Where is my skype number

Hello!
I've just bought a skype number (german) and payed it via PayPal. I've got a mail, what said my number is ready to use. But I can not find my number in my account!!! Can anybody help? If I click "skype number" in my account, it wants to register another number. And I can not see the number also in my profile.... Any idea??

Where is the link to extend Skype Number subscript...

Have you guys figured out where Skype hides the link to extend our subscriptions for fixed phone numbers?
I've been searching the message boards for about an hour now and all I can find are hundreds of other angry people trying to find the same answer.
What's the point in emailing me to renew my annual phone number subscription if Skype won't even provide a working link or instructions to do it? The only thing the email managed to do was remind me that it's time to deal with this --- again and put me in a bad mood again.
Does MagicJack hate their customers as much as Skype does? If not I'm outta here!

Skype Number & Subscription....where's the subscri...

So I'm new to Skype. I want a number so people without Skype can call me, and I want to be able to call them.
I signed up for "Skype Number + 12 month subscription" and I got the Skype number, but when I make an outgoing call it's still counting against the $10 in Skype credit I purchased earlier. Domestic call... actually just calling my home phone from Skype.
So I was just wondering why I didn't get the 12 month subscription and how that all works.

Where can I find out how much a Skype Number costs...

So, I get an email on Skype numbers. I click because I am interested and all I get in a bunch of fluff about how great it is. There is nothing that I can find about cost, anywhere. Is it under prices? No, or at least I did not that I see after clicking on every single option.
What is Skype hiding? The information should be there after I click from the email or at the very least after one additiona click. I shouldn't have had to go here to the community board to find out, and yet the only search that generated the information was the one here on the Community Board.
Enough of this manipulative crap. Skype needs to honest. Because of Skype's lack of transparency -- that i cannot be sure what I am buying -- my opinion of Skype is the lowest possible.

Correct! A Skype Number subscription is not bundled with other subscriptions or features. However, if you purchase a subscription first, a Skype Number is offered at a discounted price.

As long as outgoing call costs can be covered by the call subscription you purchase, there should be no additional costs. If you do attempt to place a call which falls outside what the call subscription covers, you will see a pop-up message indicating you would need to purchase credit to cover those charges.

UK Skype Number on iPhone 5s

Hi,
I am doing this for the first time. I am currently travelling alot and as such need to be contactable on a central number. I would like that central number to be a UK number from skype where people from the US, UK and the Middle East can call me.
However in addition I was wondering, since I have the skype application on my iphone 5s, if there was a way that when someone calls me from the US, UK or the Middle East on the Skype UK number, if I can make it so that the number ports the call to my local number of the country I am in?
For example, I am in the North of India at the moment. And say I have obtained a UK skype number. Someone from the Middle East calls me on the UK skype number and diverts to my India mobile number. However I dont want the caller to know that I am in India or that the call was diverted to my India number. I want the caller to still think he/she is calling a UK number. This would be the ideal scenario.
However, I think what does happen and am not sure . . . in the same above scenario . . . when the person calls the UK skype number, it rings on my iphone but it rings on the skype application which means while the person thinks they are still calling the UK number, I am limited to always being around WIFI in order to accept the call. If I am out and about with no WIFI, I cannot get the call. What happens to the call then - does it go into some sort of voice mail where once I am within WIFI range I can return the persons call back?
The other question I have - what happens when I call the person from the skype application. Is there a way that I can call overseas and have them only see the UK skype number that I have obtained from skype?
Any advise on what is the best method for me to follow so that people can reach me on one central number that is a UK based number and they think they are calling a UK number no matter where in the world I am. AND when I call them all they see on their end is the same UK number. And of course I would love for the solution to be economic in terms of cost and not to technical to use as I am not technical - I prefer the phone rings and I pick or I pick the phone and I call kind of easy process . And of course it should be compatible for my iphone 5s

iOS 7 will offer call blacklisting, which in reality is not true call blocking. It allows a call to connect, compares the caller ID information with a database of blacklisted numbers, and if a match is there, it hangs up the call without ever riniging.
The feature is part of iOS 7, not specific to the iPhone 5s at all.

How to switch Skype number from 3-month plan to an...

A friend initially subscribed to 3-months Skype number plan. Now she would like to change to 1-year subscription. However, there does not seem to be any option to do this. The initial 3 months just passed and an automatic charge appeared on her payment card. There does not seem to be any "modify" subscription option (not even a "cancel" subscription option). There is no Skype/Microsoft support readily available. This is very bad experience for her and it seems to be rather common issue. I am actually surprised by this and have expected more from Skype/Microsoft. Any ideas about how to change the subscription?

As strange as this sounds, the short-term Skype Number contract needs to be cancelled. When the subscription ends, the Skype Number is held in reserve for a period of 90 days, during which timeframe the number can be renewed for an annual term.
If all else fails, please contact Skype customer service for further assistance. I would report to Customer Service that the renewal e-mails were not received - after checking that the account's registered e-mail address is correct! You would not believe the number of enquiries I read where a Skype account's registered e-mail address has fallen into disuse, not updated, and therefore resulting in no communications received from Skype.

Need to Immediately Deactivate a Skype Number

I purchased a Skype number that turns out to have been previously owned by a scam operation and is still receiving calls. I alreaday purchased a second Skype number to replace it, and canceled the first number.
The problem is that the first number is still active until the end of the subscription in 2015.
How can I deactivate this number immediately? I don't expect a refund, I just want it to go away now. I really don't want to shut down the entire Skype account and lose my Skype name just to deactivate a phone number.

