Where is product key for office 365??

on March 31, 2015 I purchased a Toshiba Satellite 15634 Laptop Intel Celeron 4GB Memory 500GB Hard Drive Jet Black online, that should have came with a free year of Microsoft office 365.  I called geeksquad several times trying to get the code...i was transfered so many times and after having to call back numerous times because I kept gettting hung up on....( no I was not rude ) and 3 hours of being on the phone I STILL couldn't get anyone to give me the code.  I was told to go to office/myaccount and register...how do i register for something I can't install??  then was told it would be in an email..and i said yes, i got the email but you need the 25 character code.  Today, I spoke to a manager after asking for one and being on hold for 23 minutes, was told that I should pay for tech support to install something that is FREE???  What???  She then said she would transfer me and well guess what...she hung up.
Can SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE??? I have not purchased anything from Best Buy in about 6 years...and guess what???  I won't ever buy anything again.  This is crazy

  • How to input MSDN Project Pro Product Key in Office 365 environment

    Hi, there
Our company just recently moved to Office 365 from Office 2013. I had to uninstall all my Office 2013 applications and re-install them from our Office 365 site. In addition to our common Office applications, I also had Project Pro 2013 installed with the
product key I obtained from my MSDN account. The Project Pro worked fine before the Office 365 transition. But after the transition, I keep getting this pop up asking me to sign in to Office 365. Since our company Office 365 suite does not provide Project,
I cannot use most of the function of my Project Pro, even though I have input my Product Key before.
Is there a way to separate out the Project Pro so it doesn't link to Office 365 Portal? Or is there a way to input my product key through Office 365 portal?
    Thanks.

You should be able to enter the Product Key for Project 2013.
    Navigate to the Control Panel.
    Select Programs
    Select Programs and Features.
Find Microsoft Project Professional in the list and single click to select it.
Click Change at the top of the list.
    Select Enter a Product Key.
    I hope this helps.

  • Where is product key for InDesign CS5 located in Mac Osx?

    Hello Adobe Community,
    So this is the context:
Our only Mac in head office is unable to boot up into OSx, I took it to the Genius bar to troubleshoot and they said to wipe the hard drive and re install OSx which is fine except that I need the InDesign CS5 product key off of it. We don't have the product key written down anywhere or the original software/box it came with and also, I don't know which email address InDesign is registered to because it was installed years before I was hired. But I am able to access the hard drive on the Mac and see all the files by booting off an OSx on my USB key. So my question is: does anyone know the file or where I can find the product key on the hard drive?
I'm hoping someone has run into a similiar problem and has a magical answer!
    Thanks in advance!

Do you still have the original proof of purchase (CS5 was released in April 2010)? E.g. check who you purchased the software through as well. Depending on the license type the supplier might even be able to assist with the S/N if they recorded it. Also if the serial number was registered against a company name, support might be able to retrieve this for you based on the domain name, but you'd need to at least have proof of purchase is my guess. (Generally they'd ask for a copy of the installer media as well to show that you have the original installer CDs/DVDs).
I'd definitely try contacting Adobe Customer Support:

  • Ip or host name of monthly activation servers for Office 365

    Hello ,
i need to know a method to activate office 365 for 4 of my company computers that are banned from internet connection .
One of the option that i may accept is tho manual specify the ip addresses or the servers name where Office is going to activate .
    Thanks .

    Hi catabej,
Could you tell me what version of Office 365 are you using? If you have product key to activate it. Or you can activate Office 365 on phone, choose the telephone option in the Activation Wizard to get the phone number to contact in
    your country.

  • How to find product key for Microsoft Office 2010?

