Where is RegDataGen directory?

Hi,
I'm using B1DE 2.0 to build an add-on for SAP B1 2007A SP01 using VS2008 on Vista SP2.
To create an installer for my add-on, I choose: New Project > Visual Basic > SAP B1 AddOnInstaller .NET Wizard.
Then, I have a configuration window with the following fields: Application Name, Version, Estimated Installation Time, Estimated Uninstallation Time, Restart needed after installation and RegDataGen directory.
Where can I find the RegDataGen directory?  It is not under C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Development Environment\Tools (the Tools directory doesn't exist).
I can't find the file AddOnRegDataGen.exe anywhere on my hard disk.  Is there something wrong in the B1DE setup?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Pieter Verhaeghe

Hi Pieter,
The Tools folder and AddOnRegDataGen.exe application are created when the SDK is installed. By default, the path should be:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Tools\
If you don't have the SDK installed then it can be found in the Packages folder on the original installation DVD and it is included in each new patch.
Kind Regards,
Owen

  • Where is my Directory Location in my HHD ?

    when we do this :-
    CREATE DIRECTORY log_dir AS '/appl/gl/log';
    where suppose can i find this[b] directory '/appl/gl/log' in my Hard Disk ?!

    logical database directory when created goes directly to the oracle database and does not automatically creates the operating system physical directory you have to create the physical directory if that does not exist on the machine/server as to where your oracle database is installed at.
                    |          |
                    | DBServer |
                    |   unix   |
                   /     |      \
                  /      |       \
                 /       |        \
      |          |  |          |  |          |
      |   PC 1   |  |   PC 2   |  |   PC 2   |
      |ms windows|  |ms windows|  |  mac os  |
    assuming that you have the typical client server architecture illustrated above. on the upper level shows the server which is running on a unix operating system represents the machine as to where the oracle database is installed. on the second level shows the clients PC 1 and PC 2 are running on a windows operating system while PC 2 runs on a mac operating system.
    physical directory such as the /appl/gl/log should be created on the dbserver as the server where the oracle database is installed. it is in that machine where the physical directory is accessed by the oracle database.

  • Where does "Library" directory location belong.

    Where does Library directory location belong.  Had to move things around and not sure it got back in the right place.. /Users/forister/Documents .. forister is the administrator and only user now after trying out profiles.
    Then I wanted to install something and it said to put it in this location, but it isn't working.  Did I screw it up?
    New Mac user.
    thanks.

    "~/Library" refers to a folder (directory) in your home folder, not in /System/ or elsewhere. (The tilde is UNIX shorthand for the current user's home folder.)
    You haven't said which version of OS X you are using but if it is Snow Leopard (10.6.x) or older, ~/Library should be visible in Finder views of your home folder (the one with the house icon). If you are using Lion, you won't see it there but you will see it from the "Go" menu if you hold down the option key when you click on that menu.
    Another way to get to the folder in Finder is to type Command + Shift + G, then type "~/Library/Services" (without the quotes) & press the Go button.
    As the Read Me for QuickFiles says, you may have to create the Services folder in ~/Library/ if it doesn't already exist. To do that, open ~/Library/ & type Command + Shift + N, then type "Services" to name the untitled folder, then press return.

  • Where is the directory of Skype wi-fi hotspots?

    I don't seem able to find the directory of Skype wi-fi hotspots. Can anyone point me to it?
    This information is needed not just by customers signed up for the service, but more generally, to evaluate the usability of the service in a pre-sales context.
    At first sight, a million plus hotspots for the entire globe sounds a very low, almost insignificant, number, but in some countries there may also be a large and increasing number of non-Skype unlocked and subscription wi-fi hotspots that one can use for Skype.
    It would also be interesting to know of any studies conducted on the availability of all publicly accessible wi-fi hotspots in the countries of the world, both in major cities, and more remote populated areas.
    This is clearly a salient issue for anyone thinking of buying a portable device mainly with a view to using Skype in the field, which would obviously be an extremely attractive facility to have, where it is available.

