Where is the 8 points Mask in FCPX Ver 10.1 ?

Hi there,
I am on FCPX 10.1.
Can I know where is the 8 points Mask in FCPX Ver 10.1 ?
I tried locating in the Effects Panel but all it has under in the Keyer sub category is circle mask, image mask ... etc.
But I cannot find the 8 points mask.
Any ideas ?

How do I install it ? I do not have MTT and do not want to use MTT.
It says "If you don’t want to use MTT, install these effects in Home / Movies / Motion Templates / Effects / Keying:"

Four point mask in FCPX

I can not adjust the shape points in the four point mask for JPEG pictures. It works fine for video. I downloaded an eight point mask and it works fine for stills. Does the mask that comes in FCPX not work for JPEGS or do I have a corrupted installation. Appreciate hearing if anyone can adjust the mask shape that comes in FCPX when applied to a JPEG. I am using Snow Leopard on iMac 27" I7.

I thought this was a simple question so I am surpried there were no responses. I went to the Apple Store and tried the mask on their computers with same result. It doesn't work. Also tried a PNG with same result. Guess this is a legitimate bug.

One ? should suffice, and why the capital letters? Try to remain calm. I know Photoshop can be frustrating, but In the grand scheme of things your inability to find a control in an application you're using really doesn't need such emphasis... Please look up "netiquette" when you have a chance.
Try hovering your cursor over things and look at the ToolTip help balloons that pop-up.
You can add a Layer Mask by choosing Layer - Add Layer Mask from the menus.
If you're seeking the icon on which to click to begin painting on a Layer Mask, this is the one you want:
If you are talking about making layers visible or invisible, that's the little eyeball icon at the left of each layer in the Layers palette.

Where is the "brush pointer"?

I am using CS6 Extended on an HP DV7 laptop. I am taking a course in photoshop and need to use the sharpen tool in conjunction with a brush preset. The instructions say to click on the sharpen tool (ok I can do that) then to click on the sixth preset in the brush presets panel (okay I can do that) then drag the "Brush pointer" (a rectangle with rounded corners) across the area I need to sharpen. That's where I get stuck. I actually was able to do it the first time I tried, but now I can't find the "Brush pointer" again. I've tried several options but now I am just getting a circle, not the rectangle with the rounded corners.

I have been experiencing this same issue on a new mac mini running lion and aperture. Today I went to a local mac store and tried to recreate the issue on all of their machines, the result was that the Imacs and the 15 and 17 inch MBPs did not demonstrate the problem, however the 13 inch MBP and the 11 and 13 inch
MBAs both did. The machines demonstrating the problem were all dual core, and all utilising intel HD 3000.
I am satisfied that it is not an issue with corrupt software on my machine or faulty hardware specific to me.
Hopefully this can be remedied soon.

Where is the Unloading Point ABLAD description?

All,
I currently extract the unloading point code via the field ABLAD in table MSEG. The problem is that this returns just a numeric code. I believe there is a table somewhere that has the text description but I'm not aware of the table name. Does anybody have any ideas what it could be?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I guess we dont create any unloading points and assign it to plant and SL and use it during GR.
We enter Unloading point in MIGO in where tab is just the description of place Specifying the point at which the material is to be unloaded (for example, ramp 1).
If u can check thr is no help option available for that field in MIGO, so whatever u enter thr u will get it in ABLAD in MSEG

Nokia E6 - Where is the Access point setting for Y...

I have my Nokia E6 configured for my Corporate Email, MfE and it works fine. In the settings for MfE, I see a setting for Access Point, where I choose Internet with Priority 1 as my Home WLAN and Priority 2 as my GPRS connection.
Then, I started to configure my private Yahoo mail, evertyhing is done, it works fine, but I do not see any settings for Access Point for the Yahoo mail..
Does this mean it picks up the settings from MfE???
Can any other NOkia E6 users or experts comment on this??

