Where is samplerate converter in logic

where is the sample rate converter in lp 8? previously in lp 7 it was there in audio editor

I wonder if this was the same conversation they had about the "close float window" key command. But I digress.
There was a thread on LPH recently where someone wanted to prepare single-cycle waveforms for a wavetable synth. The waveforms needed to be exactly 4096 samples long, and we figured out that if a certain pitch was downsampled to a certain sample rate that he could get single-cycle waveforms that would work for him. So after postulating about the procedure, the math involved, etc., he went to the L8 digital factory, only to post back, "uh, where's the sample rate conversion thing you were talking about"?

    i tried entering the logical system for the BPM in adapter specific attributes but it says logical system is already being used by some other service..
    So i tried header mapping in receiver agreement now the messages are failed at the intital stage before entering the BPM only only saying cannnot find recvr agreement..
    My sender system BS_EXT_100
    BPM IP_calldoc
    Recvr system BS_EDCR/3_200
    i did the header mapping for recvr agreement of BPM by selecting the sender service and entering "BS_EXT_100"

    I have one doubt, where I can define the logical system name in File to Idoc scenario.
    I created Logical system for R/3 system in SALE t.code, but where to define the Third party logical system ,
    In SALE or any where.
    Please give me solution.

    Hi Shalini,
    You need to create Business system in SLD and import the business system in ID.Then u will start with the configuration.

  • BI 7.0,  BDLS is not converting all logical systems for datasources

    Hello all,
    We have refreshed an ECC system, and during the post steps in BI, we were running into issues.
    We've ran BDLS to convert the logical system from ECCCLNTXXX to ECCCLNTYYY, but it's was not converting for several datasources.
    One in particular was causing several problems, and terminating the conversion.
    0FC_CI_01.  It is still hanging on to the old logical system.  BDLS terminates with the following information:
    Short text:
    Active version of emulated 3.x DataSource 0FC_CI_01 cannot...
    Basically, the exact symptom of Note 936644.
    Eventually, through a series of trials, we discovered we could assign non-active sourcesystem/logical system combinations to the objects.  As a result, we deleted the source systems entirely, ran BDLS to the ECCCLNTYYY, then recreated the sources.
    This finally worked.  What I need now is a root cause.  Why would BI refuse to change the logical system of an object to an active one, but have no problem with an inactive?

    Mike,
    After running BDLS, you need to replicate the source system in BW, change the contents of the target host and fields for all R/3 and Data Mart(note 184754). Update the target BW system name in table T000 using SM30. Change logical system name in all BW tables using BDLS (note 325525)
    Refer to the below doc for detail. Also refer to note 886102.

    Below note talks about similar issue.

  • Where can I find a logic board for iMac G5 17" (EMC No. 1989) Apple Part

    HI  Where can I find a logic board for iMac G5 17" (EMC No. 1989) Apple Part #: 661-3290, 661-3351?

    Thanks--makes life easier!
    I found DV Warehouse has a number of G5 logic boards but none had the exact model number:
    http://www.dvwarehouse.com/iMac-G5-Logic-Board-c-4771.html&pltid=05fedd9f246e2a1 dbc9f35cd6712e781
    They have a toll-free number. You could ask if another board # would be compatible.
    Another option is to contact recylers or schools shucking off older gear. Using the enigma of " A used computer is worth more parted out," you might be able to pick up another G5 cheaper than its LB. Unless the LB had the dreaded "leaky capacitor" failure, most computers don't get discarded for a bad LB.

  • Where can I purchase a Logic Board for a 24" Apple Cinema Display?

    My 24" Cinema Display started to flicker and black out shortly after I purchased my most recent MacBook Pro.  Apple felt that the issue was the MacBook Pro so they replaced it.  The problem continued so they suggested I take the Cinema Display to the Genius Bar.  The display was out of warranty and the Apple Genius felt the issue was a bad display even after I told him I smelt silicon burning just before it went out completely.  He said that he could "depot" the unit and have it repaired for ~$600.  Due to the high cost of repair, I chose to purchase a new Thunderbolt Display instead.  Recently, I opened the old Cinema Display and found that the Logic Board is fried.  I have ordered a new board from 2 different Web retailers.  Both accepted the purchase as "in stock" but then stated they could not get the board from Apple.  Where can I purchase the Logic Board for a 24" Apple Cinema Display?
    Many thanks!

    I was very interested to read this document.  I think there is a problem with the Cinema Display and that it is frying the computer.
    My husband bought each of us a macbook pro.  His was hooked up to the cinema display.  After about a year, his MBP started to suffer intermittent failures where it would suddenly shut off and have to be hard rebooted.  After 2 years, the power or logic board on his MBP completely failed. He bought a new MBP and a Thunderbolt display, and I inherited his Cinema Display for use with my original MBP.
    After one month of use with the cinema display, my MBP started to have the same problems.  It has to be hard rebooted almost every time I disconnect or reconnect with the cinema display.  I went to the Genius bar, and they confirmed that my MBP logic board needs to be replaced; I'm just holding out until spring break to take it back in, as they say it may take a week.  Fortunately, I have AppleCare for my MBP.
    Our cinema display is 3-4 years old, but it looks like, even though it appears to be working, I should probably get rid of it.  I can't keep frying computers!
    I'm posting this because I'm wondering how many others are experiencing this problem.

  • How to convert a Logical Standby DB to a Primary

    Hi,
    I have an issue with our Data Guarded cluster (two nodes, one Primary and one Logical Standby Oracle 10i DBs running on HP-UX 11.23)
    The issue is that for some reasons the Primary and the Standby are out of sync in terms of archive log sequences.
    For instance the primary shows:

    But the STANDBY shows in the alert log:

    Hi
    Problem seems different then post heading."How to convert a logical standby to primary" stepts are follow.
    On primary site.
    1.On primary site "alter database prepare to switchover to logical standby".
    2.On standby site "alter database prepare to switchover to parimary;
    3.Check "select switchover_status from v$database to both sites.
    4.At primary site When status becomes to_standby then "alter database commit to switchover to logical stanedby".
    5.At stndby site "alter database commit to switchover to parimary".
    6.After successfully switchover at new logical standby site "alter database stard logical standby apply".
    For you problem ,Can you paste following from standby site.
    1.select applied_sequence#,last_sequence# V$logstdby_progress.
    2.select * from V$logstdby_stats
    3.select * from v$archived_log
    Also from primary site,
    1.select * from v$log.

  • Where's my converted file? Adobe Case Update : 0184303093 : Srinivasan B

    Hi. I just signed up for Adobe CreatePDF and have sent two files to you via Adobe desktop printer. However, I don't see the converted files in my account. When I send a file to you to be converted to a PDF, where does the converted file go? How can I get a copy of it, or see if it's even been done. What gives? Thanks, Chris

    Hi Chris,
    Try logging into http://createpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html with your Adobe ID and password. Your converted files should be available there.
    Sorry for the confusion.

  • Can you convert a Logical standby to a Physical Standby?

    Is it possible to convert a Logical Standby database back to a Physical Standby database? The reason I am asking is that I would like to convert my Physical Standby database to a Logical Standby database, do a rolling upgrade from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.2 then convert the standby back to a Physical. Does anyone know if this is possible?

    I would consider logging a TAR with Oracle support for suggestions.
    Here's mine:
    Install 10.2.0.2 into new, separate Oracle homes(10.2.0.1 & 10.2.0.2 patch & CPU2006Apr & 4516865 patch) on Prime and SB Nodes.
    Create a New 10.2.0.2 database.
    Then transport the tablespaces from Old Primary to New Primary.(short downtime)
    Drop current DR Configuration.
    Stop and Drop the 10.2.0.1 databases, then rename the 10.2.0.2 to same SID as old one (short downtime) .
    Search for and follow the "create standby with minimal downtime" document from metalink.(use "minimal" as search string).
    Your Total downtime should now only be a few minutes.
    Test the whole idea first though, using 'toy' sized databases. (All care, no responsibility etc)
    regards, Vin.

