Where is the 9ias proxy plugin?
I can't find the download anywhere.
It can be downloaded from the Oracle9iAS download page:

Where is the Photoshop Elements plugin folder?
For some reason one of my plugins does not install to Photoshop Elements and I was wondering if anyone knew where the folder is where I should manually copy the plugin. Thank you for your help!
Just one thing--is this PSE6? If so, are you sure the plug-in isn't installing? Many (probably most) plug-ins are too old to be universal. If you are getting a message that one or more plug-ins failed to load, that doesn't mean the install failed, just that you need to run PSE in rosetta when you want to use the plug-in.

Where is the dodge/burn plugin?
sorry guys i realise I'm probably being blind
where/how do you access the new plugin?Besides being able to edit with Photoshop (or another external editor of your choice), you now have the choice of Dodge & Burn as well. So, you choose it from this location and not the adjustments panel.

Where is the Warp Stabilizer plugin located in After Effects CS6 program files?
I need to delete the plugin temporarily to gain access to my project because it constantly crashes on start up due to the Warp Stabilizer.
NOt sure if you can actually remove it,but it should be in the plugins/extensions sub-folder inside the AE install folder. Anyway, try the usual troubleshooting first before taking such a radical step that may destroy AE and require a reinstall. Flush the caches, open the project with capslock and remove the effect.

Oracle Proxy Plugin - IIS - Certificates
I have a setup where IIS fronts for Oracle Application Server using the Oracle Proxy Plugin. I understand this is fairly routine, however; I have run into a situation where I need Client Certificate information pushed back to a single application on the Oracle Server. According to documentation, the plugin does not backend requests SSL even in an SSL environment. This effectively blocks certificate information from anything sitting behind the plugin. Has anyone found or created a clean workaround/alternative solution to this problem? Unfortunately, IIS has to remain in front and Oracle has to remain behind.
All,
Solved it myself and it works with OC4J only.

I have successfully configured iPlanet to serve as the front-end web server for 9iAS R2.
In my case, the iPlanet and the 9iAS reside in the same machine. So, that's mean I have to run two HTTP listeners (iPlanet and Oracle HTTP server) at the same time. Am I right?
Does anyone have similar configuration? What I concern about is the performance. Will the response time be doubled if all HTTP requests have to pass thru iPlanet first?
Thanks,
KaeHi Kae,
Glad to hear you've got the 9iAS Proxy Plug-In configured properly and working.
You are correct, you will be running both the iPlanet and Oracle HTTP Servers (OHS) -- the Proxy Plug-In will forward on the appropriate requests from iPlanet to OHS. Regarding performance, you shouldn't notice much of a hit since both web servers are on the same box. Also, depending on what activity you're performing in the app server itself (DB calls?, servlet execution, etc.) the percentage of time making the hop between iPlanet and OHS should be minimal when measured in the context of the total request/response time.
By making the hop to OHS, you continue to have the benefit of using mod_ocj4 to load balance across your OC4J's as well as still making use of 9iAS high availablity (OPMN) and clustering features (DCM).
Hope this helps...

Iplanet proxy plugin issue; simple but iam confused; Please Help !!
Hi All,
Iam using Iplanet proxy plug-in with BEA weblogic6.1. In simple terms. the iplanet webserver proxies any dynamic requests to the application tier(wls6.1)
And we have configured the proxy plug-in to show the debugging information on to __WebLogicBridgeConfig page.
Now, could somebody explain more about the "requests:" and "successful requests:" that is been shown on the iplanet proxy plugin's __WebLogicBridgeConfig ???
I mean i understand that "requests:" are the Total # of request that proxy plugin received. And "successful requests:" are the # of requests that went pass through to the wls server. But what happen to the requests which are UN successful requests .....i have seen the fugures like this:
"requests:2000" "successful requests:1900"
then what happened to these 2000-1900=100 requests.....why is there difference and why does this happen???
how can calculate these UNsuccessful requests in my iplanet proxy logs ???
please advise. I would really really appreciate your help on this.
-sanIn more simple terms and to eloborate more on what iam asking, how can an HTTP request become unsuccessful ?
Again, more specifically, is __WebLogicBridgeConfig shows information of unsuccessful for the application tier OR any unsuccessful requests for the web tier ?

Reverse proxy plugin vs load balancer plugin
Hi,
May i know what is the differents between reverse proxy plugin(passthrough) and load balancer plugin?
Regards
haw_9368The Load Balancer plugin was designed specifcally to allow the Web Server to be a HTTP end-point for Sun Application Server. It is an ancestor of the Reverse Proxy Plugin (generally this version was changed to be tolerant of HTTP from any origin server, and performance improvements, etc). This plugin further evolved and was integrated into Web Server 7.0.

