Where is Registry installer file in SOA Suite installer file?

I can't find Registry installer within SOA Suite installer file. Who know how to downlaod or install it?

It's not part of the soa suite.
You should download it seperate from

  • Is service registry a part of SOA suite?

    Hi,
It is a bit unclear to me if service registry is a part of SOA Suite.
According to the SOA suite homepage (http://www.oracle.com/technologies/soa/soa-suite.html) it is not a SOA suite component.
However it is mentioned in the description of this SOA Suite forum(http://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=13) and also on the homepage of SOA suite installation.
There are also some contradicting posts in this forum.
    Can anyone clarify this issue?
    TIA

    Hi,
The UDDI registry is part of the SOA architecture. It is however a separate download and installation in respect to the Oracle SOA Suite package.
    Kind regards,

in the upgrade set, check the disk1/install/soa_scheme_upgrade directory.
Under that art scripts to upgrade the BPEL and ESB schemas from earlier versions to 10.1.3.4. Execute those with the correct credentials for each schema.

Please share me the Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0 and OSB installation setup.

I could able to find in Oracle site only the latest SOA version [11.1.1.6.3] not the older versions.
    Thanks,

    Pradeep,
You may find 11.1.1.5 installable at https://edelivery.oracle.com
It is recommended to use latest version available though.

  • SOA SUITE installation in Vista

    Hi
I am trying to install Soa Suite 10.1.3.1 in vista OS.
    I get the following error
    Checking OS versions: must be 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2 . Actual 6.0
    Failed
But my colleagues are able to install it without any problem. ( in vista 6.0 )
Pleaes help me to resolve this issue
    Thanks

Have found 2 ways to get this working.
One is when installation fails, Vista pops up saying run with recommended settings.
Use that option and you will have the installation fireup for you.
But if that is not some thing that you see, then you should try the second option.
Go to the directory where you have your SOA install files.
    Go into the directory install
    Find a file oraparam.ini
You need to edit this file to fire up the setup.
You should find some thing like this there around line 37
    *[Certified Versions]
#You can customise error message shown for failure, provide value for CERTIFIED_VERSION_FAILURE_MESSAGE
    Windows=5.0,5.1,5.2*
Add anothe entry for 6.0 and fireup the setup.
    The updated file should have
    *[Certified Versions]
#You can customise error message shown for failure, provide value for CERTIFIED_VERSION_FAILURE_MESSAGE
    Windows=5.0,5.1,5.2,6.0*
Be sure to follow all the pre-installation and post-installation steps.
If you don't you might face issues in setting up SOA.
I am still creating a blog of all the issues that I faced, or my friends faced and how I solved them.
Should find that some time soon.

  • Service Registry containend in SOA Suite?

    Bonjour!
I just downloaded and installed Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 plus patch set 10.1.3.3. But now I wonder whether the Oracle Service Registry is really contained in the suite (as said in the documentation) and how I can configure it? Is there any graphical frontend available?
    Thanks for any hints.
Edit: The Oracle SOA Suite Page (http://www.oracle.com/technologies/soa/soa-suite.html) also says that it would contain Oracle BAM -- but where would I find it after the installation?

    Hi
You still need to install the uddi seperate.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/soa/uddi/index.html
After installing it you will get a few urls where you can manage all your services.

  • How to backup all database settings and data for SOA suite to file(s) ?

During the installation of the SOA Suite a couple of tables and schemas are created
in Oracle database through the irca.bat script.
Later the tables are filled with content by all the servers and services of the
    SOA Suite.
How can I backup all these tables and SOA related stuff to one (or more)
files (for a possible later restore)?
This backup should contain only SOA Suite related tables and data.
Possible other tables (for other applications) should not be considered.
Is there a script (e.g. for sqlplus) or menu which does the
SOA database backup job for me ?
If there is no official backup script maybe someone in this forum
    wrote a personal script.
    Thank you
    Peter

I am facing the same problem.
I have spend a few days to configure and train my Sony tablet to configure for all my remotes such as aircon and lighting. I did a backup using the Sony companion to my PC. When my tablet was faulty and serviced. But the backup did not recover the IR remote settings and codes which I programmed previously. I also tried your backup restore app but it also does not save the configuration.
It is VERY IMPORTANT for me to backup the settings.
Please provide the folders and path of where the IR REMOTE settings and personal configuration and codes trained were kept so that I could back them up. Are these path protected area that required rooted access?
Hope that Sony could update the app to include backup of new trained codes and settings and in the meantime to provide a procedure of how to backup the setting and trained IR codes with or without rooting the device.

  • Using Oracle Service Registry without SOA Suite

I am trying to use the Oracle Service Registry without having SOA Suite as all I want is to simply publish a web service for an experiment.
    I have :
    JDeveloper 10.1.3.3
    Oracle Database 10g
Getting problem in Installing Service Registry. Do I need to run a script to make UDDI schema, or table space, or database in advance?
Installation is not getting the directory for OAS Home. Now where is the OAS HOMe?
    .../JDeveloper/jdev/ ?
    .../Oracle10g/
    .../jdeveloper\jdev\system\oracle.j2ee.10.1.3.41.57\embedded-oc4j ?
Its not accepting any of them. Where does OAS resides?

If all you have is Jdeveloper and database you do not have an OAS Oracle home, you will need to install OAS separately. It is also possible that you can just install standalone oc4j rather than a full blown OAS to install SR into, check the install guide
If I remember correctly the database schema is created as part of the SR install.

  • Installation issue- Oracle SOA Suite 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.x)

    Hi,
I am installating (basic installation) Oracle SOA Suite 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.x), I have Vista OS. Configuration assisstant ran successfully till (App server, ESB, BPEL prcoess manager) it reached to Web Services Manager. It threw up following error-

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Andre,
I am a newbee in this field and I could not understand your question. Can you please explain? I downloded Oracle JDeveloper to design BPEL processes and trying to install Oracle SOA suite for BPEL process manager, that is where I hit this road block.

Please let me know how i can i get out of this error.
    Thanks
    vishnu kumar

    Hi,
check for some spaces or character which might be going while you specify the JRE locations, alternatively you can call runInstaller with
-jreLoc ,i.e;have the path in the cmd.
    ./runInstaller -jreLoc /root/Oracle/Middleware/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32
    which should work.