    Hi, Aristotle91,

  • Where is the directory created?

    I have create a directory with the following command:
    create or replace directory '/tmp/';
    Where this directory created?

    See correct syntax there:
    http://www.mcs.csueastbay.edu/support/oracle/doc/10.2/server.102/b14200/statements_5007.htm
    The statement creates a database object, not a operating system object/folder. The database directory object is not validated, it is just object pointing to some operating system folder, does this folder exist or not does not matter for database, it creates the database object only.
    You must create in operating system the folder yourself. This command doens't create the OS folder.

  • Where to define directory used by UTL_FILE?

    I run Oracle 9.2 on Windows 2003 Server. I would like to create a trigger to write to an ascii file. So I would like to do something like:

    ORA-20000: ERROR: Invalid path for file or path not in INIT.ORA.I looked for all the INIT.ORA on disk and they seem to be binary.

    copy this file on your local desktop unzip it using winzip and add the driver jar to this
    make the entry of your driver jar file in provider.xml file and  again zip the folder

  • Where in Photoshop directory do I unzip the following file

    Hi,
    I found some royalty free frames on the internet that I used before, but I reinstalled my Adobe Photoshop CS due to computer problems, and can't remember where I extract the file to. The link is as follows:
    http://gimei.deviantart.com/art/15-illustration-frames-61296653
    It's the 15 ornate frames downloaded in a .zip file. I have Win 7. Please help. Thanks in advance.

    It's a psd file with frames on different layers, so it doesn't install in any specific place for photoshop.
    Just unzip the file in the place of your choosing, open the psd in photoshop and drag a frame over to
    the photo you want to use it on.

  • Where is the directory for the hard drive?

    Yesterday I bought my first Apple product since my iPod Touch (2nd generation) -- the new Mac Mini. Using Migration Assistant, I moved a huge amount of files from my Win 7 PC. The problem is I cannot find any of it. When I use Spotlight, I can find documents, but cannot find where each resides on the HD. My daughter is an avid Mac user and she was mystified when she didn't see the name of the computer in the upper righthand corner of the menu bar.
    Any ideas where I can find the contents of the HD?

    Hi, & a warm welcome to the forums & Macdom.
    To get you started, I'd get Find Any File...
    http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/
    It will show you the path to files you search for.
    Most Migrated files would be in your User's folder, & likely Documents within that.

  • Question about Blender 2.46 package...where is "~/.blender" directory?

    Hi, I installed Blender 2.46.
    And I tried to customize of theme of the Blender.
    I would like to use my original theme setting that used in Blender 2.45.
    But, I can not find the directory "~/.blender".
    On Zenwalk Linux, Blender 2.46 has ~/.blender directory.
    Humm, I don't know what is wrong.
    regards.

    koro wrote:Hi, I installed Blender 2.46.

    As the two versions have different default preferences if you didn't want to copy them, you could have used the File>Export>Save Current Theme... and run the theme script in a fresh blend file.
    koro wrote:But, how about the icon theme?
    In Blender 2.45, put the icon directory that contains the icon image file(PNG) into ~/.blender directory.
    The Icons file should be placed in ~/.blender/icons/ (you'll need to create the directory).

  • Where is a Directory Server tuning Guide's document

    I would like to know that tuning point(attirbute : nsslapd-dbcache and else. .etc..) 's exact mean and recommend's value.