Is there any way to debug the reverse proxy plugin? I am running the following plugin (info: PASS1000: Sun ONE Web Server 6.1SP3 Reverse Proxy Plugin B09/09/2004 11:59) on the following webserver( Sun ONE Web Server 6.1SP5 B06/23/2005 17:36).

only webserver is visible to internet & appserver is in intranet environment.
no one will give hit directly to appserver.
www.abc.com running on webserver on default port 80.If I type www.abc.com, displays its pages
when I type www.abc.com/bsd it should serve the pages on app server without changing url in the browser

Difference between reverse proxy plugin and java web proxy server
Hello
Can anyone please let me know what exactly is the difference between the reverse proxy plugin available with java system web server and the
java web proxy server.
Thanks
Manik Gupta. The features are very closely related. The most notable and obvious difference is that The Web Proxy Server reverse proxy makes use of a content cache, while the reverse proxy of the Web Server does not cache results.

WebLogic proxy plugin: getPooledConn: No more connections in the pool
Hi,
We have weblogic proxy plugin installed in Sun One web server. but frequently we are getting following errors in proxy log:
<1670612410085901> attempt #0 out of a max of 5
<1670612410085901> Trying a pooled connection for '<IP>/<port>/<port>'
<1670612410085901> getPooledConn: No more connections in the pool for Host [<IP>] Port[<port>] SecurePort[<port>]
Can anybody please tell how this proxy plugin manages connection pools? I don't find any minimum / maximum number of conection to mention anywhere or how exactly it works?Try increasing the "AcceptBackLog" settings on the weblogic server and then verify for any changed behavior.
Raise the Accept Backlog value from the default by 25 percent. Continue increasing the value by 25 percent until the messages cease to appear.

Load balancing by the proxy plugin
Has anyone encountered this before:
I have a cluster of two WLS 5.1 servers, hosting servlets that serve web
requests. The requests are proxied through a web server ( I have tried
Weblogic, Apache as well as IIS). I also have a tool that simulates
concurrent web requests and fires them to the proxy server.
As per documentation, as the load balancing while proxying requests to
servlets is round robin, I expect that the requests are uniformly
distributed across the two weblogic servers. But what I see is a bit
different. In one case I fired 15 requests and found that 11 went to first
server and 4 went to the other.
Second time when I fired again 2 of them went to the first server and 13 to
the second one. I would expect that around half of the total requests
should be routed to each server everytime so that there is a proper load
balancing done by the proxy. I have not changed any configuration related
to the default load balancing algorithm. So I expect it is round-robin.
Has anyone encountered this before ? This happens to me irrespective of
which proxy server I use (i.e which proxy plugin I use). Is there some
other configuration required and I am missing something or is there some
inherent problem with the load balancing of the proxy plugins. Any info
would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
MainakCould you post this in weblogic.developer.interest.plug-in? This group is for

Reverse proxy plugin does not like the POST method
My second tier is not functionning properly when placed behind a S1WS6 with reverse proxy
Client ====== SunOne web server with Passthrough ====== .NET app server & web services.
The web server configuration (reverse proxy libpassthrough.so) is configured and is working correctly when it comes to requesting normal pages, however a problem arises when the request is made either by:
1- Invoking a web service on the .Net tier, or
2- The .Net tier performs a server.transfer call within the same .net server (Page transfer)
Keep in mind that the .Net tier works fine when not accessed through the reverse proxy.
It seems that when a POST method is invoked, a Session Close is sent before data is sent back !!
We tried to isolate the problem from different angles but came up short, the http server log shows that the request was made
192.168.2.7 - - [14/Jul/2004:14:10:56 +0300] "POST /wavedms2.0/TestWebService/TestService.asmx HTTP/1.1" 100 0
Although response 100 indicates that it is waiting for more, while the web service error shows the following:
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.WebClientProtocol.GetWebResponse(WebRequest request)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.HttpWebClientProtocol.GetWebResponse(WebRequest request)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)
at TestWebService.oWebService.MyWebSvc.HelloWorld()
at TestWebService.Form1.button1_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)
In general, any page that uses POST method faces the same problem.I appreciate any help you can provide us with a solution on this issue. The Application Server plugin, libpassthrough.so, was designed to connect Web Server to Application Server. Unfortunately, it does not work with IIS which sends unsolicited "HTTP/1.1 100 Continue" responses.
