Where is Prelude SDK?

Where can I get the Prelude SDK?\
It is referred to on the Adobe web site:

I would love to have the Prelude SDK. I've been hacking the Project xml to load files into the project so operators just have to open a project and then QC their files in Prelude, report on them, then export the xml into another system for archiving. I'd like to automate the heck out of that (the right way). I'd also like to have a certain timecode marked in each file so operators can jump directly to that point in the footage. Prelude is awesome! How can I get the SDK?

it's probably in the archives somewhere, but I have to wonder why you want that specific build.
If your code relies on some bug in it that was fixed in later versions, your code is buggy.

BO Edge 3.1 Where is the SDK?

Where can I find the sdk in BO Edge 3.1? I have developed using the SDK a few years back and looking to integrate BO into my ASP.NET application again.

If you were using BusinessObjects Enterprise install you would have an option to do a custom installation and choose the SDK. I don't know if Edge has the same custom install options. You might have to do a client installation instead. On a dev machine you would want to install Visual Studio first.

Where to download SDKs?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I have been away from Flex for about a year and can't seem to find where to download some of the older sdks.I was looking for 4.1 most of all.

Where is the #@% SDK 1.4 SE documentation download?

Help, I just upgraded to SDK 1.4 standard edition. I want to download the API documentation but cannot find it on the web site. There were some words that it is only available on line!!!
I work often not connected to the internet and still need documentation. Hay, I don't have all the aspects of JButton committed to memeory!!!
If Sun is only offering help online, is there a work around? Like software I can buy or books that I can use?

Where Clause - Modification via SDK

Good morning,
We are currently experiencing quite a large performance impact as our record selection formulas, and parameters are not hitting our database (in where clause) and therefore a large amount of data is being pulled back and then filtered out at the report level. Was hoping someone might be able to provide some information on how we could either dynamically append to the where clause via sdk, or devise optional workaround to make sure our selected parameters are passed to the db.
Environment
Solaris, with custom User Interface that passes information to crystal reports via SDK. Crystal Reports (2008) with Universe as datasource.

SDK installers - where are they?

Hi,
I need to install SDK so we can perform collector development. However
the link at https://www.novell.com/developer/dev..._sentinel.html is
both incorrect and out of date.
I was asked to look at the beta site where the
Plugin-SDK-2014.1r1-Beta-36.zip file was available. I don't see the
beta link anymore and the primary site continues to display incorrect
and out dated information.
Following the default SDK download (from the link above) takes me to SDK
download page wiht only SDK available now is Luna. Site specifically
points me to use SDK Indigo and I'm struggling to get a decent link.
Can someone point me in the correct direction and get the information
corrected on the web page please?

If you want the current SDK then that's the 2011 version at the site you
mentioned, but the preview one, in my experience, is great. To get it go
to the main Sentinel Plugin page

Once there, click on 'Developer Kit' and download from there. I'm using
Eclipse Luna (4.4 I think, whatever was most-current in September when I
installed it after rebuilding my box) and it is working perfectly on
openSUSE 13.1; the downloads made for windows still include 3.7, though,
as that's the officially-suported version even with the 2014 Preview.
The old SDK website still applies to a large extent, though you'll see a
'PDF' link on the new preview site that includes much of the same
information, plus some new stuff. Not perfect yet as it is still in
preview, but it's coming. I have a series of CoolSolutions waiting for
approval/publishing that you may find interesting all about the new SDK
and some of its new features.

Adobe Prelude - Red Rocket Support

Hi everyone,
My company and I are trying to implement Prelude into our workflow. Primarily, we shoot w/ a Red Epic and currently are experimenting w/ batch transcoding camera rolls through Prelude using the Adobe Media Encoder dynamic link.
The question I have is this: can Media Encoder take advantage of our current G5 tower's Red Rocket card to speed up the transcoding process, and if so, how do I select it (i.e., if available, where in Prelude/Media Encoder's interface can I find this feature?)

