Where is source code for flex.util.SerializedTemplateFactory?
This class is included (why?) in the mm-velocity-1.4.jar file. I'm trying to build the flexsdk entirely from source to meet packaging requirements.

Need to find the source code for java.util.LinkedList
Hello all,
I'm new to the forums and I actually need the LinkedList source file as well as all the source files for all Java packages and libraries. Please post a link here if you can, or email me at [email protected]
Thanks again!
copter_manBut those must be platform dependant, not really that
interesting to look at. I have never felt any need to
look at those at least.Wake up and smell the coffee, abbie! I read the source code all the time and constantly tell my students to do that, too.
1. Java source code is not platform dependent. The original poster wanted to look at linked list code, how could that be platform dependent?
2. It is the implementation of the SDK APIs, so by definition it is implementation dependent code, liable to change in a later version. So don't assume anything beyond what is claimed in the API documentation. However, sometimes the documentation is incomplete or ambiguous to you, and reading the source can provide some insight, however implementation dependent. (Light a candle or curse the darkness.)
3. Why read source code? It's a good way to learn how to program. You see something in the API and ask: how'd they do that? Or you realize you want to do something broadly similar, but you can't reuse the source code.
For example, Images are not Serializable, but suppose you want a small image that is part of an object to be serialized with the rest of the object without too much fuss (ie, without using javax.imageio). You notice ImageIcon is serializable, so you use it. (An ImageIcon has-an Image.) Then you wonder: how'd they do that? You read the source and then you know.

Where can I get the source code for sun classes?
Hello,
When ever you download sun's j2sdk, the archive always contains the source code for the entire sdk in a zip file called src.zip except the sun.xxx classes like sun.awt.print.PrintDialog or sun.awt.font.FontResolver.
For debugging purposes I need, if availabe, the source code of these classes which are not present in the src.zip.
Please can someone tell me if theses classes are available as source and can point me where I can find it cause I am searching for it but can't find it on the net.
Thank you
CarolinHey ChuckBing
And your way is the only way, right? No.What on earth is eating you? Highly sensitive today?
Where is the problem? There are two solutions of the question.
The one link I posted points directly to the sun source download link. The "readme" explains, yippie, the sun sources are contained. Easy, isn't it?
With the other one, you have to navigate at least through two other pages before you might find the link and only if you recognize that "Download JDK 5.0 source via SCSL/JRL" means the sun source code and not the sources contained in the JDK download. This is what I thought as I've seen this link the first time. Unfortunately there is no "readme".
I prefer the easy way, I dont want to earn a doctorate. Ok, you can say dont "play the woman", but I'm a woman and a blonde too;-)
But, let us stop the idle discussion here, please!
Nevertheless, thanks to you and [email protected] for answering. -

Where's the source code for the JavaFX 8 Samples?
Hi,
I just downloaded the samples for JavaFX 8 and the menu popup on the top left really caught my attention.
I'd like to study the source code for it. Does anyone know where I can find it?
I expected it here http://hg.openjdk.java.net/openjfx/8/master/rt/file but it seems it's not there.
Alternatively: Jasper Potts presented a Kiosk App at Devoxx 2012 (Antwerp), which was also used at JavaOne. I think this app uses the same Menu. And he said sources are available. But I can't remember the link.Oh, too obvious. They are directly included into the zip. My bad I didn't notice them. I had expected them to be online somewhere. Thanks!

Where is java source code for TitledBorder
Where is java source code for TitledBorder?
I don't want to decompile it, as it may be slightly different than the original.
Is it in some jar file on my computer?
ThanksIt's different from the original because the names of objects are different. I decompiled them, because I didn't feel like paging through that URL to find them.
I was trying to fix the TitledBorder, because it leaves like 2 pixels of padding outside of the border, but all the variables I change in that class don't seem to correct that. -

Where's the source code for the MIDP 2.0
Hi
does anybody know if the source code for the MIDP 2.0 is available anywhere, if so please give me the link, I've searched for it but couldn't find. I need it to create a custom class based on the Command class, but need to have a look at the source code of the "Command" to make the appropriate changes to my extending class, so I can't do it without a look under the hood.
Any help would be greatly appreciatedYou can find reference implementations at http://java.sun.com/products/midp/index.jsp
But they are only to assist manufacturers in implementing their own versions, and do not necessarily reflect the code running on a given device. All you can assume is what is stated in the MIDP specification. However, reading the RI code may help you better understand the spec. -
Where to find source code for PDK
for example, source code for AbstractPortalComponent.
Hi Han,
To get the source code of the PDK, first download the pdk either from SDN or portal from java developer> PDK download>jar files and save netweaverlib.zip.
Unzip it and you will find more jar file.
Now if you rename the .jar file to .zip and open you will find .class file. Use a decomplier to get the java classes. For abstract portal component rename and unzip prtapi.jar.

