Where is "PLSHPROF"? It's supposed to be in the $ORACLE_HOME/bin dir
According to Oracle:

If you already have Windows on a DVD or USB drive, you don't have to tick that option. That's only for people who have Windows on a ISO file and have to burn it into a USB drive

Thank you but I have now solved my problem.
I was trying to move music files from one iTunes library on one computer to the iTunes library on another computer.
The instructions on the Apple site tell you to open sharing on both libraries and then use the Show menu button at the bottom of the window to select 'items not in my library'
What they don't tell you is that the button is on a hidden toolbar that will only appear if both libraries are logged in to the same account with the same ID and passward in Home Sharing which is in the Advanced drop down menu.
I had Home Sharing switched on in my Preferences but was not using identical IDs & passwords.
As the toolbar with the Show menu botton was hidden I could not see it until I worked out that both computers needed an identical log-in. With that done after various trial and error efforts I found the button and was able to move the files.

If in doubt you can always do a generic search in the forums using the acronyms or keywords and then trace that back to the forum category.

I have an older white Macbook. It is supposed tohave "N" networking but needs to be unlocked. The software is supposed to come with the time-capsule, but I can not find it, also I checked with a friend who just bought an airport extreme and he can't find any software. Is the Mini-Dvi adapter suppose to click into the back on the Mac mini?
Is the Mini-Dvi adapter suppose to click into the back on the Mac mini? It does on my mac book but not on the Mac mini. I sort of have to just jam it in there, no nice clicking sound, and it does not feel very secure.
If after 'jamming it in there' it actually works, then at least you know it's the correct type of adapter. However, if it doesn't work, you are definitely not inserting it correctly or into the correct location. In either case, you may have a damaged port - all the connections on the rear when applied correctly with anything like a decent quality standard type connector should work smoothly. You should never have to 'jam' anything into the back of your mini.

the iphone goes from recovery mode to some other mode where it keeps restarting with apple logo flashing on the screen continuously. and there is no error in itunes at all which stays in "waiting for iphone" status

The command may take a few minutes to run, or perhaps longer if you have literally millions of files in your home folder. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if it frightens you, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:

Press return. A Reset Password dialog will open. You’re not going to reset a password.

I used a third party programme called Mackeeper UGHHH SOOO Stupid i know,it moved loads of files to the trash now i do not know where they originally came from or belong!! the put back option is in grey??and will not work even when i highlight one by one!!
how can i manually put these files back where they belong?
i know i should have used time machine but i have not set it up and its too late for that now
i have been researching and racking my brain on how to put these folders and contents of them back to where they once were all of the contents of the folder are still in tact AND i have not emptied my trash,my programmes and some of my apps are not working properly now...i use my computer alot for making music and things are jumbled up now...

Mine doesn't. It just goes dim.Yes, it is possible. On the right hand side of the player is the slider to turn on the player, push the slider upwards to the lock position and the screen will turn off. That is the Hold mode. At this mode, all the buttons would be inaccessible to prevent accidental pressing of the buttons. This is the mode to use when you are just playing music and do not need the display.
To unhold the player, just push the slider to the middle position and all the way down to turn it off. -

No matter where I go, as soon as I turn on the Internet on my new Mac Book Pro, everyone else is no longer able to use the Internet. How can I fix this? You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content. -
I tried to update to newest version via pc. I got error because i didn't have this recovery program disc that was supposed to come with the purchase so it says, but it didn't and now my ipod touch 8gb won't connect with itunes anymore and is stuck on a screen displaying an itunes icon with a usb icon.
oke i'm not done with the whole thing, but i'm doing that right now. Most of the advice I've already read didn't work and at a certain point it said something about shutting down programs then restart. but i notice that there are some pretty important system things in that list and i don't want to mess up my pc :s i'm not a pc genius... and because i'm dutch and my pc-language is in dutch I often have trouble translating and well... i don't always understand the technical stuff in all the articles -_-
