Where is Safari for Mac Download now?

about a month ago,my Safari Icon wouldnt bounce and had a big" ? " on it.
So i figured,Delete it,go to the safari website and re-download it and re install it.
So I deleted it......deleted it from everywhere
NOW.....i go to Safaris website and EVERYTHING i see is for Windows
its all .exe files
where is the good old .dmg file
i just want to bring Safari back,but i cant find the appropriate file.

The dock icon may be corrupt. Try opening Safari from your Applications folder. If it works there, go back to the dock and remove the Safari icon. Then, single-click on Safari.app in the Applications folder and drag it to the dock.
Also, important to "repair permissions" after reinstalling Safari via Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.

Don't tell me to use Software Update either, because that would imply the browser is bundled tightly with Mac OS, which would be "Monopolistic" (sound familiar? MS/IE). Hey, I'm just pointing out the obvious.
Besides, this Mac does not have Safari installed (Software Update is useless in that case) and I don't have the software restore CDs. Just want Safari. For Mac. Download-able.

Safari 3.0.4 is automatically installed when upgrading to OS 10.4.11 or Leopard 10.5 or 5.1. Safari 3.0.4 will not run in 10.4.10 or lower. Which version of OS X are you using?
The Combo Updates for 10.4.11 are found:

I looked in the Apple page but without any success... And other websites only have Tiger or Leopard version.

Scroll to the very top of this page. See where it says 'Downloads' Click it. It will take you to Apples download page and right there on front is the download and info on Safari's latest version 3.1.2.

My Safari browser is not working well. Junk pages keep poping in and key pages for me appear intoxicated by alien pop ups preventing me navigate that page. Updated last Safari version and problem prevailed. Tried downloading Safari for Mac OS X Mavericks.

The pop ups are malware. It's not necessary to reinstall Safari.

Just so you are aware, on a Mac running Mavericks, the only way to reinstal Safari to to restore OS X using OS X Recovery

I downloaded Firefox 5.0 for Mac and now every time I want to open Firefox, I get a window warning me about downloading from the internet andwon't let me open until I answer.

Not able to post a new topic to Discussions Safari Safari for Mac

Hi, I'm new to Apple Discussions, but not new to posting to forums.
Currently I'm not able to post to Discussions>Safari>Safari for Mac. I can login, view all post threads, create and save a draft, preview the draft, but cannot post the draft to Discussions>Safari>Safari for Mac.
However I am able to post to a different category; Discussions>Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger>Using Mac OS X Tiger. See posting "This is a test. Please do not reply to this post".
When I try to post to Discussions>Safari>Safari for Mac I get pushed to another web link and system message as follows;

Currently when I open the category Discussions>Safari>Safari for Mac, I see an error message that reads;

An error in the system has occured. Please contact the system administrator if the problem persists.
I have searched for a link to "contact the system administrator", but cannot find it.
I get around the Safari for Mac category error message by clicking on 'next' and it then displays the current threads.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a bonus issue I'd like to resolve asap, to get to my original issue with Safari 4.1 crashing.

You will have to reinstall OS X. In the future ignore such things. Don't click on any links or dial any phone numbers. They are all phishing scams.
Deleting Safari was not a solution.

There is no such Trojan or other malware known today that will do that using OS X nor has there ever been one. The most probable explanation is that somebody hacked into your e-mail account on the server, so you should change that password to something stronger right away. If it had come from your Mac then there would almost certainly be copies of those messages in your Sent Mail mailbox.

Opening Safari for Mac Web Archives in Safari for Windows???

I need to open Safari for Mac Web Archives (saved html web pages on a Mac) on my Windows PC at work. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this? The original Web Pages are no longer available and the data in the Archives is the only set left.
I've tried opening the files with Safari for Windows but that doesn't work. I've also tried renaming the web archives from file.webarchive to file.html and that doesn't work either.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions for accomplishing this task??? Thanks in advance for your help!

If you can move your archives to a Mac I think you can convert them to folders with Webarchive Folderizer and then move back to your pc:

Most Adobe software is written for one of two platforms, Mac or PC. In order to switch platforms you need to be using the most current version, so CS4 would not be supported for making this switch. Here is a link to a page that explains the requirements for switching platforms....

Hi pascal, Welcome to Apple's Users Help Users Forums.
On your install disc you will see a package looking file that when clicked on will allow separate installation of several apps including Safari. When installed it will be for the OS on the disc. Then do a 10.4.8 Combo Update to bring Safari up to the current version. You may also want to apply the 008 Security Update.

Mac OS X: Setting up Login, Startup items

Log in as the user who wishes to have a login item or as an admin user.
Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
Choose Accounts from the View menu.
Click the name of the user.
Mac OS X 10.3.x: Click the Startup Items button.
Mac OS X 10.4 or later: Click the Login Items button.
Click the "Add {+}" button.
The item you selected will automatically open the next time you log in.