There is no shared secret for the ACS itself.
If the ACS is going to communicate with another device, you have to define a AAA client and define a shared secret.
ACS 4, used that shared secret to protect/secure the replication, in ACS 5, the replication secured with encryption and not shared secrets(hash).

Really the landmark was record in favorites. But the landmark (all) did not appear yet. I can not see it in the map until now. They were record last week. However, when i try add the same marker again the map inform me the marker already exist.
I did not receive message about 24 hours only about more information. Perhaps the problem is the service does not work complete with my country or i should use internet explorer rather google chrome.

After installing Fire fox 23, I wanted to solve SSL error for secure web sites but unfortunately the Encryption button in not in the Advanced tab any more, could you please show me how to activate this feature again?

Current Firefox no longer have a user interface setting to disable TLS or SSL3, but you can make the change on the about:config page.<br />
SSL3 and TLS 1.0 are enabled by default in the current Firefox release.
You can set the security.tls.version.min and security.tls.version.max prefs to 0 to disable TLS (0 means SSL3)
You may need to close and restart Firefox after changing these prefs.

0 means SSL 3.0, 1 means TLS 1.0, 2 means TLS 1.1, etc.
Be cautious with activating TLS 1.1 because the fallback to lower protocols isn't implemented yet and Firefox will fail to connect if the server doesn't support it (i.e. Firefox will insist on using TLS 1.1).

Text effect where it has a pointer that motion tracks on the subject and anchors to the text?

I've tried many different search terms and had very little luck. I found one video where they use the beam but I think he was using a different version of after effects and I couldn't complete certain steps. I'm using after effects 2014 cc. Thanks!

Depending on the shot you could run AE's camera tracker and add the text so that it was locked to the camera move then track the object you wanted to add the pointer to and attach the start position of the beam effect to the text position and the other end to a null that had the tracker info.
If the camera tracker does not work out then you could stabilize the shot so that some object on the background didn't move then duplicate the stabilized shot, pre-compose the duplicate, then track the object in the shot you want to track. You would then apply that tracking data to a null, copy the null and paste it to the first comp. Then you would add your text layer to the stabilized shot and then add a solid with the beam effect. You would then attach one end of the beam to the null's position and the other end of the beam to the text. You end up with a stabilized shot the null that controls one end of the beam and the text layer stuck to the now not moving background. You add another null to the project and then tie the position of this new, let's call it destabilize, to the anchor point of your stabilized footage, use the keyframe assistant to convert the expression that ties the start end of the beam to the null to keyframes, then parent all layers to the null to put back the camera movement and track the other layers to the camera movement.
Got that? It's kind of confusing. The right technique depends entirely on the shot. If you can put the shot up on YouTube or Vimeo so we can see what you are trying to work with maybe we can give you a better idea.
Here's how to stabilize a shot, add some graphics, and then remove the stabilization using a null and simple expression.
I'm working on a more in-depth tutorial on this subject but it probably won't be up for a few days. In the mean time here's an animation preset that will work with this technique if you stabilize including stabilizing scale and rotation.

I have reset the preferences, cleaned up the file. Renamed it to another file and 2 weeks later it is doing the same thing. Luckily I had my main subjects as smart objects and it saved them. This second time I just closed it out and opened it again and it is fine. Anybody else have an issue with this? Also it runs really slow these days on my MacBook Pro Retina 2.6 Core i7 with 16gb Ram.

Anchor point in the Graph Editor and where are the Tips

Hello All,
What is the purpose of an anchor point in the Graph Editor when you have "Show Transform Box when multiple keyframes are Selected" engaged. The pointer automatically turns into a PanBehind tool. I moved it inside, outside, on the line and it doesn't seem to have any inpact on the scaling of the transform box. Not only that, it pops back to the center when you switch from "Edit Speed Graph" and "Edit Value Graph"
I haven't used the graph editor much, if ever and was also curious to know what/where are the graph tool tips. I haven't seen any difference when Show Graph Tool Tips is selected.
