You mean, for the free Reader? Nowhere; there isn't such a thing. Here is a link link for general support: Contact Customer Care, although experience shows that you get better support in these forums. Only remember that they are user to user forums and no fellow user is under the obligation to reply any question, so you must be prepared to be patient at times, as Test Screen Name says.

Where are the Library & Application Support folders that were available in Leopard 10.5.8 ?

They're in the same location as before, but you need to use a method such as choosing Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and providing ~/Library/Application Support/ as the path.

  • Where are the admins and Support has been getting weaker

Ok first of aqll. Where are the admins? I have seen none of their posts anywhere. They dont' seem to care or moderate the board.
2nd of all, in some support sections, some people say smart alac things where they don't want to help their users. I got somone from one of my posts saying, "Don't try to attempt to do something when you know nothing about it"

    <img
They may or may not send an email to the offender,</div>
This is an interesting thread and I thank you and the other more experienced folk for your participation. There is a few similar recent explanatory type threads which are also useful.
However, the above partial reply does concern me a bit. And yes, I do realise that you personally are in no way responsible for or accountable for the actions or non-actions of the mods or for Apple policy. And that you are just helpfully recounting what appears to be the Discussions policy and practices.
Several months ago a reply I made to a thread was deleted, presumably by a mod but what instigated that action I do not know or do I know who reported my apparent posting crime.
To quote from : Apple Discussions Use Agreement
    "5. Breach of the Agreement
If you fail to abide by these terms Apple will send an e-mail that informs you that your Submission has been deleted or edited."
I did not receive any email from Apple explaning the reason for my submission deletion.
As shown by this thread a similar experience has occurred to other users
    <http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=792552&tstart=0>
Now, of course I am in no position to require the mods to account for their actions and I accept that these Discussions are wholly owned and operated by Apple, but Apple does [or I hope so] realise the value of the discussions and the goodwill they create and enhance.
But what is the point of having a set of rules, availble for all to see, which are in effect a two-way agreement, if Apple chooses to ignore them while expecting users to abide by them. I would have liked the opportunity to explain the import of my submission. But having it peremptorily deleted without explanation is just not fair.
But then, I expect someone will take offence at this post and it will be deleted.

  • Where is the online CHAT support area?

Historically, the couple times I had problems I would simply do online chat support.
Is that area located somewhere special? I cannot find it anymore. Is it only available for the first 90 days or something, and then even the icon dissappears?

Yes, chat support is available only during the first 90 days of your Apple warranty, or for the duration of your AppleCare warranty, if you have one. You still can access the chat support area, however, even if you are outside your warrant. I don't know why it doesn't appear on the main support web page. To find it, navigate to the Support tab and enter "chat" in the search box, and this should locate the main chat support page where you will be prompted to sign in with your Apple ID.

  • Where's the application server support matrix for JDev 10.1.2?

The following URL gives a support matrix but only covers versions up to 9.0.5.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/collateral/papers/10g/as_supportmatrix.html
Where can I find a similar document for 10.1.2?
I can't find this on MetaLink either - in fact there doesn't seem to be anything there for 10.1.2. (CM anyone?)
My basic question is that if we're moving from JDev 9.0.5 to 10.1.2 does this require any upgrades or patches to 10g AS? The release notes with JDev 10.1.2 are not helpful in this respect.
    Thanks.

Ok, nothing different is needed on the server.
BUT: What AS to use with a new project? The Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.0) has obviously a similar version number to our current JDev 10.1.2. So I would assume, that they both work together? But I wouldn't bet on this, with all the confusing numbering around these days...
Can someone of the Oracle team please clarify this and post a support matrix like the referenced above?
    Thanks!
    Torsten.

  • HT1848 My itunes windows look different. Where is the new version support? Anyone?

How do I transfer purchases from my ipod touch in the new version of itunes? Support I can find looks different from the itunes pages I see.

You can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC. To transfer purchases from the iPod you can then either right-click the iPod device on that sidebar and select 'transfer purchases', or do it via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (on a PC doing alt-F should open the File drop-down menu).

  • Where is the iTunes CHAT support?

