Photomerge panorama in elements 7 problem, please help

Hello, I am having difficulty making a photomerge panorama with elements 7. Here is how I am going about it:
I have 3 files saved as jpegs I want to stitch. I open a file from its location in My Pictures, minimize it, then do the same for the next two pictures. I do this in order of left picture, center picture, right picture. Using the small pane at the bottom of the elements window, I hold down ctrl and click each of the three open pics to select them. Then I go to file and select new, photomerge panorama. A window pops up for making a new photomerge panorama, but nothing pops up staggered behind it--no new empty file screen or winows ocntaining my open files as I have seen in the tutorials). I leave it on auto and click add open files. All three titles show up in the window. Then I click OK. Nothing happens. There is no new file window for it to create a panorama in. I do not get an error messae. Just nothing as if I made no command. Can anyone tell me how to correct what I am doing to make it work?

All I needed to do was stop minimizing the photos to the bin. When I left them all open on the elements desktop, it worked seemlessly. Amazing- thank you!

Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call? You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Where can I download Elements 11?

My PC breaked down an now I have a problem. I have product key to Elements 11, but the installation soft is in the graveyard of the computers. I can't download it, because only v. 12. What now?

I must admit - it was mostly my fault.
But, when I tried to download, I must did it several times. Often I get
information: 'downloading breaked for a unknowing reason.' But now is
ewerything in order.

Photomerge Panorama in elements 13

Does anyone else have problems with getting Photomerge Panorama to open in Elements 13?

Why is Adobe continuing to ignore the many forum threads inquiring about this same problem? IMO, this issue continuing year-after-year (and version after version) represents irresponsible decision-making on the part of their Change Control Board / maintenance management, for such a fundamental operation as photo-stitching.
In particular, when the same two images can be merged successfully using any of a number of separate photo-stitch apps from other vendors, yet crashes Adobe Photoshop, then ipso facto, where do YOU think the blame lies?
In my opinion as a software programmer, an attempt to perform such a basic operation as merging two images, regardless of their size, should NOT cause a frickin' crash. Programmatically, this speaks to (a) poor memory management, and (b) terrible error-detection/handling/reporting.
By several accounts in those forum threads, this problem continues with the latest OS updates, the latest driver updates, the latest Adobe Photoshop updates/versions, more-than-adequate RAM, more-than-adequate disk space, etc., etc., etc. ... Crashing Adobe Photoshop is an unacceptable outcome for such a fundamental operation, even if one is working with photos that are truly of larger-than-normal size. It's COMPLETELY inexcusable when the images in question are of standard sizes produced by current-day camera technology. The workaround of resizing the original photos is an unacceptable option for someone who is attempting to maximize a print size without resolution loss.

Interactive Panorama in elements 12

Is there a work around to allow this to be done?
I normally work nights so often find myself shooting night skys and star light, the milky way makes a beatiful back drop to some of the ruined buildings in the area. However to make full use of both the landscape and the stars panoramics makes alot of sense. Having just moved from a fairly old Nikon D50 to D7100 i was also forced to upgrade elements as the old elemnts 6 i was using did not support the new NEF files the D7100 produced.
I was shocked when i found there was no interective option for making my panoramas as the automatic system has in place seem unable to stitch with the tiny points of light that are the starts.
Elements 6 at least alloed me to get it close enough with the interactive layout
Any ideas will be greatly appreaciated.

In photoshop cs6 give this a try:
1. Go to File>Scripts>Load Files into Stack, browse and load the pictures for the pano with the Attempt to Align and Create Smart Object unchecked
2. Increase the canvas size of the document with the Crop Tool holding down the Alt key and dragging
    one of the crop corners out until you think the canvas is big enough to arrange your documents for the pano.
3. Align the layers manually in the document window with the Move Tool as good as you can.
   (you can lower the layer opacxity so you can see the alignment better, but don't forget to put all the layers back to 100% opacity)
4. Select all the layers in the layers panel
    (Select>All Layers)
5. Go to Edit>Auto-Blend Layers and use Blend Method>Panorama and Seamless Tones and Colors
6. After the blending it's possible you might see some whats looks like seams, so press Shift+Alt+Ctrl+E to make a merged copy on a new layer and hopefully that'll
    get rid of the seams.
I'll make another post with directions for putting the plugin into photoshop cs6, since you probably don't want to install pse 11 just to get a plugin when
photoshop cs6 is so much more capable than elements, for panoramas anyway.

