Do you have Yahoo mail on your PC? If you do, the same email with the attachment will be there. Otherwise, there are programs you can download such as Dropbox on iPad and dropbox on your PC, which permits file sharing between the two devices. A quick question for the download location of the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file for version 10g (10.1.3.2 or later).
I am going through the Oracle WebCenter Framework Tutorial 10g (10.1.3.2.0) (document id B31072-02) to gain an understanding of the working mechanism of portlets. The tutorial requires the use of the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file to set up the sample application, and points to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/files/webcentertutorialcontent.zip for downloading the file.
But that page has been updated to 11g. I was able to find the archived old versions of webcenter, but not that zip file.
It would very much appreciated if someone knows and let me know where it is.

This is from the 10g version...
You are right that 11g applications does not run on a 10g app server. Oracle 11g fusion middelware uses weblogic as an application server. This does not use the OC4J container anymore.
11g and 10g have a different licence so if you are using 10g and you want to use 11g, you need to buy a licence for weblogic and so on.
If you are currently looking into the use of webcenter/portlets and you are planning to use it later on, than oracle will propose 11g because i don't think 10g is supported... I don't think you can buy a webcenter 10g license..
By the way... You can install jdeveloper 11g in a sepperate middelware folder than your 10g version. This means that you easily can use them together. If you are planning on using webcenter, the best thing to do is install jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 (latest stable version) and install the webcenter extension. This allow you to easily create portlet producers and webcenter applications. You can easily deploy them on the integrated server. This is a lot easier than in the 10g release.

Where Can I Find the classes.zip File?

I am looking for the JDBC driver for the Oracle database. I have been to the http://www.oracle.com to look for the classes12.zip and could not find it. Has the name of the zip file changed for Oracle JDBC 10.1.0?

There are two parts: the java version and the database version.
This would normally be: classes11.zip, classes12.zip and ojdbc14.jar.
You should probably be using the last. The first two would be for earlier versions of the database and java.
If you install the Oracle client it should have it (look for a jdbc dir.)
There is some place to download it from the otn site as well.

Where does the problem lie? Also can anyone tell me the hierarchy of use between the Apple Maps, SIRI, and Google maps when the app is on the phone? How do you choose one over the other as the default map usage? Or better still how do you suppress SIRI from using the Apple maps app when requesting a "go to"?
I have placed an address location into the CONTACTS list and when I ask SIRI to "take me there" it found a TOTALLY different location in the metro area with the same street name. I have included the address, the quadrant, (NE) and the ZIP code into the CONTACTS list. As it turns out, no amount of canceling the trip or relocating the address in the CONTACTS list line would prevent SIRI from taking me to this bogus location. FINALLY I typed in Northeast for NE in the CONTACTS list (NE being the accepted method of defining the USPS location quadrant) , canceled the current map route and it finally found the correct address. This problem would normally not demand such a response from me to have it fixed but the address is one of a hospital in the center of town and this hospital HAS a branch location in a similar part of town (NOT the original address SIRI was trying to take me to). This screw up could be dangerous if not catastrophic to someone who was looking for a hospital location fast and did not know of these two similar locations. After all the whole POINT of directions is not just whimsical pasttime or convenience. In a pinch people need to rely on this function. OR, are my expectations set too high?
How does the iPhone select between one app or the other (Apple Maps or Gppgle Maps) as it relates to SIRI finding and showing a map route?
Why does SIRI return an address that is NOT the correct address nor is the returned location in the requested ZIP code?
Is there a known bug in the CONTACTS list that demands the USPS quadrant ID be spelled out, as opposed to abreviated, to permit SIRI to do its routing?

Where is the binary data of this icon stored and retrieved from Application server?

Today I observed one phenomenon and could not explain it per my knowledge.
I have one url which points to an icon in application server:

I could successfully open it via chrome:
and after that I could see an entry in ICM server cache. Everything works perfectly.
Then I tried to check this icon in mime browser in SE80. To my surprise, the folder /sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/themes is empty.
However, the ICM cache shows that there is a subfolder called "sap_corbu" under "themes" folder. But why I cannot find it in mime browser?
Then I write a report to retrieve the binary data of icon via CL_HTTP_CLIENT, and clear the ICM buffer via tcode SMICM.
I expect this time some database table will be queried to load the content of the icon, since now the buffer is not available.
To my surprise again, in SAT no database table is involved.
So now I am confused: since I have already cleared the ICM server cache, where does the icon binary data come from when I run the report to access the icon?

Hello guys,
one colleague today told me that there is a zip file "ur_mimes_nw7.zip" in MIME repository /PUBLIC/BC/UR/ur_mines_nw7.zip. I download it locally and unzip it and indeed find many theme folders including sap_corbu folder and its resource files. So I guess there must be some logic done in web application server which will unzip this archive file and put each theme folder to the corresponding folders in application server. I would assume those logic are done outside ABAP stack side, this is the reason I cannot find any hint of them in ABAP backend via tcode SAT even I clear both client and server side cache.

Metalink note 1074144.1 says the example staticports.ini is in Disk1/stage/Response of the media (ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.4.0_disk1_1of2) but it is not there, where can I get an example of this file?

I downloaded "Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer 11g Patch Set 3 (11.1.1.4.0) for Linux x86-64" from edelivery and search the entire zip, but found no staticports.ini, but I did find one in "Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer 11g (11.1.1.2.0) for Linux x86-64 (Part 1 of 4)", however this example does not contain entires for configuring the ports of SOA and OSB weblogic servers, have you any idea where I can find a example of these, or detailed doumentation on all the valid keys in this file?

Where is the mod_jk2.dll?

I'm trying to install jk2 connector.
My problem is that in the .zip distribution on Jakarta site, I can't find the mod_jk2.dll that must be given to httpd.conf in Apache.
Instead of it, I find a mod_jk2.so, which is the Unix/Linux equivalent.
I tried to use anyway the .so file, but without success (I also tryed to rename it to .dll).
Please if anyone knows where to get this mod_jk2.dll tell me.
Or I must compile this file by myself.

Use the mod_jk2.so and put it in the apache2/modules folder.
In the httpd.conf add the line : LoadModule jk2_module modules/mod_jk2.so
right where all the other modules are specified.
This works for me with Apache 2 and Tomcat 5.
Don't forget to fix up a workers2.properties file (to be put in Apache2/conf folder)

Where is the oracle.xml.sql.query package?

I have downloaded the xmlparser_v2_0_2_9.zip. I hoped I have everything to compile the example for retrieving XML document with an sql query. However, the jar file is missing the entire package oracle.xml.sql.query which contains for instance the crucial class OracleXMLQuery. Does anyone know where I could get this package - is it part of another download that I have to do, or can I buy it anywhere? Thanks for your help.

Where do the installer files go???

I have a laptop and a Mac Pro. The laptop travels to the office and other locations where I have great internet access. Downloading and updating my CC apps on the laptop is not a problem. The MacPro lives at home where, for the most part, we have download speeds that are pitiful. I've been downloading CC since 4 AM. It's now noon. So far only 2 apps have installed. The connection often drops when I'm away from the machine and the App manager has to be restarted.
So is there a way to download the latest updates as a dmg or zip file on my laptop and transfer them to the Mac Pro? Where do the installers go and are they erased after the product downloads?
I handled all of the CS6 and earlier product downloads and updates by downloading to a thumb drive. I see no options on the new CCloud app to do that. This could be a serious problem for many users.
