Where is Slideshow in QuickLook in 10.10?

Previous versions of QuickLook had a playable Slideshow and a Full Screen option. Are these functions GONE in 10.10? HELP

So are you saying that if you select a file or group of files and press the spacebar you do not get the standard quick view screen.
Note the little twin diagonal button on the top left (next to the close button) is the full screen mode button, that when pressed will also allow access to the slideshow. If not then what are you seeing?

Where are slideshows stored?

I have recently moved my iPhoto Libarary onto an external hard drive which is fine. I was just wondering where the slideshows are stored as they don't come over with the libarary?
Any ideas as I want them to show up in my left hand menu... my son loves to go through the slideshows so like to keep them handy.

Hi tim,
If you copied the entire iPhoto Library folder to the external, then the slideshows should still be there in iPhoto when you launch it. (slideshows info is stored in data files, not an actual file written to disk)
Did you make permanent slideshows that show up in the source column, or "on-the-fly" slideshows?

Slideshow using Quicklook?

I recently upgraded to OS X Lion on my MacBook Pro. I'm trying to use the instant slideshow option with the quicklook button, but it isn't working. Previously, and what help says it should do, is select the images you want and press spacebar. Then the slide show buttons should appear, and you have the option of clicking to full screen. But now the buttons don't appear ... Any ideas?

I chose to export a series of pictures as a slideshow, and it immediately started doing it. I wasn't given a chance to name it. Now I can't find it anywhere.

Where did Slideshow go?

I've been using 10.5 a week now and today I needed to do a slideshow of a folder full of JPGs. In Tiger it was really handy to simply select the files, right-click on them and choose Slideshow. I can't find it in Leopard.
To add insult to injury the slideshow function doesn't seem to working in my CS3 Bridge app either.
Please don't tell me I have to use iPhoto.

Help with js slideshow

Hey guys,
Im putting in a slideshow to my site. Its js, nothing fancy. The code is be posted below. Im working on a pretty big site for my employer so before adding it to that one, i tried it on another older site and everything worked great. Then I added it to the new one, which is built with asp.net, and nothing appears. if i take away the js and css files for the slideshow, a border will appear around where the slideshow should be. The links associated with the images work as well, but when I add the two files back, nothing agian. the image folder i believe is where it should so this isnt really make sense unless i missed something. I would post the link to the site but it isnt live yet. Any suggestions would be excellent. Thank you

problelm solved! I had the files/fodler in a sub folder. A little confusing to why it wouldnt work being the page was in a sub folder but anyways

How can I link to a slideshow image on a separate page?

I would like to link images on my homepage to specific images in a slideshow on my "Work" page. Currently I'm simply linking to anchored points on the "Work" page where corresponding slideshow thumbnails are, but I would like to eliminate the step of clicking on the "Work" thumbnail to open the slideshow. Is this possible, and if so, how do I go about doing this?

Unfortunately this is currently not possible to achieve in Adobe Muse.
User would need to click on the thumbnail to view the image. Anchor links cannot take users to specific slides/images in a Widget.

My slideshow button at the bottom of Orgainizer 13 main screen doesn't do anything.... Why not

I can select several photos and then engage this button and nothing happens. No slide show no nothing .... THis may be related to my problem where Create "slideshow" in the create menu only proceeds to the point of allowing me to select a slideshow theme but nothing happens after that.

Slideshow Titles don't display; Music not controlled.

The Apple TV does not show titles on slideshows that I created in Macbook and synced to Apple TV. The music I chose for the slideshows is not the same as I selected on my Macbook - kind of random selection from the Apple TV Playlist. How can I get Apple TV to display picture titles and play the correct music?

it created an identical file (in Movies tab of iTunes), then gave me a message ""MovieName" was not copied to the Apple TV "Apple TV" because it cannot be played on this Apple TV." However, it actually did transfer to Apple TV, and would play, and it showed the titles.
I suspect that the reference to not being able to be played on the tv is as a result of the original file, which wouldn't be playable and why you created a new version, you can safely delete the original.
The drawback is that the "movie" slides are grainy, nowhere near the quality of using the iPhoto slideshow. Plus the movie does not fit my TV monitor where the slideshow fills the screen. I don't know if there is a solution to this problem.
Yes unfortunately the older imovie wasn't the best at creating movies. imovie 09 is much better, I've linked a couple of examples for you to try on your tv if you wish to see how the newer imovie does things a little better.

