Where is my U-Verse rewards card?

I still havent received my U-Verse rewards eventhough my status says that it was mailed out over 3 weeks ago!!! Who can i contact about this?

  • Rewards card account for FIOS service -can one check transactions and balance online?

    The phone line to check the balance is on some really bad call centerish line- so are the customer service centres-virtually inaudible on a very noisy line. THey were not aware that the web page for rewards cards does not show anything beside an image of the card and as status, the fact that it was mailed out (6 months back!) . No balance, no transactions are visible online. Neither customer service nor the rewards helpline are any use. Please advise how to check the balance and transactions online.

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
    Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
    To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
    Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

    If you look at the topics on this forum and other ATT boards, you will see that this is an ongoing problem that ATT can't seem to solve. ATT owes me $250 in gift cards. I finally got tired of their rude customer service and calling their customer service both wireless and cable AND their rewards center customer service. After months of trying to resolve this, I finally placed a complaint with the FTC and in my complaint referred to this board and other boards showing that this problem is common and on-going. I have two cellphones, internet, and cable TV with ATT. When I signed up online, I was promised $400 total in Rewards Cards. I was supposed to receive certain amount for signing up for cable, another amout for signing up for internet, another for signing up for those two online, and an extra mount for already haveing two cell phones with them. When it came down to it, I never received the notifications in the mail telling me how to redeem my cards. After calling the reward center customer service, I was about to get $200 in cards. The customer service agent claimed that she didn't see the other $200. Really?! That led to dozens of calls to the general customer service trying to figure out how to get what ATT promised me. Every time I called, the agents that answered would give me a different excuse or different reason as to why I haven't gotten the cards. All of them claimed that they could not see what promotion I was offered. Again, really?! So, when customers log in to their website to pay a bill and an offer for additional service pops up, ATT does not keep track of what they are actually offering customers? Not only this, but the email confirmation I received when I signed up for the internet and cable didn't have what was offered to me either. That's so convenient. So, when customers complain about not being given what they were offered, there is no way for customers to prove the offer because ATT does not include in its confirmations what they actually offered you. Nor does what they offered you show up anywhere on your account online. To make matters worse, the last time I called to try to get this straightened out, an agent offered me a $50 gift card to upgrade my TV service. Being stupid, I accepted it. Do you think I got that one either? No! So, all in all, ATT owes me $250 in rewards cards. Don't waste your time and energy trying to settle this with customer service. You will never get anything resolved dealing with them; even after months of calling them to try to straighten things out.  Just file a complaint with the FTC so that ATT can stop scamming their customers with these offers of gift cards that they don't intend to actually give to their customers. I filed my complaint online with the FTC about two weeks ago and I'm waiting to hear back from them.  After this gift card debacle is taken care of, I STILL have to settle another thing with ATT. A few years ago, at another apartment, one of their servicemen damaged my landlord's property while installing cable and internet. I had to pay my landlord out of my own pockets for the damage they cause. One of their regional managers told me that the installation charge and my first month's bill would be taken care of by ATT. I thought that they took care of both of those charges as they promised. A few years later, I'm adding another cellphone to my ATT wireless account and was told by an agent that I had an outstanding cable bill with ATT and that I would have to pay it before I got the phone. When I asked her the account number and address where the account is listed, lo and behold, it's the address where their tech damaged my landlords property. Turns out that ATT never took off the charges for the installation and the first bill. So, I was forced to pay over $200 just to add the new phone. That's the next issue I have to deal with when it comes to ATT and I'm sure that one won't be resolve either and that I'll be forced to file another FTC complaint. Thank goodness I kept the pictures of the damage and the emails between me and the manager regarding it. Otherwise, as with the gift cards, I'd have not proof. Being an ATT customer is such a hassel. Can't wait until my current contract is over on the two cellphones I have. I plan on going to another cell phone provider and changing my internet and cable to another provider as well. ATT has wasted so much of my time and energy with their horrible business practices and useless customer service.

