I've read past questions about it but the airport management tools I downloaded don't seem to tell me much, in fact airport management utility won't even open. How can I check if anyone is on my wireless network - I'm using a linksys modem/router. I've got a WEP set up.
For my peace of mind please help.

I have to disagree with you. Anonymous users are leeches.
Your post seems to suggest that since nobody is getting hurt then it is okay to act unethically. But you don't seem to be considering the fact that legitimate users are getting hurt by you and the people who are sharing your connection.
Basically, as the number of people using the network increases, the ISP needs to upgrade its infrastructure to handle the increased demand. When the increased demand comes from legitimate users the extra cost is taken care of in the form of access fees paid by the new users. But when the increased demand comes from users who do not pay for the service, the extra cost is passed on to everyone else in the form of higher fees.
By sharing your connection you are raising the cost for everyone. Sure, it may only cost other users pennies a year (if that). But if enough people do what you and the leeches do then those pennies can really start to add up.

If you are syncing now, that may correct the incorrect storage reading - assuming that it is incorrect.
You can also try something like this. While the iPad is still connected to iTunes - but after you sync - go into the Photos Tab in iTunes and toggle setting for Sync Photos From. Uncheck the setting and then check it again. See if that affects the capacity bar to show the correct storage amount.

Choose Computer from the Finder's Go menu and find the internal drive.

When splitting a document, in output options you can select the target folder to be "the same folder selected at start", but where is that folder? I assumed it would be the original location of the source file but in my test the split files are not there just the source file.

Have you checked My Documents? You might close Acrobat and reopen, then see what folder comes up when you select File>Open.

The should be in defaultdomains.xml which will be in your system types directory (if you defined one), otherwise it is in a folder where you installed data modeler.

An event will only be deleted if none of its clips are in use in other projects (in other events).

Check your Videos and your text messages - if there are any pics or videos in text messages, they can take up a lot of space.

The reason you want to do this is because the Franchise table is not used directly. So without including the table on the object definition, you would get prompted for a context.
To fix this, as suggested above, double-click on the object in question, and you will see the Tables button on the bottom of that screen. Click the Tables button, and include the Franchise table and save your object.
Be aware, however, that the tables list is automatically updated every time you change the object. So if you update the select or where clause at some point, you'll need to do this step again.

If you've downloaded a film from the iTunes store app (or synced them from your computer's iTunes) then they should be in the iPad's Videos app

Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.

The file is just left where it was when it was connected to the library. Typically:
<User>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music/<Artist>/<Album>/## <Name>.<Ext>
If you want to add it back just drag it into iTunes. If you want to cull the files you kept previously add the entire iTunes Media folder back into iTunes (or use one of Doug's scripts that has the same effect), then delete (and don't keep) the recent additions.
Note that warning/prompt is only issued when the files you are removing are located inside the designated iTunes Media folder.
