Where is the 1000 separator

where is the 1000 separator
The old numbers had a menu item to put commas in, I cannot find it in the new numbers.
In format or setup and I cannot recognize anything in the upper drop down menus either.

Movie Rentals, Where are the 1000 Rentals?

Go the iTunes Store main page, click on the Movies link under the iTunes Store header, then scroll down to the "All Rentals" link under the Categories header.
And yes, the number of movies actually available as of today fall far short of the 1000 estimated to be available when the rentals were announced. Clearly the movie studios haven't been as forthcoming as they initially indicated, or it's taking a lot longer to get the movies processed than Apple anticipated.

Problem with Numbers! Cannot format a number with "1000" separator

I need to format numbers in cells with the "1000" separator
1000.99 should really look like 1,000.99
Looks like there is no way to do this in Numbers!
I only found the following work-around:
When I import a spreadsheet from Excel the formating is there and Numbers will even keep the format as long as I do not delete the cell contect! So to me this means that the functionality is there - it was just forgotten to implement a numbers formatting took in the GUI!
Of course Numbers is just a scaled down product for iPad and does not really stand up to Excel but this is the most basic function that I expected from a spreadsheet program!
Anybody experience that problem too or is there another way to get this to work?

I actually fixed this by using the following which gives the same result.
ToText(Member#,"#") & "-" & ToText(Account#,"#")
It would be nice if Crystal Reports Server 2008 was able to detect the field formats used in a report when saved from Crystal Reports. This worked without the formulas in Crystal Enterprise 9.
Another issue I found on this report was an issue with charts and group headers. If you are using a number on your chart axis it was displaying the number as 9,999.00 and the same for the Group Header. You actually have to create a group header and axis formula specifically converting the number to text with the formula above.

You cannot use iCloud Storage to suppliment your iPad. They are mainly used to backup iPad.
Free up space on iPad
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad.

I have 261 gb used on my User folder..but the sum is 80 gb separately..where are the other gigs

I need to clear up space on my 4 year old Imac. The most gbs are used in my User folder. It says 262gb are used. But when I click on the individual folders, and add them up I have only used 80 gb. Where are the others , how can I clear them up. I am baffled. Help

Do not delete from the libraries until you know exactly what is being deleted.
Generally you should never delete from either of the Libraries, they contain critical system operation files.

I go to the download page to download the drivers for this 551dn. I download all windows 7, 8, 8.1, 2008, 2012, so that i can put them on my print server. I downloaded them from here..

I get the file downloaded (LJEnt-color-M551-Drv-no-installer_12297.exe), i run it, get the security warning and Run. the file extracts - then POOF, the installer is gone.
where did the files go? They aren't on the root of the C: drive, a folder/files were not created on my desktop, no files or folder created in my downloads folder.
I was never asked for a file save location.... ??? really? is this this basic stuff?
Where are the files? this $$$ printer is a brick until i get drivers!

UPDATE- I FOUND THE FILES!!
First of all, HP... i'm not impressed.
All the files for all the drivers are in a series of temp folders...

There is no change to this problem after 6 months since the last post. Put simply, and as stated in the previous posts, there is no way to scan a document and receive the image on your PC. If you are working with graphics for any length of time or want to create an image for inclusion as an image in a document or web page using this piece of equipment will not allow you to do so.
Great shame as every other function works well - it cannot be beyond the wit of HP to include a Windows application that enables you to scan an image, receive it in the software you are using at the time (e.g. Outlook, Word, Photoshop...) and use it in your work.
HP Printers several years older than this £1000+ Enterprise printer were able to do this simple job and have done so for a great many years. Just being able to use Microsoft's Fax and Scan would be start.

I used the iTunes match workaround and now want to start over, but I am being told I have exceeded the limit even though I completely cleared the match cloud, mindful of the 1000-delete-at-a-time limit....what should I do?

I have over 25k songs in iTunes. I originally tried the "create a second library" solution. I reduced to less than 25k songs and successfully ran iTunes match. Then I discovered the limitations of the second library solution regarding adding more music, managing playlists, and turning back on my main library and being greeted with all sorts of problems.
So, I created a blank library, ran iTunes match, and its showed me all of my files in the cloud that had been matched or uploaded. I deleted all of the files, mindful of the 1000 file limit per delete. I have confirmed I have now deleted them all. An iTunes match update says I have no files in the cloud. Perfect.
I reduced my library again, this time using the superior method of just changing the files I do not want to match to voice memos. That is done. I have less than 25 k songs.
I waited 2 days and ran match again. Yikes. It did not let me match or upload anything, and every music files's cloud status just says "exceeded limit," despite the fact that my cloud is devoid of music and I have no access to any music via match.
I am in a limbo where I have nothing in the cloud from match, but I can't add anything because match says I exceeded my limit.
I emailed customer support, and got back a useless email linking me to a very general article about iTunes match. I called customer service and they said this was something the iTunes store people would need to address, and they can only be contacted by email. Sigh . . . .