    One "interesting" and sometimes counterintuitive aspect of the cache size configuration attributes are that they set limits not on the space used, but on the space Directory Server has to play with.
    As mentioned in the Caching chapter ( http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6697-10/caching.html ), for DB cache, you have somewhere around 25% of the space requested that goes to managing the cache.
    For entry cache, you set the size Directory Server asks of the memory allocation library. If you're using a memory allocation library that hangs on to extra space, and if you have lots of small attributes on your entries, the amount of memory that gets devoted to managing the actual memory you want to use can be a relatively large percentage of the whole.
    A big reason we recommend setting total cache size to 2 GB on 32-bit systems for the Directory Server process -- note that 5.2 has 64-bit wide cache support on Solaris and HP-UX so if you need it, you can go way, way over 2 GB -- is because some, potentially widely variable amount of memory is needed to manage all the memory available to use. You can work closer to the limit if you take time to benchmark, and if you are well aware of how high your peaks are going to be. But on the other hand, we don't want anybody out there getting themselves in trouble because they worked it all out on paper to fit in 3.7 GB, did little or no benchmarking, and expected no problems when they put their Directory Server into production.
    Hope all that is of some use.
    What do you find more appropriate in the recommendations in the 4.x docs? (Maybe we'll be able to fix it in a future version of the docs.)
    Thanks for your help,
    Mark

  • How to find out where the project directory is located

    I can't get Flex 2.0 to see my class library. I have been
    going to property and adding a source path --- it doesn't
    work.

    Thanks Tracy,
    I don't mind being barked at --- it helps me learn --- I
    assure I have no wish to rearrange the way these forums work ---
    but I'm a little dense at the forward part of the learning curve.
    Not being able to get Flex to work I thought I'd try to see
    if plain old Flash would clarify the problem for me for Flex. I
    really want to use Flex and not Flash. So, I get an extra clue as
    to what I'm doing wrong. You'll see it if you can open the attached
    (.fla, .as, a set of classes files named (ASCB3Library)) files. I''
    suffer another bark or more if you'll help. Thanks either way.
    1. .fla file has nothing in it except a reference the the .as
    file named gsaras.as. Here it is:
    package {
    import flash.display.Sprite;
    import ascb.drawing.Pen;
    public class gsaras extends Sprite {
    public function gsaras() {
    gsaras.graphics.lineStyle(1,0,1);
    gsaras.graphic.lineTo(300,200);
    var pen:Pen = new Pen(gsaras.graphics);
    pen.drawArc(100,100,50,80,20, true);
    The classes file contains a package named drawing.Pen.as.
    I wish I could attach them but don't know how.

  • How to tell iTunes where my podcasts directory sits?

    I like to keep music and podcasts in different directories .../My Documents/My Music and .../My Podcasts, resp.).
    However, when I define a new podcast in iTunes it is automatically placed in (.../My Documents/My Music/Podcasts/<podcast-title>.
    How do I teach iTunes to download new episodes to .../My Documents/My Podcasts/<podcast-title> instead?
    Michael

    Meg's correct. I've submitted feedback to Apple on this. I'd like to see different settings for music, podcasts, TV/Movies, and audiobooks. TV/Movies, especially, though. I know it can be done, because Apps have their own folder, even though it is hardcoded right now.

  • Where is the iPhoto directory?

    My apologies if this simple question is too simple. I have combed all of the cryptic resources here and cannot find the answer.
    When syncing my 3GS to iTunes, a pop-up advises that my "photos cannot be synced because the directory cannot be found."
    Where is the directory supposed to be located, and how can I remedy this pop-up.
    Oddly, there is not a Photos tab in iTunes as alluded to in some of the other posts.
    Thanks - Jeff

    No photos are synced - not photos transferred from your computer, or photos captured by the iPhone.
    iTunes does not handle importing photos that were captured by the iPhone or photos in the iPhone's camera roll. Photos in the camera roll are included with the iPhone's backup as the first step during the iTunes sync process, but that is it.
    Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone - selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes is a one way transfer process only - from your computer to your iPhone.
    To the OP - when you select your iPhone in the iTunes source list under Devices, which tabs are available for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?

  • How do I enable opening firefox from two different computers sharing the same home directory without having to delete a lock file (linux).

    I just don't want to have to delete a lock file - which has a purpose - in order to use firefox simultaneously from two locations on the network - where the home directory, i.e. .mozilla directory - is located

    You need to use two separate profiles if you want to have two Firefox instances open at the same time.
