Where is PlayStation Video in Xperia Z4 Tablet

Hello: I just bought a Xperia Z4 Tablet, and everything is perfect, but one thing. There is no PS Video app. So I can't watch, download or buy new movies in this service. I also can't download it from Google Play... is not there. Downloaded the apk, but didn't install. Anyone can help, please. I have a good collection there. And I'm writing from Spain. My device is SGP712, compilation 28.0.A.6.2 Thanks in advance!Daniel.

Adding some pictures of the installation process (sorry, they are in spanish, but is easy to get the point): And in this one says "The aplication is not installed": Maybe the problem is that in the first picture says "Do you want to install an update of this integrated application", but the app is not in the system. I susspect the app is inside the firmware, and the apk is only an update. If I don't have the core, I can't install the update. So, if that is true, the question is: how do I install the core Playstation Video app? Should I wait until a new firmware is released, hoping the app is inside?

No PlayStation Video for my Xperia Z2 Tablet

Hello forum,
I have noticed that my Xperia Z2 phone has the PS Video replacing the previous Sony Video Unlimited, however my Xperia Z2 Tablet doesn't have the PS Video, it still has Sony Video Unlimited. I have tried installing a PS Video apk however that didn't install.
Both are running on Lollipop latest update build - 23.1.A.1.28 and my region is United Kingdom
Am I missing an update for it or is the Xperia Z2 Tablet not getting the app update?

Xperia Z2 Tablet : Weird volume issue playing music or videos

I picked up the Xperia Z2 Tablet about a week after I got the Z3v for that $299 tablet deal. I love the tablet; it's fast and works great. But, I noticed that sometimes when playing music (the included loaded songs) it would sometimes lower the volume on it's own until I could barely hear it. Re-orienting the tablet (so it auto rotates) would immediately fix it, and the volume would return to it's original setting (for 10-20 secs) until you rotated the tablet again. I also tried this with youtube videos, my own loaded videos of concerts I took, and iHeart radio streaming music. All will display this behavior. I checked all the sound and volume settings, even hard reset the tablet erasing everything. I then took the tablet back to my Verizon Wireless Store and they exchanged it. The new one does the exact same thing...it's 99 percent of the time, and there is a slim chance that every so often it does not do this, but it's extremely annoying. I searched online and cannot find any similar issue. Anyone observe this behavior? I took it back too the Verizon store again, but it actually stopped doing it there, but when I got home after about 15 minutes of playing some streaming iHeart, it does it again.

This is very strange therabbitssing! This is the first time I hear of audio issues like the one outlined in your post. It is particularly strange that this issue could not be duplicated at the store. Have you tried other streaming application to see if issue continues? Have you downloaded any application that require access to your device speaker or microphone? Does the audio issue occur also when using headphones?

Headphones use on Xperia Z tablet.

Recently posted that when I run YouTube or a video and then plug in headphones the Xperia Z tablet doesn't recognize the headphones and sound only comes out through speakers. I have since tried it with other headphones and have had no problems, the problem only seems to happen with the second generation Apple headphones with microphone.

I was using Apple headphones the ones that ship with iPhone 3GS, I think they are second generation they work fine... it did happen once to me where speakers stayed on I removed the headphones 're inserted and they worked fine... I'm on sgp321 if that makes any difference ?? Also people lose the wired headphones that's so 80s, I picked up the Sony sbh52 awesome Bluetooth headphones wicked battery life no wires Bluetoothed around the house with tablet in bedroom but where I messed up the sbh52 don't support aptX audio enhancement profile I didn't now that but that don't mean they don't sound good, they sound brilliant just the bass isn't deep as I would like it to be so today ordered the Sony sbh80 they should be here Friday can't wait to test them on my sgp321 and my Octa Core LTE GALAXY S4 People lose the wires and go Bluetooth trust me you will not regret it