Have you confirmed that you successfull purged iTunes Match by also looking on an iOS device? If so, keep in mind that Apple's servers may be experiencing a heavy load right now. They just added about 19 countries to the service and I've read a few accounts this morning that suggests all's not running perfectly right now.

1. In a way, we cannot control this from abap coding.
2. the reason is
a) using gui_download, normally the file created
    is a text file by nature, which is delimited by tab,
   and excel can understand and open it.
b) the text file (which is having extension .xls, but having text format), does not provide any additional formatting option
such as bold, font size, italic, column width , colour etc.
c) So what ever is shown in excel, is as per its
   default setting in excel. If we can do anything,
we only can do in excel to change the display format.

System not recognising the ~ as separator in txt file.

I have given "~" as fieldseparator and 'nl' as new line.

I have done all the Design and configuration in the XI.
In datatype defination I have given below structure.

Problem: While executing this in Request payloads, the entire row ita taking into Field1 and its not
recnizing the ~ as separator.

Can anyone tell me where I am doing wrong and how can we overcome this.

Random Vectors/images color inverted in print, but not in PDF. Where does the fault lie?

Sent a PDF to the newspaper printer and some of the images had inverted/strange colors. However...
In one case I had duplicate images of a pink vector flower. SOME of the flowers were inverted, to a dark blue/black, and some were fine(pink). These were embedded vectors.
In other instances vectors, went from orange to blue/black, pink to blue/black, and yellow/white to blue black. I specify because in one vector image, a ring, the ring was yellow, but the diamond was white, and it all changed to the same blue/black in print.
Finally, there were two greyscale Tiff photographs of a pair of ladies. These are not embedded, and have not been altered at all and since the last time this paper has been printed, (which printed fine). This time, they were inverted. Nothing else on the page was inverted.
As far as I can tell, there is not a separation issue, and I have saved the file from InDesign CC to pdf using the same settings as dozens of times before. The pdf on my end looks fine. The printer says they just print what they receive, but as far as I can tell, there is no issue on our end. The fact that some duplicated images printed fine, and others did not seem to confirm this. Everything is properly linked. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this a pdf, InDesign, or even an adobe problem at all, or it is something on their end? I have heard of inverted colors before, but can't find a solution (especially as I can't even see the problem on my end.)

Where does the fault lie? - in an environment where they (the newsprinter) collect up front, have no responsibility for quality and arrogantly believe, perhaps correctly, that you'll be back with another paying job in the future.
Check the file you sent via Acrobat Preflight or Output Preview for RGB elements.
Check the file you sent via Acrobat Preflight - Checks - For Transparency Used
Do any of these elements off color involve rgb or interact (with or near) any transparency?
(InDesign could show these attributes via the links panel or a Live Preflight. Both can be (probably should be in your case) changed via the PDF Export)

Bad news I'm afraid. iCloud only keeps the last 30 days of photos. Your device will keep some old iCloud photos around - up to 1000 photos - but those ones aren't actually on iCloud any more. It's one of my pet hates about iCloud Photostream, and it has caused a lot of people to lose data. It's a very bad design decision on Apple's part.
There are file recovery programs that might be able to recover the deleted photos from your handset, but I can't remember the names of any right now. Stop using the phone completely until you can run a file recovery program to maximise the number of photos it can restore. Preferably, switch it off completely.

Nope, that doesn't work. First, I manually manage the music, but even deleting and using auto-fill, doesn't put all the album art in place even though it is all on the songs in iTunes. Even copying and pasting from iTunes to the iPhone does not get the artwork to show up, despite the fact it shows up in "Info" on the iPhone in iTunes. Plus there seems no rhymn nor reason as to the missing artwork, some ripped songs have it, some purchased songs do not. Bizarre! But I've run across this problem every since time I've restored an iPhone and had to redo the music separately, however, previously I could manually drop and drag the song over after the auto-fill to replace (after deleting on the iPhone) and the artwork would show up. Not this time however. This is one of those details I find extremely annoying!

Hi ... Where is the file that contains my contacts ? I want to restore my contacts from a CrashPlan previous backup ?

It's worth a try anyway, in the worst case = an error from Contacts being unable to read the database, you can simply delete the restored files again.
In such case, or even as a first step, you may try to use the "Import..." procedure by pointing to a *.abcddb database file from your backup.
Hint: Before system upgrades presenting me with new versions of Contacts or Calendar, I always backup my databases separately as well per "Export..." in archive format. No trouble so far.