Hi, i'm in UAE for travel, my account says that my skype number is inactive, but i have enough credit. How can i active it??

What type of license is the key for: individual, student/teacher, government, team, enterprise, promotional, bundled, what?
Where did you get the software installer from, a link in your purchases area or a download elsewhere on Adobe's site or from ProDesignTools?
Is there anything that was done out of the ordinary, originally, to get your software to work?
In other words might the key be for a different type of license than the installer you're trying to use.

Duplicate Payment for Skype Number?

I subscribed for skype online number on 10/31/2014 . You charged my account on 11/03/2014 in the amount of $30.48. On the 12/31/2014 you charged my account again for $30.00 for the same number again. I called my bank that you are charging me twice for the same number. I disputed the second charged that was made in the amount of $30.00. Can you please explain why you charged me $30.48 0n 11/03/2014.

To clarify: the $30.48 charge on October 31st 2014 was for renewal of your Unlimited US & Canada 12 months subscription. The $30.00 charge on December 31st 2014 was for renewal of your Skype Number for a 12 month term.
As you reported one of these charges as fraudulent, you will need to contact Skype customer service to restore access to your account. Any time a charge is reported as fraudulent and a credit card charge-back is processed, the Skype account will be suspended as an effort to eliminate future fraudulent charges.

Can anyone tell me where i find what my skype number is? i didnt write it down and cant seem to find it listed anywhere

Your Skype Number appears in your account details, where you manage payment methods as well as subscriptions and credit purchases. When you sign on to the Skype website, click on the Manage Features link, or the Skype Number block (the new website configuration for our accounts looks a lot like the Windows 8 "tiles").

Skype number not working

Evening to all. Purchased skype number yesterday, have gone through what I think is all of the replies, and tried them all, my skype number is still always busy..........please help. Thankyou

By way of reminder, perform your test calls from a mobile or fixed line phone; if you call your Skype Number from Skype, Skype gets confused and thinks you are calling yourself, and the call will always ring busy.

Unable to renew Skype Number

When I log into Skype, it tells me my number is about to expire. When I click on "Settings" to renew it, it simply tells me I have insufficient Skype funds (I don't). All it will allow me to do is "Update" my payment settings, even though it actually won't (when I press "billing" nothing happens). When I go to the section of the site to download a number, it only aks me to purchase a new one. HALP.

On the day your Skype Number subscription expires, it will be automatically renewed for the same period of time for which you initially purchased it.
To change your Skype Number payment method:
Sign in to your account.
In the Manage features section, click Skype Number. You’ll see the next payment due date under your Skype Number.
Click Settings.
Here you can change your existing payment method.
You can change your payment method as long as the new method supports recurring payments, such as a credit card, PayPal or Skype Credit. This is not possible in countries where the payment cannot be made from your Skype Credit balance.
When you cancel your subscription and your Skype Number expires, you can reactivate it from your account within 90 days.

I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

I have been trying to raise my concern via the skype chat but it seems its not working. But basically here is my concern.
I got a skype number a few months ago, About 1month ago, i could not continue with the payments. so now the skype number doesnt go through. I would like to know how to reconnect my skype number. is there a link where i make payment and continue with the use of my old skype number.

You should be able to sign on to your account dashboard and reactivate your Skype Number. The number will be held on your account for ninety (90) days following the Skype Number subscription's expiration, so you have opportunity to sign on and renew the subscription.
Remember that the payment method you wish to use is accurate and up-to-date. If you used Skype credit, be sure there is enough credit on account to cover the cost of the renewal.

Problem in skype number

The problem I've got me on Skype 4 numbers
2 work well _ line U.S. and British line
And 2 do not work except in the case receive Askaybe calls only and are not allowed to call with the numbers show and become invisible line and two _ Swiss and the Japanese line

this happens a lot with people using voip methods its easy now to spam call people because with voip access they can cover their tracks up by fake caller ids and mis lead the caller id methods, use an alias phone number to off set the real number. im a voip phone carrier my self and my system lets you block private callers and i can call you from my system and flip from one number to another to cover my calling area number. and i can also fake call you saying im with the feds when truly i'm not. the caller id functions lets people fake call for scams or trying to get information from you. i been a skype user from the day its been out i never follow Microsofts methods as a safety reason. as i have had many found trojans by microsoft i never have trusted the company after bill gates retired from it. i been on line and in services for a good 22 years most of my customers have been Microsoft users or pc owners, and most of the time the system was injected with trojans and viruses by the Microsoft system. serv pack 4 windows 2000 pro had a virus at one point to, i still have it i passed it to the feds back in 2003. and i to also had someone act like a moron who called me from skype tracked them back and had then arrested. they called my home phone from skype system. so ya now days you need to be-careful of where you pass the number now most likely when they disclaimed they called you they most lily lied in fear of the feds, i can track all skype calls as my system is in ties to the us dept of commerce because i work for NOAA.

Cancelling my skype number

I took a subscription for a skype number in June, thinking it was only for three months. I no longer need it but discover I have just been billed for the coming three months, even though I will not need it or be using it. I can find no way to communicate this problem with Skype folks. Help, please!