Xperia Z2 Tablet not switching on after lollipop update

Hi,
I had recently updated my xperia z2 tablet to lollipop version. But after switching off - i couldn't turn it on. I had tried soft / hard reset ? also plugged in the same to the charger for more than 24 hrs ? But in vain. When i connect to the charger, the red light glows for a while and then fades away. it looks like its not even charging.
I had even tried - using PC companion Sw, but its not even detecting the device.... Can some one give in some guidance on topic ?
Its in warranty period but as i bought tthe same from US - its not valid in my home country (India)

I suggest that you try to repair the software using PC Companion..
If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

Sony xperia z2 tablet

Hi . i have just purchased a Sony Xperia z2 tablet , i installed a memory card in it so i could transfer the free films from Sony onto it to keep my memeory free.
When i try to do this through settings it comes up with tranfer to SD card but on the 3 selections it says they are all empty so i cant tick the video one to transfer the movies to the SD card .
but i have awarning that i am 80% full of my memory and need to transfer to a SD !!!!
what can i do to get it to transfer , it recognises my SD card by the way.

Xperia Z2 Tablet touch screen issue

Since a few days i`m owner of Xperia Z2 tablet. What i noticed the screen sometimes recognise touch, but sometimes not. I wonder have anyone else has the same problem ?. I have newest drivers installed on it through PC Companion.

I have the same issues with the Z2 tablet. I've contacted the support via chat. They told me, that there is no problem known. There is a nice Youtube video which demonstrates this touchscreen behavior.

This also shows that you can´t really use the tablet with a pen. Probablly I will give the tablet back. A tablet with a sometimes working touchscreen is not usable.

Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet compact handsfree does not work

I just bought a xperia z3 tablet. When i plugged in the handsfree, the sound doesnt come out from handsfree but from the phone speaker itself. I have tried other handsfree and the result is still the same.

Driver for all-in-one-printer L7590 for Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet

I check the specifications for your tablet and it ships with Android 4.4 (KitKat) as the tablet’s operating system so I have included the Android 4.4 (KitKat) and Later: Printing with the Android Print Solution document. It will walk you through how to print using the solution that is already installed on the tablet.

Where is captured video stored on hard drive?

I made a one-step iDVD last night. For those unfamiliar, that means you click once, the program rewinds your camera's footage, imports it, then burns a DVD. Cool. But where is the video stored on my Mac? Now that it's burned, I'd like to delete it.

I have a Ipod nano, I just uploaded some videos but i cant seem to find them in my ipod. There no videos or anything like that on my list on my ipod. Where are my videos? And can i play videos on my Ipod? (i heard you can)

no i wasnt implying anything jsut curious as to why offer advice on a hack theat will void the warranty on the ipod. I mean you should realize as a role for answering questions here is to...yeha sure give possible software but also not mention things that are known to be faulty adn that clearly void the waranty. Then if something does occur well then the poster can always come back to you adn say but he mentioned it. Yes people are supposed to think for themselves and be smart on their own but society has repeatedly shown that many cant.
Which is why many are mad when they find out here that apple cant track their stolen ipods.......which is mind boggling to understand whty a company would ever do that. but thats a seperrate topic. :P

Photo booth functionality lost: where is the video/background replacement?

Hi,
I used photo booth to replace the background with a video.
For the camera I use an isight camera.
but now in MAC 10.5.2 there IS NO BACKGROUND replacement.
It does not display the option to add the video to be used in background.
By the way there are only 2 pages or effects now...
where is the video/background functionality now in photo boot?

"2 pages or effects" is normal for us Dual G5 users. Dual G5s can't use backgrounds (sometimes Apple calls them "backdrops" instead.)
Whether the background/backdrop is in iChat OR Photo Booth, a Mac with an Intel processor is required to use backdrops/backgrounds.

Since I installed IOS 5 and the iCloud, where do my videos go...

Since I recently installed IOS 5.0.1, I have set up the iCloud... I cannot locate my photos or videos on my iPhone any longer, though I can see my photos on my wireless desktop in the download folder... Why can't I see them on my iPhone and where are my videos now...?

(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset
