Where is "Open in..."?

I have a 4th gen iPad with the latest Reader app update.
i long tapped on a .pdf in my knitting patterns at www.ravelry.com and, while a white box with options pops up, I see "Open" and "Open in new tab," but not "Open in...." Is this where I am supposed to see it?
So I went to my Dropbox account where some more .pdfs are. Long tapping there doesnt open up a box with a list of options. In fact, nothing happens.
Next, I went to the Reader instructions and learned that I could swipe one of the .pdf titles in Dropbix to expose the icons under it. None of them are called "Open in...."
im somehow supposed to be able to tap on a.pdf and see "Open in...." I know of two ways to do it and am getting nowhere.
EIther "Open in..." is now called something else and the instructions need to be updated, or there is some other magic I have yet to learn about that will make this happen. I hope someone can offer some troubleshooting. if I could just find "Open in...," I'm sure everything would be fiine.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

What you're trying to do now is:
EFI->kernel (EFI stub)
This is appealingly direct, but it's tricky to get working. What the wiki now recommends is:
EFI->gummiboot->kernel (EFI stub)
...or...
EFI->GRUB->kernel
These approaches are less direct, but they're easier to configure. The trouble is that both the EFI's built-in boot manager and the EFI stub loader are tricky to configure. For a newbie to get them both configured correctly on a first attempt at installing Arch is very difficult. Getting the EFI to launch gummiboot or GRUB is easier because these programs don't require the complex parameters that the EFI stub loader requires. Those parameters can instead be specified in the gummiboot or GRUB configuration file, which is easier to manage for quite a few reasons.
If you want to pursue using the EFI stub loader directly, you certainly can. I've learned from experience, though, that it's not worth my time to try to help with users who want to do this. Using an intermediary program is easier to get working. IMHO, the direct approach has no real benefits except that it gives you bragging rights that you've done it. Your system won't boot any faster or more reliably in the more direct approach. (Well, technically it will be faster, by only by a matter of milliseconds, assuming you use a 0 timeout value in gummiboot.) In fact, it will be less reliable, because gummiboot, GRUB, and rEFInd all offer ways to adjust boot options on a boot-by-boot basis, which is very helpful when fixing problems. You can't do this with the direct approach.

You can make a backup of your current settings on a USB drive using ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery, I personally don't like it nor do I use it any longer, but this doesn't mean that the next person shouldn't give it a go.
As for recovery discs, you can buy them from lenovo or check with the marketplace of ThinkPads forum, maybe someone from UK might be able to hook you up with a set.
One time burning of recovery discs' limitation is from Microsoft, it's in the EULA.

Where have open file gone?

Hello!
I've upgraded from SQL Developer version 1.1 to 1.5 yesterday.
I wonder where the 'open file' menu entry in the context menu of a sql worksheet has gone. Currently I have to choose a database connection separately after the file is loaded.
Second question: Scripts which call subscripts themselves like 'start anotherscript.sql' don't work anymore. Such a call ends up in an error message saying 'Unable to open file...' It seems to me that SQL Developer doesn't search for the subscript in the directory of the main script anymore. Do I have to use absolute paths now if I want to work with version 1.5???

This is a TERRIBLE design, I'm rolling back to 1.2. If I open a script that runs other scripts in the same directory, I cannont keep setting my preferences script directory over and over each time I go somewhere else on my hard drive.

Host command, change directory where it opens command prompt

I'm using the HOST command to host out to the command prompt. What I want to know is how to change the directory that the command prompt opens up at. I want it to open up at the c:\ but instead it's opening up at in the forms60 path where forms is installed.

     What i could understand from your question is that in the FTP server you'll be writing a file in folder A and once the writing is done you need to get it moved to Folder B using a 'CD' OS command. But this OS command is not allowed in the FTP server.
    If that is the case then it will be better to write the file directly into the Folder B. But in the file adapter use the option 'Use Temporary File'. In that case until and unless the file is written fully the file will be having the name .tmp or so.
    The advantage will be the third party server could be polling the folder B for a file *.txt in that case it won't pick this .tmp file.