Spry image slideshow not displaying as expected

Hoping someone in this forum can help, as I have previously posted this problem in the Spry forum, but I only got one answer and it didn't seem to fix the problem.
I used the widget browser to place a copy of the 'spry image slideshow with filmstrip' widget on to one of my web pages. When this page displays, there is a big gap (like excess padding) above the main image (between the outer frame and the main image frame). I can't see why this is happening or what bit of HTML/CSS to tweak to sort it out.

The problem lies with stylesheet.css. If you delete that, you will see that the slideshow will display as expected.
When doing a layout for the page, just look at the basics. In your case you have got a header, a sidebar, main content and a footer, all within a width of 960px and centered within the viewport. The basic CSS for the layout would look like

Iphoto slideshow in imovie?

I have made a slideshow in iphoto.
I would like to use this at the begining of a movie in imove.
Can this be done?

I don't know which version iPhoto you have but the one I've got has an Export button sitting right next to the Play button when I have a slideshow open in iPhoto. Click on Export and in the options available choose the "Large" size. This is the exact same dimensions iMovie uses to edit your projects when you are working on video. Uncheck the box marked Open in iTunes when done (you don't want to send it to iTunes). Also, choose to save it to the desktop so you can import it into an iMovie event when you are done. It will be saved into the iPhoto Slideshows folder inside the Pictures folder in your home folder. Go the File>Import>Movies... then click through to where the Slideshow movie was saved.

100% width slideshow

I have inserted images that are bigger than the height of the slideshow i have on my home page. fro example one image is 1500 pixels tall where the slideshow container is about 300 pixels. when I set the sldieshow to 100% width it locks the image to the bottom of the picture and I cannot adjust the position of the picture in the slideshow. the only way is to take it off 100% width. is this a bug or there a way that I can achieve what I am looking to do.

What you have encountered is default behavior of the slideshow widget,which when set to 100% width. I am afraid at this stage, you cannot edit /resize the image. Hence to do the same you will need to take the 100% width option off from the widget.

Moving Slideshow to iDisk OR iTunes?

I created a Slideshow in iTunes. I am now trying to either move it or export it or whatever I have to do to get that Slideshw onto my iPhone. Can't figure it out.
I exported as a .mov file, but when I try to open that I get an Error in QUicktime saying: "The document “Dragontemp.mov” could not be opened. The movie is not in a format that QuickTime Player understands."
I just upgraded to Snow Leopard & QT is supposedly the latest version.
I also tried dragging the SLideshow Folder into iTunes but that doesn't work. Likewise, cannot drag it into iDisk either.
Also tried to use SHARE as a .Mac Slides, but that is greyed out.
So now that I have this slideshow made, how can anyone see it other than coming to my place & logging onto my iMac? I'd think there would be a quick & easy way to move the iPhoto slideshow onto an iPhone?

I was able to use the latter method to Create a slideshow, I then was able to export it to iTUnes.
But after syncing my iPhone, the movie does not show up anywhere on my ihone. Although there is a folder for Movies on iTUnes, and that is where the slideshow was placed, on the iPhone there is NO folder for Movies. There is a Videos folder, but that is blank.
So I guess I am still left with my original question(s) - How do I get a slideshow made on iPhoto onto my iPhone?

I had thought MobileMe would be a good vehicle for that, but what I am finding in my trial is that MobileMe isn't very good for anything excpet looking at single, small files, or single pictures. Doesn't seem to work for albums, slideshows, etc.

Completing a Slideshow

I created a slide show in Photoshop Elements 10 using my photos in Organizer. When I finished for the day, the program instructed me to Save it if I wanted to return to the slideshow at another time. When I tried to return I found no way of doing so.