The HTML5 elements were added to CS6 in an updater. If all you've got are div tags and Spry options, it sounds as though you're using the original release of Dreamweaver CS6.
Whether you have access to the updater will depend on your version of CS6. If you bought it as a perpetual licence, you have access to the security updates available here: Adobe - Dreamweaver Support Center : Updaters. I don't know if any of those updaters add the new features to the Insert panel. I suspect they don't. This is one of the drawbacks of the perpetual licence: you get the original software and it never expires, but you don't get the new features offered to Creative Cloud subscribers.
If the updaters don't add the HTML5 elements to the Insert panel, you will need to insert them manually in Code view. Sorry.

Hard disc crashed, trying to reinstall applications. where do I get Elements for Mac OS 10.6?

I had Elements on my Mac when drive crashed. No idea what version I had, but I do have a box for Elements 3 with serial number and I know I upgraded it. Need version for 10.6.8. Where can I download the version for my OS?

I'll give that a try. The only issue is way back when, I was using an old AOL email account which I don't use anymore, and trying to get back into that account is impossible because Adobe sends a new password to the old AOL account. And I don't see any way to email anyone to get this figured out.

How to handle where xmltype has empty elements

Here is my problem:
I have some information stored in table1 and some information in table2.These tables are joined with a key.
Table2 has an xmltype column. That stores if
anything (any info) has been overridden. That is has changed. There is information in this table even when nothing is overridden. In that
case the xmltype has blank elements.
In my query I have to display all records where the information has been overridden.That is fine as I extract from xmltype column using xmlsequence.
The issue arises when I need to display information when it is not overridden. In that case since the xmltype has empty
elements, the query doesnt return anything (NO RECORDS).Here it is not overridden

that says select null for the xmltype elements that I am selecting.
I handle null as follows:
select null as lt,null as ll......
from ....This returns me a row even if something is overridden. I want a row from this null query only if it is not being returned from the other query.
I know confusing but...:-(

I am all set. Added something in where condition. Work around that would work:)

Where are the Premiere Elements Templates stored once downloaded

Hi, I'm downloading the Movie Templates to my Desktop and appreciate that this will take some time. So I don't have to repeat this exercise, can someone tell me where the templates are stored so I may archive them. Thanks.

Wheres the Adobe Premiere Elements 10 icon?

I just bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 with Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and I have a new HP Pavillion g6, Windows 7, i5 core, 2.4 processor.
The package did not have any clear instructions for installing these programs but the discs said for MAC or Windows.   2 of the disc said to START with disc 2 for Windows 7.
OK I did that, then I went to disc 3, then disc 4. Disc 1 and 5 were marked MAC and did not work. I tried them just in case. Remember there were no clear instructions.
I got the Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 icon on my start screen.
My questions are:        Where is the icon for Adobe Premiere Elements 10?
                                     Was I suppose to go in some particular order?
                                     Should I have tried to install disc 1 and 5, because I tried them and they did not work?
                                     Disc 4 said installation was successful for Adobe Premiere Elements 10, but I could not find it in my programs?
                                     Is it now part of and incorporated into Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and does not need a separate icon?

Trying to do a panorama in Elements 12 with photos from LR5

I tagged a number of photos in LR5 and did an Edit In -> Merge to Panorama in Photoshop.., but the photos don't show up?

That’s for LR to CS6 or CC; not Elements. You are best to export jpegs from LR and then open them in PSE12 Expert Mode and from the menu use:
Enhance >> Photomerge >>Photomerge Panorama
