Where is standalone for 3.2.1?

I've been trying to find a standalone download (update) for Safari 3.2.1 OS X (10.4.11) PPC and I keep getting bounced to the Safari 4 beta on the Applications Updates page. Does anyone know where to get the 3.2.1? Search goes nowhere. Thanks.

Hi WZZZ,
Thanks. Feel kind of foolish. Don't know why I couldn't find it. It wasn't that hard, was it?
The Downloads link (at the top of the page) often has slightly different things compared to the 'Support Downloads' link under the Support area. I've no idea why, but there you have it.
It's always hard to gauge from these forums as everyone here usually has a problem with something or other. The 'Fraudulent sites' thing has cropped up fairly regularly, but compared to how many people out there are using Safari it's still relatively small. (For what it's worth, it's never been on a problem on the couple of Macs I happen to use.)
Most of the other problems have been due to incompatible extensions and most of those have now been updated to work. If you do use any, check for updates to them.
Fingers crossed everything will be fine, but if not, you know where we are
PS. It's always a good idea to have a backup browser should the worst happen to your favourite. [Firefox|www.mozilla.com] and [Camino|www.caminobrowser.org] are both great browsers.

  • Where is link for Offline installer, scepinstall.exe for latest version, curently 4.7.209 ???????

Where is link for Offline installer, scepinstall.exe for latest version, currently 4.7.209 ???????
I have looked for a link in the past for the scepinstall.exe file and it is always a MAJOR PAIN, if not impossible to find!!!!!!
Microsoft NO LONGER HAS AN EXCUSE FOR THIS LINK NOT EXISTING!!!!!!!!!
They have been told that it needs to exist and the logic for it is without error.
The ANSWER WILL NOT BE IT DOES NOT EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is NO EXCUSE FOR THIS NOT TO BE AN EASY TO FIND DOWNLOAD MICROSOFT, NO EXCUSE, except maybe laziness or greed, but no technical or legal reason for it not being made available, obviously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There MUST BE A PERMANENT LINK MAINTAINED BY MICROSOFT WHERE I CAN AT ALL TIMES GO TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST GREATEST STANDALONE SCEP CLIENT AT ALL TIMES!!!!!!!
Today it would contain version 4.7.209. When the next version is release I will click on the same link and it will down load that new version EVERY TIME, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been able to capture, during an update the epplauncher.exe file and its accompanying folders etc, but that installer does not support any command line switches like the scepinstall.exe version for the client installer does. Needless to say that is
ridiculous and stupid and incompetent of Microsoft to do, but that is what they did so needless to say I need the SCEPINSTAL.EXE version of the client installer that supports the command line switches, x64 and x86 in one file, no need to program in a check
for that. And of course a link is absolutely required so that I can always find the latest version and I will never have to re-write my install script every time the install files changes, or a new version comes out, nor spend time trying
to capture the file during an update etc. etc. etc.
Also don't tell me to go to the SCCM administrator, because he doesn't have a clue as to where this can be found or even that it exist. (The link given in the forums for finding it on the SCCM server DOES not maintain the latest greatest version at all times
so that is also not the answer.)
I should also NEVER have to extract it from the SCCM updates such as "Cumulative Update 4 for ConfigMgr 2012 R2" which is where I found the 4.6.305 version a few months ago.
Thanks for the help, get your act in gear MS,
    Ralph

    Ralph,
You won't find a link to download as the SCEP update is treated as a Windows Update via ConfigMgr.
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3036437?wa=wsignin1.0
You could join Connect and log this request with Microsoft by joining the Configuration Manager programme.
    https://connect.microsoft.com/
You might want to lay of the exclamation marks when you do so, it would look a bit more professional.
Be aware there have been reported issues with the version of SCEP you are wanting to install.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
So long as you are logged into the iTunes Store, using the correct ID and password (settings >store), then you will always have access to your apps, books, music, TV shows etc etc bought via the iTunes Store on that account.

I got a new iPhone and i am trying to buy songs but when I go to buy a song on iTunes it says I have to answer my security questions and I don't remember the answers. I pressed where it says for them to email you your answers but I haven't gotten an email.  Is there another way to change or get the answers for the security questions?

If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Hello. On my MacBook Air late 2013 model I am having a problem with Microsoft office word for Mac where the window for the document becomes all gray and I can not see anything that I have typed or any menus for it and also windows will sometimes dissapear and I am having truble getting them back. If anyone has anyideas of what is going on or could even help me thank you.

    Glad that helped.
As time goes by (months or years), keep your eyes on how long Microsoft continues to support Office 2011 for Mac.  Eventually you should consider Office 365 or Apple's Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

  • Where to look for the computed stats collected using gather_table_stats

I have used analyze command before but new to gather_table_stats.
I have executed gather_table_stats procedure as given below. Now where to look for the statistics estimated and also what are the important parameters I need to look in the stats ? Any major difference between analyze & gather_table_stats ?
    SQL> exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats(ownname => 'TPDBS01A', tabname => 'x_TPD_STG_TL_SF_LEGAL_OWN
    ER' , estimate_percent => 50, method_opt => 'for all indexed columns size auto');
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

The command "analyze table" is deprecated for gathering optimizer statistics. But it is still the only command to get for instance the chained rows. This command is no longer maintained for new features, so if you use this command to collect statistics, it might not collect all needed numbers for the optimizer so the plan could be wrong.
The package dbms_stats is collecting all the figures that the optimizer needs to genererate an optimal access plan. All new database features are incorporated only here.
The statistics numbers can be found in the normal tables like USER|ALL|DBA_TABLES, ...TAB_COLUMNS, ...INDEXES, ...IND_COLUMNS etc. There you can find for instance number of rows in table, clustering factor for indexes and more numbers like this. They are not really needed for us human beings, they are used by the optimizer to generate the access plan.

