Where is the App Store in IOS 7.1.2? After I installed 7.1.2 the App Store disappeared! HELP

I Just downloaded IOS 7.1.2 and now my App Store is gone. Ia their a way to fix it? PLEASE HELP!

Still uses the same icon, the stylized A in a blue circle.
Try swiping down from the top of the home page so you get the search field at the top and the keyboard...type App Store and see if it brings it up for you.
An alternate approach is Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout to bring it back to the home screen.

AIR Runtime redistributable documentation mentions the ARH (AIR Runtime Helper) which is a tool that can detect which version of the AIR runtime and which version of my app is installed on the user's machine. However I cannot find this utility anywhere - it's not avaiable on the Run-time redistribution page or AIR SDK page.
Where this utility is supposed to be?

IPod VIDEO? Where's the video? Pls help..

SO here's the deal. I have TONS of movies and videos and I have yet to get 1 single thing to work on the iPod. They are MPEG4's or .mp4 and I have tried various other formats with no luck. I am unable to even get the movies to load into the movies section of itunes, so I can never sync them. I tried the whole senario on my PC and I was able to get the movies into the library, but would still not load onto the ipod. Any help or suggestions would be helpful at this point. Thanks!

Where did the microphone button disappeared?

I bought yesterday an Iphone 4s and I liked the fact that you can dictate instead of writing, whenever the keyboard appears. I restored everything I had on my old 3gs mobile and, after I did that, the microphone button disappeared. I upgraded the software but still... it's not there. What can I do to have it back?

That means you have moved to FCP X 10.1.1.
It uses the new Library model and the Projects button is gone along with the Projects folder.
Search this forum for how to update from older versions.
Done the correct way it's trouble free whereas the incorrect way leads to headaches.

Where are the photos gone? Help!

Hi, maybe this is a known topic, but stilll...
I have iPhoto 7.1.1
I wanted to have some photos in a separate iPhoto library
I duplicated the actual iPhoto Library
I opened the original iPhoto Library and deleted the some photos and web gallery albums
Then I opened the copy of the iPhoto Library. It isempty!
Then I opened a backup of the original iPhoto Library on an external volume. This was empty too!
The same gose for anothe iPhoto Library I used to order calendars, it is now empty.
How can I recover the original Photos?

How did you duplicate your original library? Open the duplicate library package like this, look inside the Originals folder and see if your photos are there.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

A few general advices for the forums:
- Use code tags when posting code.
- Be more specific than "it doesn't work". Tell what result you get! A compile error? Say so, and give the error. An exception during runtime? Say so, and give the stacktrace. It compiles and runs, but gives unexpected results? Say so, and tell both what results you expected and what you get.
I think your problem is that you try to use '==' for String comparison. That won't work, use String.equals() instead.

Where is the 'audio alert' to help if jetpack gets lost

If Jetpack 5510 gets lost, it says you can go to the access admin web interface, then from the advance tab, click audio alert, and it will beep for 10 seconds.

2. I could not find an "advance tab"--where is it?
3. Where it asks my admin password, where to I find that? All I find on my Jetpack is 5 asterisks.

I'm looking for the CR devloper help file - the one that documents the object model for programming against CR from .Net. Any ideas?
Would be good if CR installed a helpfile link in the Start menu > Programs etc like other products.

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPhone a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the "i" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPhone (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

Where is the install package stored from the app store for Lion?

This is an all new way of deploying OS updates from Apple. From what I can see, this presents some issues:
1. Where is the install package that I bought from the app store, and how can I save that offline?
2. If there's a problem with my device in the future, I have no media of Lion to restart from- so what's the procedure to restore from a TM backup? Go back to 10.6, and then to the 10.7 update?
3. What if I want to boot from disc or a drive? I don't have a copy of the install to make a bootable image.

OK, once you install Lion the Installation Package gets deleted. However once you have installed Lion, do following:
- Open the AppStore Application
- With pressed Option (on German Keyboard ALT) Key klick on the "Purchased" Tab!
- You will now see that the prviously greyed out "Install" key for Lion becomes active
- Download the install package
- Do not start installation
- In order to create a bootable DVD or USB drive containing the installer follow instructions posted on

This is how you can create installation media.
For maintenance options (means your Lion installation has some problems but your drive is still OK)
you can boot from the hidden recovery partitions that was created when you installed Lion.
To do so, press the Option (ALT) Key while booting. You will have now the option to boot from
Lion or recovery partition.

Where is the option "Store only headlines" in Mail.app on Mavericks? I used to store all messages on gmail servers. Mail.app on Mountain Lion has feature to load only headlines of e-mails from Gmail. Now It's gone and with new OS Mavericks, I've got 10Gb of mail on my Mac locally.

This problem is slowly killing my machine! I 'upgraded' to a better spec machine so I could synch my phone would you believe it. I couldn't synch my phone and my laptop with a cable, that was fankly incredible.
Now I have a new machine and first thing I did was install mavericks, and now mac mail spends all it's time dowloading mail from may mail accounts. I have 4 imap gmail accounts set up and mail is using 56GB on my local disc to store them.
There use to be an option to limit the disc storage I think 5GB would be quite enough to hald the last few months email locally. Question is how do I set that limit in mavericks. Is there some plist I can edit or something.
Looking at the activity window it seems to spend A LOT of time
"updating cache directory"
I don't think I even have 56GB staore on the server, so how is it possible that I have more on the local copy?