What do I set and where to open reader XI directly from WORD 2007

Since it is impossible to contact anyone directly but requires all this time to be spent rummaging around, my question is:
How and where do I set what so that a pdf document located in a WORD 2007 folder will open to pdf on the "open" click? I have a new computer -- I called once on the old computer and some nice and helpful person did it for me, but since everyone now is incognito with no phone I cannot talk to anyone. Clicking on "help" does not help.

You need to better explain what you want to achieve. There's no such thing as a "Word folder". There are Word documents... Do you have a Word document with a PDF file attached to it that you want to open with Reader? What happens when you double-click a PDF file directly that's saved on your computer?

Prompted to choose where to open new application. NO LUCK. I broke it.

I have had this problem for a while. Sometimes I cannot open a newly downloaded program. Sometimes there will be a system pop-up stating, "Bluetooth hardware not found". I have no idea why most of these files would have anything to do with Bluetooth. I fear I mixed something up in 'launch services' as I have been told. Below are links to past threads where I was trying to sort out the problem. Unfortunately they have been archived and I cannot respond to these original posts.
*This latest problem was with a dmg file.* I downloaded the dmg file but when I went to open it a system pop-up prompted me to 'select an application(I think it was) to open the file with'. This does not always happen. More often when I click on the newly downloaded program it just opens it up. Since this was a reverb plugin for use with Logic Express I tried to open it with Logic. This didn't work. Finally I selected 'disk utilities' hoping this would work and it does SOMETHING but it doesn't open it. Disk utilities opens up and I can see it written under my hard drives but I'm sure this is not what I wanted to do. I am obviously in over my head but I need to get this resolved. I've been ignoring the problem for too long and I am missing out on a lot of great programs because I have somehow messed my computer up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I did as instructed in the other thread. Here is a step-by-step of what I did and where it takes me: I hit control> click on desktop icon >get info> verify "open with" is set to diskImageMounter. It already was. I did not have to change it. There is the option to open with diskImageMounter(default) or disk utilities(disk utilities was not an option at first. This i'll explain later*). I then select open and the program appears in the finder. I click on it and 'disk utility' opens up with a smaller screen labeled, "New Image from folder" prompting me to 'save as', 'where' to, what 'image format' and 'encryption'.
Each new program opens up in disk utility now.
Before it opened up automatically in Disk Utility when I clicked on the program in the finder, I was prompted to select an Application to open it with. I tried various things, for example, Logic Express, as the program was a VST plugin for use with recording software. I could not select 'open' with Logic. I tried 'disk utilities' in my ignorance and that is where it took me and each subsequent time I try to open the program from the finder. *When I first opened it up in disk utilities I 'fiddled around' and subsequently each time I go to open this program there is the option to open in diskImagemounter(default) or disk utilities, however when opened it is always opened in disk utilities even though the extension in the getinfo is still dmg.
Another new program, this one a Stuffit, opens up in disk utilities.
I'll start looking into Onyx. If you think I should back up my computer beforehand that's a whole other can of worms I'll have to look into. A few months ago I bought an external drive and backed everything up but now I'll need to figure out how to do so by somehow only backing up only new files and not everything again in addition to what is already backed up. I hope that makes sense.

Hold down the Option key on the keyboard then click-hold on the + in Safari. The pop-up menu will say "Add to and Make Default" in gray at the top. Select the destination for your bookmark. The next time you click the +, the bookmark will go to that same location. :-)

We have a customer whose credit exposure is below credit limit. I'm in Customer Credit Management overview screen and I ran Credit Master sheet report (for this CMR) under Environment -> Reporting -> Credit Master Sheet.
I see value in Receivables and Open Sales Order Value which sums up to Credit Exposure Value. I'm wondering which sales orders are considered to calculate open sales order value?
I ran different order reports like VA05 and some custom reports available, but I could not find a direct report that matches the open sales order value.
I manually compared Open Sales orders based on Horizon date, the value that I'm arriving is kind of close of Open Sales Order Value in Credit master sheet report.
Update rule used is 000012 in automatic credit control screen.
Please let me know if there is an easiest way to find data behind Open Sales Order Value in Credit master sheet report.

.You can not compare the VA05 open sales order report with FD32 open sales order report.
You can find out the open order values of Credit manangement(FD32) in S066 table.