    Hello folks,
I am experiencing a problem with purchasing on my registered $50 credit. iTunes only gives me the option to pay by credit card!
Anyhow, I want to chat with support... apparently such a feature is available:
"Please select a topic under your category for solutions and customer service options. Don't see what you're looking for? Help is also available by phone, email or chat."
But all I can find is email support.
Is there a CHAT URL someone can share with me?
    Thank you.

I just received a reply from tech 'support'.
This is the third time I contacted Apple support in two years and, again... lame answers is all that I get back. Fortunately, as with this time, I solved the problem myself.
    My original question:
    ========================================
    Dear support,
I have a redeemed $50.00 credit on iTunes (as shown under the menu bar, to the left of my account name) but I cannot seem to use it.
When I attempt to make an iTunes purchase, my only option seems to be paying by credit card.
    Please advise.
BTW, another person is also experiencing this same issues, as referenced here:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2559241&tstart=0
    Thank you,
    =================================
And the Apple support reply (notice, as usual, the support person fails to understand the question and doesn't offer the correct answer (which you can find in the above link):
Thank you for contacting iTunes Store Customer Support. My name is F........ [removed] and I will be more than happy to assist you today.
Due to high volume we were unable to process your request within the committed time frame. I sincerely apologize for the delay in assisting you.
I understand that you have purchased iTunes Gift Card and if you tried to purchase, you're being charged on your Credit Card and not on iTunes Gift Card. I know that your purchases are valuable to you, and I can certainly imagine how this may be a little upsetting. I am sure this can be slightly annoying. Rest assured, I will do my best to resolve this issue for you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your recent purchase of iTunes Gift Card. I understand that the purchase was charged to your credit card, and that you would prefer to pay with your iTunes Gift Card instead of the credit card.
When you make a purchase on the iTunes Store, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from any store credit you may have. If there is no store credit, the purchase is charged to the credit card associated with the account. If there is insufficient store credit, that credit is used and the rest of the purchase amount is charged to your credit card.
Since your iTunes Gift Card was not redeemed before you made the purchase, your credit card was charged. I'm sorry for any inconvenience, but it is not possible to issue a refund to your credit card and deduct that amount from your store credit instead.
I hope you find this information helpful. Thank you for being a valued member of the iTunes family. Your experience with the iTunes Store is of utmost importance to us.
    Have a good day!
    Sincerely,
    F.......... [removed]

  • Where is the Canada store support for Movies, TV Shows!?

Really?! Its outrageous that I can't buy TV shows, Movies, or any of the extras that are on the American store because I live in Canada. Its ********. If there is any work around to this, please let me know. I tried making a separate apple ID but my credit card wouldn't go through because it was on my main Canadian account. I think its time for Apple to start stepping up and supporting the Canadian store more than it does.

The availability of certain item in a certain store depends on the will of the copyright holder, it's not Apple's choice not to offer them.
    And in addition:
In order to buy from a certain country's iTMS you do need -
    * either a CC with a billing address in that certain country.
    * or an address in that certain country plus a gift voucher/prepaid card issued by that certain iTMS.
If you don't meet one of this conditions there is "no go".

  • Where is the GNU/Linux support?

I was looking for BlackBerry GNU/Linux support as part of our initiative to move to GNU/Linux desktops and found that RIM doesn't support it. Interestingly I have found a third party solution that supports BlackBerrys on GNU/Linux. It looks like that may be our temporary solution until we can phase out the BlackBerrys. I can't believe a company as big as RIM doesn't doesn't support GNU/Linux though.

  • Where is the list of supported video cards?

CS5 trial is unbearably slow unless I disable openGL.
Even when disabled, my menus are corrupt and windows "behind" photoshop are showing through.
Is there any way to completely disable video acceleration (CS3 works fine on this machine)?  If not, what card will work?

  • Where is the home/application/address book in Lion.  Can't find it to move in a backup of my address book.

Where is the home/application support/address book folder in Lion?  Can't find it to put in a backup.
I made a mistake.  I want to find the home/library/application support/address book - not the application itself.  The whole library is not there - is it a hidden file?  And if so how do I get it to show?

Kappy, I was going to start a Thread about the Application Folder so I'm glad you brought it up and you said that it should not even exist. I've had an Applications Folder within my Home Folder thru multiple OS. I'm even tempted to say since OS 9, but I'm not sure about that. There has never been anything in that folder and I don't remember ever creating it. Infact, The folder to me looks like a folder that would be installed as part of the OS.