How to get source code for WinCE 6.0 USB Camera Driver for ARM4I Processor
Hi,
I am implementing USB camera driver for my mini2440 board which has an ARM4I processor. The sample code
"Windows Embedded CE 6.0 USB camera Driver" downloaded from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2ef087c0-a4ae-42cc-abd0-c466787c11f2
does not support ARM4I processors. When trying to generate in VS2005 Platform Builder my WinCE 6.0
image for mini2440 with the Third party catalog items "MJPEG Decompression Filter" and "USB CameraDriver",
the linker giver errors. Please advise where to find a working source code for USB (now revision 1.1
("full-speed") is supported in my WinCE 6.0 image) camera for my ARM4I processor. The code should
be in C# but C++ will be fine also.
Thanks,

Source code for "Creating an Extended Web Dynpro Application"?
Hello!
I'm a rookie in the field of SAP Netweaver and I'm justing getting started with some tutorials. My problems with "Creating an Extended Web Dynpro Application" are to massive to be posted on this forum in this stage. What I want to have some help with is to find the source code for that tutorial so I can get som guidence from there.
Following text is cut out of this page:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/5d/f42fef2eec724597a03b6bcc670c2c/frameset.htm
Creating an Extended Web Dynpro Application
You can download the Web Dynpro project for the current tutorial from the Software Developer Network SDN (http://sdn.sap.com -> Web Application Server -> Web Dynpro -> Sample Applications and Tutorials) in two versions: one skeleton version you can use for exercises and one final version (solution) for an immediate build, deployment and run on the Java engine of the SAP Web Application Server.
How hard I try I can't find the specific source code on sdn.sap.com
Does anyone have a clue where it is?
Thanks!
Best regards
/Johan Månsson LindströHi!
I did what you said but I seem to miss the IDE folder. This is what it looks in my Explorer
C: > Program Files > SAP > IDE > CE > eclipse > (no folder called "examples")
I also did a search in this eclipse folder for "examples" but I did'nt find the example I'm looking for
I am running a newer version of NWDS:
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP03 PAT0000
Maybe that's why things don't look the same? -
Source code for 2d cross-correlation fx?
I know this is a long shot but does anyone have the c or c++ code to compute the 2d (image) cross-correlation fx? (I know that IMAQ VISION has the cross-correlation routine but I am looking to potentially modify the 2d correlation routine to compute something called non-symmetry coefficient and would need to start with the source code). Or, labview source code for this operation would also be quite acceptable and in fact preferred!!
Thanks,
DonI don't have the 2D cross correlation in labview, but... isn't the cross correlation very similar to an FFT? In that case a 2D FFT could maybe help since it shows how the 2D FFTs are derived from 1D FFTs in labview. I attach an llb where 2D FFT is done. I don't know where I got it from, maybe I even wrote it myself sometime in the dark past (probably translating it from some piece of C source code from the 'Numerical Recipes' book).
Maybe it is of some help for you...

Need sample source code for calling stored procedure in Oracle
Hi.
I try to call stored procedure in oracle using JCA JDBC.
Anybody have sample source code for that ?
Regards, Arnold.Thank you very much for a very quick reply. It worked, but I have an extended problem for which I would like to have a solution. Thank you very much in advance for your help. The problem is described below.
I have the Procedure defined as below in the SFCS1 package body
Procedure Company_Selection(O_Cursor IN OUT T_Cursor)
BEGIN
Open O_Cursor FOR
SELECT CompanyId, CompanyName
FROM Company
WHERE CompanyProvince IN ('AL','AK');
END Company_Selection;
In the Oracle Forms, I have a datablock based on the above stored procedure. When I execute the form and from the menu if I click on Execute Query the data block gets filled up with data (The datablock is configured to display 10 items as a tabular form).
At this point in time, I want to automate the process of displaying the data, hence I created a button and from there I want to call this stored procedure. So, in the button trigger I have the following statements
DECLARE
A SFCS1.T_Cursor;
BEGIN
SFCS1.Company_Selection(A);
go_Block ('Block36');
The cursor goes to the corresponding block, but does not display any data. Can you tell me how to get the data displayed. In the future versions, I'm planning to put variables in the WHERE clause. -
Source Code for Business Package Assets

Hi Team ,

How can I find out
*1 .where the Database is mounted ie Server information and*
*2 .Name of the Sql file contains the package body*
*3 .location of the file in the Server*
Regards ,
AugustineHi - the source code isn't read in from a file by the database, it's actually stored in the database itself (have a look at the user_source view). Now you may have text files backups of your source code, that have been used previously to create the packages, but the database won't store any info about the file used to do this. -