I purchased an HP Pavilion dv6 a couple of years ago. At the time of purchase I also ordered a license for Microsoft Office 2010. The laptop came with Office already installed, and everything worked great for years.
Earlier this week I had to do a full system restore to get my laptop back in working order. I backed up all of my user files, found installers or original installation media for all of my software except for Office, and proceeded with the system restore.
I just got everything running again this morning. The system restore put a clean copy of the OS on my laptop, but Microsoft Office is gone. I've just about finished re-installing all of the other software, but I need some help with Office.
Since my laptop didn't come with installation media for Microsoft Office 2010 I'm trying to donwload it from here:
    https://www2.downloadoffice2010.microsoft.com/usa/registerkey.aspx?culture=en-US&ref=pkc
It asks for a product key for Office 2010 in order to start the download. The product key for Microsoft Windows is on the bottom of my computer, but I can't find a product key for Office. (Before anyone asks, yes, this is the full version of Office 2010, and yes, I paid for it at the time of purchase of the laptop.) I kept all of the paperwork that came with the computer, but I can't find the Office product key anywhere in that packet. Is there somewhere else I should be looking for my product key?
Better yet, does HP still have a copy of my original purchase order for this laptop, and do they store product keys for the products they sell?
    Thanks,
    Tom

Neither HP nor Microsoft keep a record of the key that was issued.  If you cannot find it in your documentation or emails I'm afraid you are out of luck and would have to purchase another key.

  • How to retrieve Microsoft Office Product Key  for Mac

Hi there, Hopefully someone might have a suggestion on how to retrieve the Microsoft Office Product Key for Office 2010 on Mac.
Scenario:  Last month, Apple advised me my iMac hard drive may be faulty and would need replacing.  That was done, I restored my iMac from Timeline backup and everything is dandy except I need the Product Key for Office to access any of my documents.  I purchased the product online in my old job, that email address is now no longer valid and I have lost access to the email that the product key was emailed to me in.  I am unable to retrieve the product key from Microsoft without buying a new copy.
I do have Office uploaded on my Macbook Air from the same download/product key, so I have access to the program on the laptop but not the iMac.  Hopefully I can get the product key from the laptop somehow.
Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks :-)

As Office is not an Apple product, I strongly recommend asking in the Microsoft Office:Mac forums here:
    Office for Mac forums
Everyone there is a Mac user AND an Office user, something you can't say about Apple's forums. You will get the fastest help there and I think you will find the contributors more than helpful.

  • Reinstall Office - where is product key?

When we purchased our HP Envy 17 in May 2012, it came with Microsoft Office.  We recently had to do a fix on our laptop that required us to uninstall Office and now we need to reinstall it.  We have all the Office files in our back up but we can't find a setup file.  How can we reinstall office?  Do we need to download again from Microsoft with a product key # and if yes, where would we get find the product key # for our laptop since Office was already installed on the laptop when we got it from HP?

You don't get MS Office for free it comes as a 30 day trial and after that you either buy it or uninstall it. And if you purchased MS Office with it you should've gotten the package that had Office Product Key with it. You need to go back and look at your receipt from 2012 when you bought your laptop and see what was all in the package and if MS Office was purchased as separate and installed onto it. MS Office comes as a install on a CD/DVD media or a link that you were given at the time you bought MS Office that you can download in some instances. So go back and find your receipt and see what it says and don't say. If there is no info that a MS Office was installed then you were only using the 30 day trial MS Office - the Activiated Office is only possible with a Product that comes with Office when you buy MS Office it doesn't come as part of the Windows O/S those are two separate programs.

  • Where are stored the data settings of Project Pro for Office 365?

    Hi,
I'm using Project Pro for Office 365 connected to Project Online. Where are stored the settings we saved in

    Thanks

I believe it is stored in the registry setting:

  • Where do I find the product key for win XP?

    hI
    I am new here.
I just purschased a Lenovo SL500 from Hemini.
I have a question that they wouldn't answer for me. Hopefully someone of you can.
My laptop came with windows XP installed and with CDs for installing Vista.
I chose to stay with XP.
The Windows sticker underneath the laptop is for Vista => the 25 digit Product Key it has on it is for Vista and won't work for "validating" my Windows XP and Windows Office software.
Nowhere in the package did I find any mention of a product key for the XP.
Please help me as to what I should do now.
    Thank you.

    Hi Oingk,
Most [maybe all] computer manufacturers use volume license key to install and activate Windows:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volume_license_key
Preinstalled Windows OSes from lenovo come already activated, it's surprising that yours is not activated. I suggest contacting lenovo CS.
In case you did a clean install then you should have created recovery discs for XP first, these discs contain an image of preinstalled Windows [pre-activated] and other lenovo software:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-68317
As for Microsoft Office, the version bundled with thinkpads is trial unless specifically ordered a license during purchase.
    Hope it helps.

