Where is the autoplacer function / menu in Ultiboard 9 ????

Hello, I am using Multisim and Ultiboard 9 and I am looking fo the AUTOPLACER function where the program wil automatically place the components on the circuit board for you...however I can't find this menu/function anywhere? I am using the Power Pro version. Also, is there a way to put the Auto route functions in the main menu at the top of the window? Right now all I have is two little 'Icons" in toolbar form, one to start the internal router and one to stop it...but again, no autoplacer. Thanks

In V9, the router that comes with Ultiboard is limited to 2 layers. The Ultiroute version that is sold separately gives you more layers and if you purchased the power pro, it has the autoplacer in there.
In V10, if you installed the power pro version of Ultiboard, it will have the autolacer in there.

Where has the search function gone from the forums? I have been using it frequently lately because I am setting up a Powerbook 1.5 g4 with FCP 5.1.4 and it is the best way to find answers for "legacy systems" such as mine.

I am not sure what you are upset about, it's all right there in front of you nothing hidden. It is simply an option on the way the toolbars are displayed, if you don't like one way do it another or select customize and make it the way you want.
And I would think if you have been using Mozilla browsers that long you would have realized by now the toolbars can be modified.

Where is the pause function in scout? I want to pause the monitor, then restart the same one. But it only gave me a new session.

There is no pause function at the moment. For most of the data settings (especially if you only use low overhead settings like basic telemetry and the ActionScript sampler), the amount of data is very low, so you can run Scout for a long time without running out of memory (I've run Scout profiling content continuously for more than a day, with it using only about a gigabyte of memory).
For the high overhead settings, memory is more of a problem. For Stage3D, you can start it in "delayed" mode (choose from the dropdown - "immediate" is the default). This still captures all the Stage3D commands, but doesn't load them into memory until you click "start recording" in the Stage3D Rendering panel. When it does, it constructs a condensed version of the earlier commands, so you can still replay subsequent frames (it has all your textures, etc), but without using as much memory. You can only do this once though - there's no way currently to start and stop Stage3D recording.

Photoshop CC video: Where is the audio flyout menu? I want to set the audio level of a clip but when I click the little triangle the flyout only offers Motion options, no audio.

I created a video clip by ripping from a (non-protected) DVD & brought it into Photoshop CC for editing. I want the audio to fade in & out but cannot find any audio controls!
The info I've found online says to click the little triangle at the right end of the clip & I should get the audio flyout menu, but all I get is a menu with "Motion" options.
Please help!! Where are the audio options I see on the tutorials?

The audio was indeed in there; I could hear it! But I found the fix:
Some Googling revealed that the timeline video sprites should appear *blue*, not purple as in my screenshot. I'm not sure how that happened, but I scrapped the project & restarted from scratch - and though I can't say what I did differently, this time the video sprite in the timeline was blue, and the audio flyout was there! So it's all good, thanks!

Where is the search function in the iTunes store in this latest version?

Since downloading the latest version of iTunes, I cannot find the "search" function in the ITunes store, to search for apps, movies, etc. Can someone please tell me where this is now located? Frustrating and really hate this new version. Why did they change a perfectly decent product?

Actually, not on mine. All there is in the upper right hand corner is a list of my history - but no search function. Any ideas as to how I can make it appear in the upper right corner?

2) How would I restore e.g. a particular photo from a backup I made with Time Machine? I can see how this is done with Word documents, but can't see how to do it with photos?

1. The Time Machine icon is on the menu bar.
2. If you want to do that with individual photos, it's the same way as for documents. If you want to do it with iPhoto, you have to restore the whole iPhoto library, not only one photo

HT3500 Where is the base station menu?

Trying to connect my Lexmark prospect pro250 to my new Airport Extreme over wi fi... I read that I should go into the airport utility and find "add wi fi printer" from the base station menu... But this option doesn't show up. When I click on the pic of my Airport Extreme there is an edit button that opens to what looks like a base station menu but no options for adding anything except "Back to my Mac". Can anyone help?

You are likely confusing the Base Station menu (top of screen) with the Base Station tab (center of screen)
When you click on the AirPort Extreme icon and then click Edit.......follow the instructions to click on the Base Station menu.
That would be at the very top of the computer screen up where the other menus are located.....File, Edit, Window Help, etc.

Where is the categories function?

I can't find the categories function in numbers 3.0. It was very helpful, is there a new function replacing it?

Here's an example where a user has a log of time worked on jobs for different clients. He wants a breakout table with total hours worked by client...
Of course you could have more statistics for each client, and different category lists. The advantage to this approach is that you don't have to turn off one category column to see another. Just make another table.

Have been looking in forums and in the users guide, but it says that i should click "Functions" and then "Normalise", but couldn't find them.

Click on the Sample Editor tab(bottom left on the Arrange window next to Mixer) or open the Sample editor window (you have to select the region you want to apply this function 1st)and in the Sample Editor's Menu select Functions>Normalize (it's the 1st on the Functions menu) or the default Key command is Ctrl + N

Where is the "General Options" menu?

Hi, I'm a new Blackberry user and I just purchased a Pearl 8110. I noticed that when I place a call, my number comes up as "Private" or "Unknown" to the person receiving the call. I looked it up in the manual and it said to go to the "General Options" menu from the options menu. Guess what, my phone doesn't have a "General Options" menu!! Has anyone else seen this issue? before I contact support I figured I'd check with you guys. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
