Where is the developer demo in Linux?

Hi all.
I am wondering where to get all the demo files as shown here:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28395/ociabdem.htm#g462659
On my Linux 10.2 oracle XE, there are only these files:
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo/cdemo81.c
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo/demo_xe.mk
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo/occidemo.sql
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo/occidml.cpp
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo/occiobj.cpp
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo/occiobj.typ
/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/rdbms/demo/odbcdemo.c
I wanna read the demo program for connection pooling.
Thanks
Wei

Best to check over in the DATABASE forum for this: it is a database issue, not an operating system problem.

  • Where is the Developer inp

*Note: This is a repost for the Portable Media Forums about the Zen Vision:M, but I feel it pertains to this board and applies to other devices as well. Seeing how some of you don't visit the other board, here it is...
With the multitudes of "problematic" posts and posts which identify befuddling limitations, where is the developer input? We are rightfully curious as to which direction the next firmware update is heading yet our complaints/inquiries/frustrations have resulted in the dev-team to respond with... complete silence.
We are NOT asking for up-to-the-minute updates round-the-clock, just some mention of what bugfixes and features they are shooting for. Really, just a response affirming which issues they are aware of and offering NO timeline for fixing, would suffice.
Besides the current problems common to all players, I have not had one LICK of trouble with mine. I absolutely adore it, and for thousands of people who have already bought one I would venture to guess they do as well. We are here to address issues about this player because we believe. We believe in the ZV:M. We believe in the direction Creative has taken for its next-gen media devices (this is my first Creative product). Yet, we also believe in customer service and relations. Where has this gone?
We do not demand answers that shouldn't already have been dutifully responded too. We only plead for information on a product we purchased in good will and faith, from a company whose crusade against the iPod we support.
I do strictly charge Creative with the task of interacting with its customers and revolutionizing the way in which MP3 players will be concei'ved from this day forth. Work with us and we will surpass the 'iSpawn' generation.Message Edited by Ma_USMC on 03-3-20062:6 PM

  • Where does the source code of linux reside in arch

Just wonder where is the source code. In freebsd, all the source code is in /usr/src, does arch have that directory? or do I need to install something to get source code?

tomk wrote:Arch does not install the source code for anything. Under /usr/src/linux-2.6.17-ARCH, you will find the kernel headers required for building other apps, but apart from that, if you want the source code for the kernel or any of the apps, you need to get it from the relevant website/ftp server/etc e.g. kernel.org for kernel source.
no, those headers in there are for kernel modules only. the headers for applications are a sanitised copy based on 2.6.12 and exist in /usr/include/linux.
As for the source to Arch packages, we have something similar to fbsd's ports system (ports is on fbsd isnt it or am I wrong), it's called abs:

  • URGENT : Where is the Developer Server ?

I downloaded the trial version of developer/developer server from
this site. i installed all the components of the file, and i
seem to have the entire developer part. However, i can't seem to
find the developer server part. does anybody know how i can
start the developer server in standalone mode ? where are the
executables associated with the server? is there any
documentation about the server config ? is the server even
included in the trial download ?
    Appreciate any help...

    Chet,
Once installed, there is nothing immediately obvious which tells
you that Developer Server is on the machine - i.e. there is
nothing in the START menu. I haven't seen anything in Oracle
Installer's 'List of installed products' which I can easily
identify as the 'Developer Server'. However it is now "happily"
installed on my machine, and probably on yours too.
To be on the safe side, you could rerun the installation and
take the 'deployment installation' option when prompted for
    'Development Installation','Deployment Installation' or 'Custom'.
On the next screen, choose 'Server Install'
This should then ensure you have the server installed on your
    machine.
(The Developer Server copy I'm using is the one issued on the
"Internet Development Tools Technology Track", which is
effectively a trial, if that helps answer part of the question)
You can check if you have at least got the Forms Server
installed by typing the following at the Dos prompt:
    ifsrv60 -install MYSERVER
    You should be prompted with
'FRM-60001:Do you want to install 'Developer Forms Server
    [MYSERVER]' as an NT service?'
If you were to respond YES to this, it would create a Forms
Server service in Control Panel-Services which you would then
    need to go and start.
Before doing this, however, I would recommend reading the
"Oracle Developer and Oracle Developer Server 6.0 Reviewers
    Guide" available from TechNet at:
    http://technet.oracle.com/product/tools/dev2k/rguide60.zip
It's a bit of a hefty download, but worth it, and gives a good
tour of other things you'll need to do in order to get things
    working.
    Hope this helps
    regards

  • Where are the developer resources and documents?

