Where is the bar where i can type-in a website to go to? Its missing at the top?

firefox on my old computer had the box with "http//www." where I could type-in a website address and go directly to the site. this is not on the Mozilla Firefox page when I bring it up. Also on the old computer when I went to the internet through Firefox, MSN page came up on screen. This does not happen now with this new Firefox on my new computer - how come?

My old Firefox used to show the website being visited and one could type in a website to change to another website. The new Firefox does not have this feature. How do I change my new Firefox so that I can type in a web address. This used to be at the top of the page.

I am trying to figure out where I can type my papers? Like word for mac?

Apple does not yet have the software market locked up.
LibreOffice opens and saves in open standards, .doc and most formats available, unlike Pages. This gives you a much better chance of recovering your work should something go wrong or should Apple decide to abandon Pages because it isn't interested anymore.

If you are having issues launching Safari on your iPad after a recent update, you may want to try resetting the saved information in Safari. You may find the following helpful:
Follow these steps to clear information from your device:

I would like to make a form where I can type a word and it would replace it in the form

Hello,
I am looking to create a coverpage for a 150 page project document. I have the document written already, but would like the ability to make a cover page where I or someone else could fill in the projects location, company name and have those specifics, replace in the generic that I have in the document. I guess the closest discriptor I have would be the find-replace function in Word based on what is typed in the cover page field.
I hope I am clear on what I am after as I was unable to find anything based on what I was asking. If anyone knows how or what product to use that would be great.

Can someone tell me PLEASE how to get to where i can type in my wi-fi password? i can pull up my network, but when i click on it it does nto give me the option to put in my password

this is really irritating me, i can pull up my network, i an see that it has the lock by it. but i can not for the life of me figure out how to put my password in for my wi fi...i know i know prolly a stupid question but please help!

Reset the network settings in Settings/General/Reset and you'll be able again to put in your password.
Remember that this will reset the passwords for all networks you connected to up to this point.

You're computer gets a virus everytime you download itunes? Seriously, no, it doesn't. What makes you think it does?
And you will need to upgrade iOS on teh iPad to get many apps of the type you state you need.

Router Can't see My Website Anymore since changing its DNS

Neither my old Panther G5 nor my new Macbook running Leopard can see my website anymore since I changed its DNS settings (after server failure we had to move).
I use a Belkin 4-port router FSD5231-4, which sees all other websites on the web now, but not mine. Everyone else in the world, except me, can see http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org.
when mac is plugged straight into the cable modem it sees the website fine. Only when the router is in the mix, does the site go awol.
Belkin said I had to download an .exe file in order to reset the MTU settings. After I insisted there must be a way without using .exe, he said to go into Mac settings to reset MTU to 1400 (the ideal range is 1400-1500). When Apple support showed me how to get in to change the setting of MTU, we found it was already set to 1500, and didn't change the outcome.
Good News Network is still awol.
I looked on Belkin for firmware updates but my model number (above) returns "No documents found". I think updating would be a great idea.
Also, I tried resetting w the little hole in the back, but nothing changed (the paper clip wasn't able to push in the back of the hole at all, it seemed).

You shouldn't need to change the MTU on your router, nor should you need to factory reset it; a simple power cycle of it should be all you need if it's got your old DNS information cached.
I suspect your Mac may have the address cached as well.
Try shutting down your Mac, power cycling the router, then booting the Mac and see if that works.

In my Firefox page I only can type in a subject in Google Search, so where do I type in a particular web site

Use the "Alt" key to temporarily display menus
View > Toolbars > ...
make sure the Location bar is checkmarked
Ctrl+L should bring up the location bar even if not shown,
and will place the cursor inside the entry area.

Firefox can not load YouTube Website

I put youtube.com in address bar and Firefox can not load youtube website. It eventually times out. Any suggestions? I have tried clearing the cache, closing firefox and re-opening, downloaded firefox again, and the same problem persists.

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