  • Where do I write business Logic?

    Hi,
    Where do I write bisiness Logic?
    Tutorial said "It is common practice to include the bean property and the Action
    implementation to which it refers within the same bean class".
    But I thought EventHander Impl is better to write business Logic
    like retrieving the data from database.
    Which is common use?
    Or I need to choose them depending on the situation?
    Thanks in advance for you help.
    tomo

    Thanks for the reply!!
    But I am still confused.
    I thought I can write business logic A and B.
    What is difference between A and B ??
    Hi tomo,
    In the two options you provide the difference is not that much. The ActionListener instance willhave to be registered in your JSP of course to listen to the button or hyperlink with the f:action_listner tag. But in both cases your biz logic is in your ui. I think that is the wrong direction for you to head.
    I think the real question should be (forgive me if I'm pulling the discussion away from your question, but I think this is relevant) where does the business logic go.
    As Kito said your biz logic belongs apart from your UI logic (classic MVC approach). So in the real world what does that mean? As you suggest in option B in your last post a bean provides an action so that it can be specified via the actionRef attribute. This action in turn invokes a method on the bean it comes from which then invokes the business logic on the 'real' business logic.
    The Action becomes simply a translator (or part of the Adaptor pattern from the GoF book).
    For example lets say you have a bean that does biz processing like this;
    public interface CatalogFacade {
      public Collection getProducts(ProductSearchCriteria criteria);
    }And you want to invoke that 'business logic' from your JSF UI. The button would be declared with this code
    <h:comman_button id="searchCommand" type="submit"
                        label="Search"
                        commandName="search"
                        actionRef="searchBean.searchAction"/>In your searchBean you have many options to return the searchAction but I prefer the following
    public class SearchBean {
       public SearchFacade searchFacade = null; // this could be a managed bean or an EJBSession or whatnot
       public ProductSearchCriteria productSearchCriteria = null; // this should be 'filled' in by the form the button is on
       private transient Action searchAction = new Action() {
        public String invoke() {
          return search();
      public Action getSearchAction() {
        return searchAction;
      public void search() {
        Collection products = searchFacade.search(productSearchCriteria);
        // place the products collection into the next page's bean so that is can be found via valueRef attributes
    }Notice that no database hits are happening in the UI code. Also there is no business logic here either.
    It is very important to keep these two concerns divided for ease of maintenance. The typical reasoning goes something like this, 'your ui is very likely to change so keep it separate from your business logic'. Other reasons to be careful about mixing UI and biz logic is the likely hood that you will get very different behavior (one probably wrong) if you have to and another client to your biz logic.
    For example in the earlier product search stuff. If we needed a web service front end to the 'searchProducts' functionality and we had the db hit happening in the action or page bean we would be stuck. With the above impl we get to just put a WS over the facade and we are done.
    Hope this helps.
    You can also look at some of the blueprint patterns for more info. They start here;
    http://java.sun.com/blueprints/patterns/index.html
    While some of the EJB specific patterns might be more involved than you need they provide excelent archtectural guidence for web only apps as well.
    Good luck,

  • Where's The Convert ID3 Tag option in iTunes 11?

    What happened to the convert ID3 tag option in iTunes 11? It no longer appears when I right-click on a song.
    Because iTunes still saves the ID3 tags in imported MP3's as v2.2, I have to convert the tags to v2.3 so that the MP3 information is recognized by my car radio.

    Just to clarify for anyone else still having troubles.
    Convert ID3 Tags... is still in iTunes 11, but it only shows up when you right-click on audio tracks while in Song or List View.
    To recap:
    You MUST be in List or Song View.
    You can NOT be in Grid, Artist List, or Album View.
    Also, please remember that ID3 Tags are only for MP3/MPEG audio files, and NOT MP4/AAC/Apple Lossless audio files.
    Hope this helps.
