Where is my table,if Package is not given for RPY_TABLE_INSERT?

Hi,
I have a question on FMs RPY_TABLE_INSERT and  DDIF_TABL_PUT.
When the  RPY_TABLE_INSERT is called ,a dialog is poped up to give package name and so on.If I don't select any package or I click 'Cancel' in this dialog, then use DDIF_TABL_PUT to write a table in ABAP dictionary and get success. But where is my table saved?
I can only use se14 or se16 to check this table, but I never seen in which location thie table lies.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance
B.R.

Can you view the table via SE11?  If so, check the object directory entry.
Click Go To--> Object Directory Entry.

    trying sqldeveloper 2.1.1 & 3.0.02 (64 bit)
    jre 1.6
Started getting blanks this morning when expanding the nodes of most of my local users (cleared filters). Seeing no tables, views, packages. However, if I login sqlplus as that user and select * from tabs, I CAN see all tables are there.
I can use sqldeveloper to view all the SYSTEM user objects and one recent user that I imported (impdp) from a 10g database. However, every other user appears empty in sqldeveloper.
I grant connect, resource to all users since this is just a development database. Also tried granting CREATE SESSION and even ALL PRIVILEGES, no luck. All tried restarting.

self is also facing the same issue. workstation is install WINDOWS 7 Pro and 10g client is not available as of now for Windows 7 Pro so oracle client 11.2.0.1.0 installed. Database pertains to one datacenter is serving as desired but databases lying with remote data center, none of objects are shown even not as SYS also where as sqlplus is showing all objects. tried with TNS option and without TNS as well but objects not listed. don't understand the behavior of SQLDeveloper 2.1.1.64 Build-Main 64.45. for information all DBs are of 10.2.0.4 with mix flavour of non windows o/s.

I want to know the common directory path and disk location?Probably your database is stored on ASM Filesystem, wich are using the /dev/sdb1 and /dev/sdc1. So if your database files is on ASM "DATA" diskgroup then all objects is there.
    Query V$DATAFILE, V$CONTROLFILE, V$LOGFILE, V$TEMPFILE
    2. When the Fast Recovery Area (FRA) does the backup job, will the tablespace, table structure (column, type, key, index), package, procedure, trigger, and function also be backed up to the Fast Recovery Area (FRA), in addition to the data files, control files, redo logs and archived logs?FRA is used to hold backups of database then your objects are backed up there too.

  • ESS Busness Package Content Not Accessible For Delta Copy Role

We are implementing EP 6.0 connected to an ECC 5.0 backend System. We have imported ESS Business Package 60.2 into the portal. If I assign the ESS role "out of the box" (PCD folder structure: CONTENT PROVIDED BY SAP => END USER CONTENT => com.sap.pct.ess.employee => com.sap.pct.ess.roles => Employee Self-Service) to the Everyone Group, the content displays correctly. I had to set the Web Dynpro System Permissions for the End User to get this to work (Everyone Group => Administrator None, End-User Enabled) but did NOT have to set any Permissions on the role or its parent folders. I made a delta copy of the ESS User Role and placed it in a customization folder in the PCD and then deleted some of the worksets from the delta copy. The remaining worksets, roles, iviews, etc in the delta copy role are located in the PCD in folder structure: CONTENT PROVIDED BY SAP => END USER CONTENT => com.sap.pct.ess.employee. The Web Dynpro System Permissions for the End User are set(Everyone Group => Administrator None, End-User Enabled). The ESS navigation tabs are visible as well as the Overview page but none of the area group pages or services will display. I have tried setting End-User permissions on the PCD folder that contains the delta copy role but it still will not work. Any ideas?

    HI,
Please send me the best practice you use to create ESS role and workset.
    thanks,

  • "show package content" not available for keynote docs

Anyone have a work-around for this? It still works for applications, but keynote docs either changed the way the supporting files are saved or for some other reason I can't get into the package. Is there another way to open the package besides right-clicking and using the drop down menu?
    thanks--

Thanks... so how do I get inside to view/edit/rename/change elements? That was such a handy way to find a graphic and insert a new one, change it etc. without having to re-do it in the software. Also, if I'm trying to get an image from a keynote doc will it let me "save as image" like ppt does? I haven't found a way to do this, that's why I always open the package and get the image that way.
    thanks--

  • Weird.. package does not exist

I know this is a common question and i searched the forum but nothing there is what I need.
First of all I have the 'main' source file under a directory: d:\Model1_SecurityService\
There is a subdirectory securityservice, under which there are several other directories according to the packages I have.
Another directory I have is: d:\Model1_Classes
When I compile the main program from d:\Model1_SecurityService> typing the following: javac -d d:\Model1_Classes testmain.java
When I do this, i get an error message saying package does not exist for each package I import in the main file.
My classpath has d:\Model1_Classes in it and my path has .; etc.
Anyone know what the problem is?
Everything used to work but i continued working on another computer and after copying these changes to this one, i'm getting these errors...