  • Retrieve product key for preinstalled MS Office

Is it possible to retrieve the product key for preinstalled MS Office 2007 Home & Student, after I've done a System Recovery? I recovered via the factory image partition, not the recovery disks (if it makes a difference).Perhaps the recovery disks include all pre-installed software as well; the factoryimage partition didn't, from what I can see.
I can supply model product number, serial number, MS Windows product ke (if that helps). Thanks.

I'm afraid you are out of luck if you did not keep record of the key when you got it.  Factory restore erases everything including the key.  Check in your documentation or invoices if it is recorded there.  HP does not keep record of those keys and Microsoft will be of no help either.  You may download the Office software but without the key it will not activate.

  • HT201272 Where do I get the serial number and product key for the version of AutoCAD LT for Mac that I bought from the ITunes store?

Where do I get the serial number and product key for the version of AutoCAD LT for Mac that I bought from the ITunes store?

The iTunes Store doesn't sell software for the Mac. I presume you mean the Mac App Store. To the best of my knowledge, no software sold in the Mac App Store has serial numbers nor product keys. For what reason do you think you need them?

  • "project pro for office 365

I was eagerly looking for a project management software and fortunately came across your office project pro 365 product
While looking up on the website office, I had some questions rising concerning
the “project pro for office 365” – 25 dollars/per user/ per month option
It is mentioned that it can be installed on up to 5 pcs.
Here are some questions I would like you to answer to help my purchase. (FYI I am planning to share this software with a team of 5 people)
Does that mean that if I pay 25 dollars, me and my other 4 team mates will have equal access and manipulation of the software(insert/edit)?
Or is it only one person getting some sort of ID and password that give access to Cloud and other 4 people just having the right to view the files(such as Gantt chart etc.)
I was informed that if I go with this option I will have to take
“project online” to have a cloud subscription(extra 33dollars). Is that correct?
If a get an ID and Password, will it be on a single designated PC or doesn’t it matter far as it is among the 5 pcs where the software is installed?
Do you have any other options to recommend considering we are a group of 5 people and want at least 2 people to have the right to have access to the software and be able to write or edit while the other 3 members can view the
    shared files of charts?
Thank you for your answer in advance!

    However, to answer the questions...
    1. That is upto 5 PCs for a single user, not spread across multiple users.
    2. One user gets one ID.
    3. No, Project Online is a separate product.
    4. It doesn't matter.  You can log into one of 5 PCs and install Project Pro for 0365.  If you no longer have access to a PC, you can "de-activate" it using the web, and then install on another.
    5.  Buy 5 licences.

  • CodeTwo Backup for Office 365 - local backup and recovery of mailboxes

Yesterday wasn't a great day for Office 365: http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/1069483-today-was-not-a-good-day-to-migrate-our-senior-managem...Luckily, downtime is a rare occurrence in the Office 365 world. But as an Office 365 admin you have other forces working against you – mailbox size limits, reckless users, scarce licenses, regulations requiring local storage of documents… Am I forgetting something? That’s why CodeTwo developed an offline backup tool for Office 365 mailboxes. CodeTwo Backup for Office 365 lets you download your users’ data to a local drive, preview backed up items in full detail and restore mailboxes, folders and single items – current or previous versions. Here’s a video overview of the application:

I don't suspect a problem with your approach, but if you don't mind overkill, this would be very safe::
    uninstall dirsync, delete the db
    extend the schema
reinstall dirsync (get the newest version) and let it
    soft-match everyone.
Your specific questions (I have not tested the below, but assume it to be true):
    >>AD schema extension will not break our Office 365 production
    environment
I don't believe the dirsync installer makes any decisions based on the AD schema definition.  I'd think you will need to do a FULL SYNC (reg
key) once you're done. with the extension, but this doesn't break users.
    >>new attributes will sync to the office 365 environment with a null value (by default)
I don't think this will happen.  The absence of the attributes today would be similar to "null".
