You have probably downloaded the standalone version and installed it. It will have to be removed,, and then you will be able to install from the CC application manager.

All the music in itunes has a little footprint beside it. My old phone - 3GS has all my music there and playing fine. But if I try to synch with itunes it says it will synch from itunes to iphone and so am worried I will lose all my music from iphone too. New iphone has synched fine in every other way - contacts apps etc. But no music! How to remove the Coupon from the Order.

I am working with order cancellation part ,so I am facing one issue i.e when order gets cancelled I have to remove the coupon from that order and that coupon should be available or used for future.
Please guide me how to do this.

You can fetch the promotion from the coupon to be removed by quering the repository and then remove the promotion from the profile using the method
removePromotion(MutableRepositoryItem pProfile, RepositoryItem pPromotion, boolean pRemoveAll) in PromotionTools component.
Do remember to iterate if there are multiple promotions associated with the Coupon.
Also remember , this might cause some anamolies in the reports as you cannot reprice the order and only we can remove the promotion from the profile so that he can use it once more for a order.

I have a quick question relating to the difference in SELECT statements and the use of FOR UPDATE NOWAIT.
Example:
If I query the following
SELECT * FROM ZX_LINES WHERE APPLICATION_ID = :B4 AND ENTITY_CODE = :B3 AND EVENT_CLASS_CODE = :B2 AND TRX_ID = :B1
/ with binds parsed, the result in Autotrace is as follows:
consistent gets     87
consistent gets - examination     2
consistent gets from cache     87
However, if I query the following

/ the results in Autotrace are:

So, I'm trying to understand why it happens that a FOR UPDATE NOWAIT requires so many more consistent gets, as opposed to not using a FOR UPDATE?

The main difference is that when you use FOR UPDATE Oracle has to LOCK each row.
How many rows will your query return?
Did you notice that in the second example ALL of the consistent gets were from the cache?
Did you notice all of the block gets? And that ALL of them were from the cache?

Adapter for MD-1 Music Stand for Nokia 6500 Slide

I currently Own a Nokia Music Stand MD-1 that has a Pop Port connection. I use it with my Nokia 6280 Phone. I am thinking of Upgrading my phone to a Nokia 6500 Slide and want to know if there is an adapter I can purchase so I can continue to use my MD-1 Music Stand with the new Phone as the connections are different on the base of the new phone. Has Nokia produced this or does anyone know where I can get one.

I've came across with people that encountered such problem after upgrading to latest version of pcsuite(foreign language version) & were able to recover by running the Pcsuite cleaner & installing the English version. Why don't you give it a shot.

Just updated my old iphone4, it as no sim card in, as i use it mainly for playing music.updated it to ios7 and when i intially open it up, it asked for a sim lock code.was'nt sure of this. i put the passlock code in. now its asking for a PUK code.

I've just updated my old iphone4 to ios7. this phone as no sim card, as i use it more like an ipod..after the update it ask for a code, i put in the passlock code.
Unbeknown to me the sim lock and the passlock codes were different! as the sim as been deactiavted by my carrier they cant give me a PUK code!
I'm now stuck with a phone i cant use

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. Well, two thoughts.
The battery has completely discharged and will take overnight to recharge, so don't expect much in an hour.
The battery has deep discharged and is now dead. It will never recharge and should be replaced.

They are used for the rare promotion or upgrade offers.
The only time I've ever seen a use for them is when you purchase a computer with a previous version of the Mac OS when a newer version is already available.
You can submit one of the coupons with the upgrade form to obtain the new version at a reduced price.
That's about the only benefit I've ever seen for them.
Apple calls this program something like "Mac OS Up To Date" (something along those lines).
To illustrate, say you purchased an iMac right after OS 10.4 came out, and discovered that the iMac was packaged-up prior to OS 10.4 being available (like it sat on a shelf for a while). So, you've got OS 10.3 installed on it.
Now, you purchased a new computer, obviously you want the latest OS to go with it.
So, because you purchased a new machine with an old OS, you can use the OS Up To Date program to order upgrade disks to OS 10.4 for only $20 or $30 instead of the $129 everyone else pays.
It's not really a fair deal for a person who just purchased a new computer. But, it's better than getting stuck with paying $129.
So, you would fill out the upgrade form, and submit your coupon with it.
The same thing applies to if you purchased the system after the new version of iLife was available. You might be able to get the new version of iLife at a reduced price.
Apple usually runs this program for about 90 days after a new software version is available.
They used to work it the other way:
When I purchased my PowerMac G3 266-DT, they had a program that allowed you to upgrade to the new version of the Mac OS for $19 or $29 (can't remember for sure the $ amount) if it was released within 90 days of you purchasing your computer.
I took advantage of that, and got a reduced-price upgrade to OS 8.5 from OS 8.1.
That method makes more sense to me than the current method.
It makes sense to get a reduced price on updates that arrive up to 90-days from your date of purchase.
But, it is not such a good deal to have to pay for updates that were already available at the time of purchase and should have been included with your new computer. After-all, it's not your fault that the computer sat on the shelf too long.
But, that's how it works now. The coupons basically get you a discount on software updates that were shipping on new systems when you purchased your new computer that had been boxed-up before the new software was released.
As for cheaper .Mac prices, the only options I know of are:
1) You get a $30 discount on it when you purchase a new Mac. So, when you setup the Mac, you are usually presented with an option to sign-up for .Mac with a discount.
2) Amazon sometimes runs a special on it.
3) You might be able to get a .Mac retail box from someone who purchased it and then changed their mind. But, don't buy a box that has been registered already.
Be very careful buying products like .Mac second-hand. There is no way to know that they have not already used the registration code until after you receive it and try to register it yourself.

10.2 provided the most recent (and now desupported) version, for mac os 10.5. A version for Lion (note: not Mountain Lion) was planned but did not make it.
Perhaps a 11.2 version comes before year end, or it will be in shape of 12.1, some time after the main platforms get released after OOW 2012 in october.

What version of OSX is on the older one?

I have changed my apple id to a new one. I deleted the old email for the old apple id which is in yahoo. the new one is with gmail. I ahve changed the apple id on my phone. still theres a prompt always asking me to give my password for my old apple id.

In my previous iphone i have created an apple id connected to my yahoo email which is also my icloud id obviously. I decided to delete my yahoo email and changed it to gmail. I have changed my apple id as well. Now here is my problem. I have iphone 5 now. im trying to restore all my data through i cloud. Considering i have changed my email apple id etc, the old apple id is still showing. I have changed it online and deleted the yahoo apple id. but still on my phone its asking for the password of my yahoo apple id which no longer exist. Its bugging me off as i went to apple store and they dont know what to do as well. i tried restoring everything to orginal setting but once i get to the icloud bit, its all the same. up to now its asking for the old apple id password. I dont know how i can delete that as theres no button to delete it on the phone. i cant even restore my photos.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