So, for example if you had a class Baz in package
    com.foo.bar and you're using d:\Model1_Classes as your
root directory for your compiled code, then there
    should be a directory structure
    d:\Model1_Classes\com\foo\bar
which contains the compiled class Baz.class. Is this
    what you have?yes
I found the problem though, apperently i need . in my classpath as well; don't know why actually, but it works now.
thanks for wanting to help though

  • Help! Packages did not install, and bootloader is nonexistant.

Right now, I just installed archlinux through my usb stick and used the netinstall x86_64, because I use a 64 bit processor. Anyways these packages could not download for some reason:
    cloog
    mpfr
    ppl
    autoconf
    automake
    wget
    which
    m4
    bin86
    bison
    wpa_supplicant
    gcc and
    isdn4k
Also I couldn't get the bootloader installed. Now, most things are working so, I just need to get a bootloader installed and get those packages. Here's the main issue:
I need wpa_supplicant to connect to my network.
Can anyone help me here? I would appreciate it.
I have a previous installation of arch on another computer, so tech & linux terms shouldn't confuse me.

    Hi,
I do not totally get your problem. Is this just a matter of installing wpa_supplicant? Then you should download the package on the other machine that does work.
    pacman -Sw wpa_supplicant
Afterwards you can copy it to the new machine and install the package file using
    pacman -U /path/to/file.pkg.tar.gz
. I figure you are able to set up wpa_supplicant since you used netinstall.
    Am I entirely off?!
During the install I used wpa_supplicant, but it didn't install to the system.

  • Error while deploy mapping ora-06550 table or view does not exist

    Hi everyone,
i have a target source 'U_BCK' that cointains some Oracle table.
I have also created a target schema 'BCK_OWNER' where i create some dimensions and cubes with mappings.
My mappings connect some table from U_BCK with dimension or cube from BCK_OWNER.
My repository owner is called 'rep_owner' and i used this user to create every metadata.
Now i'm trying to deploy, and i don't have any problem until deploying mappings. When i try to deploy mappings i get some errors like ora-06550,ora-00942 table or view does not exist and statement ignored.
Please help me and sorry for my english...
    Thanks,
    Alex.

The mapping, that drives the data from one table to another is deployed to the database as a PL/SQL package. When deploying your mapping fails, it most often means that the resulting PL/SQL package doesn't compile in the database.
Using Oracle SQL Developer (or Toad, SQL Navigator or any other tool) connect to the schema on the database where you have deployed the mapping. Open the pl/sql package and compile it. That should show you the place where the compilation fails, and give you an idea as to what table it can not find. Otherwise, in SQLPLUS, you can simply give the following command:
    ALTER PACKAGE THE_PACKAGE_NAME_GOES_HERE compile body;
    show errors;
As the database user who owns the source tables, make sure to issue a GRANT command for each of the source tables, granting SELECT access to the database user who owns the mapping:
grant select on TABLENAME to TARGETSCHEMA.
    hope this helps

    Hi OWB experts,
I'm having yet another problem with OWB, this time when I try to deploy a mapping I get this error:

Where AYADEV_LOCATION points to the module/schema/location where my source data is.
Now, I have defined three modules:
SOURCE, where I defined the tables and other objects from the original database (source data)
STAGE, where I am performing all the transformations; here I defined all the maps
TARGET, this holds the dimensions and fact tables.
Now all three modules point to different databases. The dblink for AYADEV_LOCATION has been created and shouldn't present any problems. The username that I'm using to log on to the source database is current and I can connect to it through SQL+ or any other program (TOAD, SQLDeveloper).
What could be happening here? I'm using OWB 10g R2, with Oracle DB 10g R2.
I'd really appreciate any help you could provide.

    [osantos]

    Hi,
I'm still having problems but I found out why these tables are returning errors. The username I've been given by the DBA to connect to the database is CONSULTA, but this user is only for querying purposes, the actual objects reside on a differente schema, of course, which is PROD. So the line:
    "CONSULTA"."ESTADOS"@"PROD@AYADEV_LOCATION" "ESTADOS"
raises an exception because the table ESTADOS is not located on that schema, but on PROD. If I query the table from SQL Plus with:
    SELECT *
    FROM [email protected]@AYADEV_LOCATION
then there's no problem at all.
Why is this? How do I instruct OWB to point to the correct schema or to avoind fully qualifying the table name?
Please help me, I'm kind of confused here.
    Best Regards,
    --oswaldo.