..but no true answer has been given regarding this specific workflow.
I know Red Rocket acceleration is possible in Premiere (and that the Red Rocket card can work w/ only one program at a time)--but what about batch transcoding R3D's in Prelude through Media Encoder. I'd prefer to not use RED-CINE X as we're interested in using all of the XMP metadata features in Prelude.
For reference, the machine I'm running is the following:
MAC OS X Version 10.9.4
Processor: 2X2.26 Ghz Quad--Core Xeon
Memory: 32 GB 1066 Mhz DDR3
Mac Pro Era Early 2009
Red Rocket Card (firmware 1.1.17.3)
Adobe Creative Suite CC 2014
If anyone could advice, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can use the Red Rocket to speed up encoding in AME, but it probably won't do you much good in your specific case I'm afraid. Here's how the workflow would go:
1. Select RED files for ingest in Prelude
2. Specify destination location and preset
3. Start the batch
4. Once AME is open, stop the queue that has started automatically
5. Right-click on a job and choose "Source Settings"
6. Enable the Red Rocket
7. Go to step 5 and repeat for each job in the queue
As you can see that would be a lot of work for what may be minimal gain depending on how long it takes to encode the media with the Red Rocket turned off. Where this workflow really excels is when the source in AME is a longer form sequence such as a Prelude rough cut or a Premiere Pro sequence. I could certainly see adding a global option to always enable the Red Rocket for RED sources, but that would be a feature request, which you can submit here: Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form
I hope this helps even if it isn't exactly what you were probably hoping to here.

Action recordable CS SDK panel

I'm trying to set up a demo project where a CS SDK panel triggered script leaves a trace in the Actions palette (i.e. is recordable).
I've been successfully building a regular, recordable script appearing in the Filter's menu following this pattern. My goal is to implement a complex UI in Flex, which passes to the script the needed parameters - one history status, action recordable.
Embedding a swf in the ScriptUI isn't viable, since the supported Flex SDK version is too old to my taste ;-)
So far I've:
1. put a test_PS.jsx file, containing the requested <javascriptresource> header in /Presets/Scripts/ - plus a test routine (simple blurring) waiting for a param and the needed controls to discriminate whether or not save the param into an ActionDescriptor.
2. made the extension to read that file and call the main() routine (via HostObject.eval()) passing the param. The blurring is executed, leaving a single step trace in the History palette. But...
Even if I make the Extension's call to main (passing the params) call in turn the very same script with:

Bad installation of Java Platform Micro Edition SDK 3.0 - Can't uninstall

Hi,
I tried installing the Java Platform Micro Edition SDK 3.0 tonight and it didn't work (I guess the thing doesn't like it when you're running Win7 x64 with the latest JDK for some reason...). Anyways, it installed fine but on first run it got stuck at the nag screen with IOExceptions, etc. and never finished starting. So I decided to uninstall and guess what? I can't uninstall it because it tells me it can't run the uninstaller program since it can't load a win32 dll on a 64-bit machine...
So I resorted to deleting the folder and running a registry cleaner :/ However, so I can properly clean things up, I'd like to know where else the SDK put files or dlls and which ones.

I'm having exact the same problem, but I'm using Vista x64.
I tried to uninstall x64 version of the Java SE SDK and installed the x86 version instead, but it didn't help :/
So could please anyone post a solution to this.
EDIT: actually I at least managed to uninstall it using the SE SDK x86.
But still, is there any way to use Java ME SDK on Vista x64?

How to install j2ee 1.4 sdk , and only that nothing else

hi guys , i am trying to install j2ee 1.4 sdk. i found the link for it on sun "http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html ", and when i try to install that package . it has everything from
app sever ,to java 2 sdk std edition to start up . etc .
but i dont want all this , i just want j2ee sdk 1.4
see what actully i want is j2ee sdk installation coz when i try writing my program in eclipse and when i say import javax.jms.*; it gives error coz it is not able to find the jar.
just the way for core java we install jdk what do we install so that we can use servlet,jsp,ejb,jms etc

exactly rene , i explored all of the

downloaded " J2EE 1.4 SDK 2005Q2 UR2 " which took me
half an hour. and when i ran the setup file , it had
everthing from app server to jsdk 1.5 , but no where
was j2ee sdk to be found. still exploring without any
success :-(The "J2EE SDK" is basically nothing but the J2EE.JAR. It comes with that app server download.