    I was supposed to recieved a $50 Visa card for becoming a customer and purchasing an Internet package. My account says it shipped July 17th and it is now August 4th and I haven't received it. I would like an explanation. I have seen where other customers haven't recieved their's either.

    You appear unaware that this is standard terminology with gift and reward cards.  It's pretty much industry-wide.
    These cards are in fact not credit cards at all, but limited value debit cards.  Real credit cards are by definition devices that allow the user to spend on "credit" with predefined credit limits.  Gift cards of the sort issued by Verizon are nothing of the sort.  The user presents the card at checkout and the system determines the remaining value.  This method has nothing to do with standard credit cards. 
    As an aside, what difference does it make anyway?  The last time I checked money was still fungible.

    I do NOT like using my credit card if I don't have to, and I went out of my way to go buy an Apple gift card, which I successfully redeemed into my Apple account. However, when I use the Apple "Cards" app, it will not let me use anything other than my credit card. I tried purchasing a card, hopefulling it would come out of my Apple store balance, but no such luck -- it came out of my credit card.
    Apple is becoming more like Microsoft every day.

  • Can't use the Verizon reward card

    I am not able to pay anything with my Verizon reward card, not even my own Verizon bill.
    Try to talk to somebody calling the number in the back of my card (Visa) but there is no option to talk to somebody.
    Is that only happening to me? Tried to search around but couldn't find much besides people complaining about not received cards.
    Any help/direction will be appreciated.

    Good morning, We opened an account on July 2014 but never got the reward card that was promissed.I opened the account thru internet. I have the complete conversation printed and my gift card promissed.I have been trying to contact someone to help me but its been impossible. Including, I am getting hang up! Last time, Amanda did it! That is not the best customer service... We closed the account on May 31st because of the bad customer service. And today, we are getting charged again!!! Almost two months later. I think this matter was just solved...     Should of came to this forum last July and we could of helped with your rewards, but its way to late now.  ATT doesn't just send out the reward cards, there is an easy process that must be followed to receive your rewards.
    We could of helped with any Customer Service issues that you might have.

  • Scammed the amount of Verizon rewards card

    I signed up in November 2014 with Verizon being told I would get a $400 rewards prepaid card. I was told that I have to pay two billing cycles consecutively and I will receive it the third month. The triple play package I signed up for (which was the highest package)I was told it would include channels like all cable channels, I would get premium channels as well. After service was installed I noticed I didn't have channels like ESPN So I called to ask and they corrected it without informing me Anything else. So I got an activation code in the mail and email and phone call letting me know my card should be here soon. So far I still never received it yet and after tracking it down its only $250 I'm going to receive and not $400. They said it's because I added ESPN when I told the rep i was informed I was supposed to have it and they corrected it. it was a mistake on their end. And now because of I won't get what I was entitled to. I'm switching back to time warner. Don't switch to Verizon. There full of it with the rewards card offer. R

    I am having a problem with the same reward card. I received the card and PIN number. I am trying to activate the card and it is giving me errors. I have now been on hold for half an hour after talking to a rep for 5 minutes and him telling me 3 different lies, so I asked for a manager. The absolute worst experience and customer service I have ever had. I will look into all recourse to canceling my package

    I'd recently moved and switched to ATT Uverse and was awarded $200 in gift cards but didn't receive the cards for a while, I called and spoke to somebody and they said they should get to me soon and a few days later I got an envelope on my door from somebody in my building that I guess had gottem them in their mail and mistakenly opened them. I've tried to use them at the grocery store and at a best buy but neither card worked and I couldn't figure out why, I tried calling the number on the back of the card but the automated system doesn't let me get through to talk to somebody and now the cards appear to be expired (which I didn't think gift cards could expire in California) but I'm confused how I even use them if they never seem to work, is there some sort of activation process or are there only authorized locations these are accepted?  thanks for any assistance you can provide

     The rewards cards need to be activated at https://rewardcenter.att.com/home.aspx . I just received 2 $150 cards today and when you activate them the money gets transfered to the card. The cards have a $0 balance before they're activated. The cards are only good for 3 months once they're issued. Mine both expire in October.
