Where is the 8.3.1 update?

I have Acrobat Standard (various flavors incl XI). This question is about v8 as it supports the MDI. I had 8.3.1 installed on an older computer running Windows 7 SP1. I bought a new computer and had to reinstall Acrobat from the original discs -- version 8,0. Now I am unable to find the 8.3.1 update. Can anyone help me locate the update to version 8.0? When I use Acrobat to querry for updates, it says there are none. I know 8.0 is EOL (end of life) but does that mean Adobe proactively removes exsiting updates? Thanks.

I found the answer browding some other issues.
If, like me, you need to get the updates for Acrobat 8 Standard, go to:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/8.x/
You'll need to use an FTP client to download the files. Basically, you download all of the subdirectoreis and files under this folder, then go back to the top and do each update manually to get v8.0 up to v8.3.1 with the appropriate Registry entries, etc. I used a client named FTP Voyager as it works well for me, and just had it DL the entire contents of the folder to a folder on my NAS.
I really miss the MDI and wish Adobe would bring it back as an option. We do a lot of scanning, merging, etc., of aged corporate documents and with the MDI it takes us 1/10th the time it takes when we use a newer version of Acrobat that opens multiple instances just due to the way the screen real estate sets up and managing moving individual or groups of pages between documents.

ANswer: I hooked the iPad to my Mac computer, called up ITunes, found The Update tab,
And ran Update (on the Mac) , but iTunes was already current. Right away a button came
UP that said Update your IPAD. I ran that, and the IOS5.1.1 download began (from the
mac to the iPad). About an hour later the iPad was at IOS 5.1.1.

Where is the 9.4.3 update - full installer?

Adobe just released the 9.4.4 update for a security issue, which requires 9.4.3. The 9.4.3 update page says this is available as a full installer, but neither link on that page gets me there. The "proceed to download" button gets me a windows installer file that won't run because I don't have the right version. The Download center link tries to install 10.1 which i do not want - i just uninstalled 10.0 which was giving me a lot of problems i don't have time to troubleshoot.

Where is the HYPED CC October Update? [CC fonts offline unless you sign in]

I trust that I find you well in all aspects of life. Adobe has since promised an October update roll out which seems to be out of reach despite demos at IBC. Does anyone know how to update this. Furthermore the Cloud fonts are always offline defeating their myth about CREATIVE CLOUD updates.....

I sympathise with your position, but with respect the CC apps run fine for the vast majority of users. That in no way belittles the problems some users are having, however to hold off on the entire CC program just in case a couple of edge case configurations don't run properly would annoy millions of people. The majority wins, that's how it should be.
The past week has seen platform upgrades from Apple and Microsoft, the release images of which were very different to preview builds. Yes of course Adobe knows that Windows 8.1 or Mavericks is coming at a particular time, but it can't test against the RTM code until it ships. Nobody can. As is evident, both of these RTM versions have borked a mountain of software, not just from Adobe. Microsoft had to pull the entire Windows RT 8.1 update because of 'unexpected' bugs, and they have hundreds of times more testers employed than Adobe.
Adobe launched the new CC video tools at the IBC trade show (perfectly logical as it's the main event of the year for those customers). It's only natural that people's first question was "OK, so when will this be available?" - Adobe had to say something, and it made an educated prediction based on the development state at the time. If they just said "Oh, maybe this year, we don't know..." Adobe would have been laughed at; and their competitors would have taken advantage.
If you have an issue with AE that you can reproduce, please report it in detail. Post as much information as you can to http://www.adobe.com/go/wish and turn on the Customer Feedback option in your software. If something crashes, always submit the bug report to Microsoft because in turn they forward it to Adobe. Telling other users about it on these forums really doesn't help.
Engineering will fix things if they know what's causing them, but "it runs slow" is meaningless. Compared with what? Precisely which effects, media files or render settings affect the speed and which don't? Whose plugins, AV software, mouse drivers, display calibration apps and hard drives are you using? What other apps are running in the background? Which OS updates are applied and which are not? Adobe's beta testers do try to cover all the bases but it's impossible to test every configuration, and they don't have advance access to third-party software.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Trying to find a fix to the Windows Update issue with Windows 10 TP 9926 build and can't find the correct forum to post this question?
This will impact receiving the new build upgrades and will impact test strategy for the new supported OS in our desktop application.

Re: Tecra A10 - where are the release notes for updated BIOS?

Hi,
I have a problem with my Tecra A 10, it occassionally shuts itself down.
I've updated from BIOS 1.4 to BIOS 3.0 to see if this fixes it.
I can't find any release notes to see what has changed between BIOS revisions, can someone point me to them?

Thanks for that, exactly what I was looking for.
I won't know if it's fixed it or not until I run the laptop for a few days as it only happens every now and again.
I can already see faster boot times after the bios update though, which is one of the things listed in the bios change history so it was worth updating it.
The laptop is only a few months old, I checked the heat sink before I updated the bios as I read this shutdown problem can be caused by overheating due to a clogged heat sink but mine is clean already.
It also has a problem with the USB ports, sometimes when I plug in a USB device it blue screens, again not consistently, just every now and again. I'm hoping the bios update might help with that as well but still going to look at any other firmware that might help as well.

I have tested the two materials with two movement types of 601 and 954.
when i did the 601 movement type the consumption tab in the material master has updated automatically even though i haven't maintained forecasting tab, but where as for the movement type 954 the consumption tab is not updated even though i have maintained forecasting tab view in the material master.
Is the consumption view will update based on the Material movement types?
where is the control parameter for updating consumption tab?