  • Where to Look for Crash Causes

    Hi,
G5 for 3 years; rock solid. Don't recall installing anything unusual (other than Apple SW updates) but twice now in the last week I have retunred to the system after being at work to find screen turned off and fans at full pelt. In the early days when I had a couple of kernel panics I knew where to look for the logs. I havce investigated every log (from System Profiler) for both of these "meltdowns" but can't find any reference at all.
How do I go about pinpointing the cause?

PS: Apologies in advance - cross posting in OSX and G5 because I don't know which is the most relevant?

Just to answer my own question. Found this in system log, and these are the last entries before the reboot:

Now, a couple of weeks ago I installaed a Lacie PCI Firewire 800 card and attached three Lacie FW 800 drives (previously these were all daisy-chained off the one FW 800 port on the G5 and have worked without issue for two to three years).
Could these messages be a cause of the crash? Anybody know what they might mean?

Now, a couple of weeks ago I installaed a Lacie PCI Firewire 800 card and attached three Lacie FW 800 drives (previously these were all daisy-chained off the one FW 800 port on the G5 and have worked without issue for two to three years).
Could these messages be a cause of the crash? Anybody know what they might mean?

Thanks, the write-up was informative, But it do not answer for my question, that is where to look for serial # on my Macbook Pro Mid 2010 White Unibody Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz 13.3"? Its not on bottom-case and the above article does not mention this model?

Click on the Apple and then on about this Mac. In the new window, click on the "version 10.9.2" until you see the serial number displayed.

  • Where are files for my applications kept? I'm trying to do a clean install.

I have an intel imac OS 10.6.8. I have to do a clean install and need to transfer my files to a USB flashdrive because time machine hasn't backed up in 3 months. Where are files for my applications kept?

Since you mentioned Time Machine, I'm assuming you have an external hard drive? So why not make a complete backup - either with Time Machine or a bootable clone with CarbonCopyCloner or SuperSuper? Applications sometimes transfer well, but not always - it depends how many files/parts they have on the hard drive in different locations. There is no simple answer to your question because of that - it depends on the individual application. I'd back up all of it, do the install, and then use Setup Assistant to port things back.

  • IDOC -- File:(R/3-- XI) : Idocs not reaching XI. Where to check for error

    Hi,
I have completed the config for IDOC to XI (R/3-->XI) scenario based on various weblogs available on Sdn.
For testing, I am using we19 to trigger the outbound idoc from R/3. But when I look in IDX5 in XI or message monitor, I do not see any message or IDOC there. Even SXMB_MONI in XI does not have any message.
What could be the potential issue for this behaviour. Is there a way where I could debug or any steps that could tell me where to look for the error.
So far only odd behaviour I have observed is:
When in WE19 I trigger the IDOC for outbound processing, XI login screen pops up, where I need to enter password. Once I click enter the screen disappears and the message, IDOC sucessfully sent to external system/Port appears.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I checked SM58 and teher indeed are errors saying
"Name or Password is incorrect (repeat logon) "
So which connection is having incorrect password in SM59?
I checked and I have a working RFC connection  (TYpe 3) in SM59 for XI.
Just to add TCP/IP connection(Type T) has 2 connections not working. They are LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI.
So what should be my next step in correcting this error as I am not sure which RFC connection user-id is responsible for SM58 errors.
    Any feedback is welcome.
    Thanks

  • (Help) system classpath  -Vs-  the place where weblogic looks for classes

The following is my app's hierarchy.
    myapp
    |
    |__myjsp.jsp
    |
    |__WEB-INF
    |
    |__classes
    |_ MyClass.class
I am not able to use MyClass within myjsp.jsp
i.e. a scriplet like that shown below gives an error stating that MyClass isnt found
    <% MyClass obj; %>
I've tried setting the system classpath, but to no avail.
Is there a difference between the system classpath and the place where weblogic looks for classes?
(I am running my app by creating a myapp.war file and placing it in autodeploy folder)

Try moving your class to a named package and use the appropriate import statement in your JSP. Loading it from WEB-INF/classes/packagename should be fine so you might want to remove the other classpath mods you made to eliminate that uncertainty.
    Here's a snippet from http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/dmndhelp/v6rxmx/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.websphere.nd.doc/info/ae/ae/rweb_jsp_migration.html:
"As of JSP 2.0, referring to any classes from the unnamed or default package is not allowed. This can result in a translation error on some containers, specifically those that run in a JDK 1.4 or greater environment which will also break compatibility with some older JSP applications. However, as of JDK 1.4, importing classes from the unnamed package is not valid. See Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition Version 1.4.2 Compatibility with Previous Releases for details. Therefore, for forwards compatibility, applications must not rely on the unnamed package. This restriction also applies for all other cases where classes are referenced, such as when specifying the class name for a tag in a Tag Library Descriptor (TLD) file."

  • Where used listing for Query Variables

Can someone tell me how to get this list from the metadata repository or from the transport connector?
I have read this thread "where used" list for BEx variables but this isn't working for us.
Is there some config that is required which we have missing?
We are running BI7 SP19 if this helps.
    Thanks
    Craig

    Arun,
Yeah I figured as much, but this is why I am thinking we have something missing, config or otherwise.
Cause all I get when I do this is a new window with just the Variable details and nothing else, no where used list at all i.e.