    Hi,
I search for that document http://developer.sonyericsson.com/community/docs/DOC-3086. Why have you removed it? Many sites refer to that document.
Who has a copy of that document?
    Thanks in advance.

I don't know the exact content or the title of the documents, therefore I search for it.

  • Where is the developer version of SQL 2012

    Hi,
This seems to have been asked a lot but I can't find a definitive answer.
I purchased a copy of SQL2008R2 (Developer) from Amazon a few years ago and I would like to upgrade it to 2012.  Looking on
MS sites it appears that there is only; Express, Standard and Enterprise versions available now.
However on my work PC I have a 2012 developer edition which was downloaded via an MSDN subscription.
So, where does a private individual buy/upgrade their copy?

    Hello,
To upgrade SQL Server developer to 2012 developer you need to do inplace upgrade.
    1. You need to buy valid copy of SQL Server 2012 developer edition ,link given by Uri will be helpful
2.You need to patch your SQL server 2008 r2 to SP1/Sp2 to upgrade.RTM upgrade is not suported.
3 Run upgarde advisor to see if any issues will occur during upgrade
    3. You need to run SQL Server 2012 developer setup.exe file as administrator and when installation window appears you need to select maintenance on that page you need to select Edition upgrade.
Below link will help you.Its upgrade about trial edition but same applies to developer as well.

  • Where are the Audigy 2 ZS Linux Drivers?????????????????????????????????????????

I Just recently installed Fedora core 4 on a partition on one of the Raids and discovered I cannot find a creative Audigy2 zs linux driver anywhere? I have found a all in one alsa driver set but so far no success, and i'd prefer not to use non certified drivers on the audigy2 due to hardware failing on me in the past because of bad drivers. Why is there a Linux section in the drivers area and no linux drivers? eh common if you haven't coded linux drivers after the ammount of time the audigy2 zs has been released for ... then why you guys are going to have to have the proverbial finger removed from the preverbial arse and support your customers ... I've seen 00's of questions in forums about creative drivers for linux ... if you guys are going to be racists and only code microsloth / bloatware then I think i'll be more than happy to chuck the audigy2 on the junk pile and use the evil on board ac '97 which HAS Linux drivers....

Well ... i tried to download Forms Developer 6i. Here is what happens:
After u agree to the license agreement, u are taken to a download page that contains the urls that initiate ur download. I tried to download the splitted version for NT. I dragged all the URLs to GoZilla. It worked fine at the begining: everytime I connect to the net, GoZilla connects to oracle's download site and resumes the files. Then suddenly, gozilla couldn't connect to the URLs, and after hours and hours, i ended with some partial downloads that can't be resumed!! I donno what happened! maybe, Oracle has suddenly changed the files location?? I'm restarting it now again. Wish me good luck!

  • (UPDATE) Where is the free demo/trial version for Tearaway Unfolded?

UPDATE: furryhawk has said we'll get the demo version of Tearaway Unfolded available on the PS Store a few days before launch. Thank you to furryhawk for pointing it out.  When I saw the Tearaway Unfolded trailers and gameplay videos, I was overjoyed and couldn't wait for the game to come out, even the pre-order for the game is available on the PS Store, every Tearaway fan pre-ordered it because they can't wait for the game and that's great! But my question is... when are we gonna get a free demo/trial version on the PS Store before the full game itself comes out? Can you please answer this question? Because I don't know when it'll come out.

Okay, thanks. I'll put an update about it on the thread. Again, thanks for saying that we'll get the demo a few days before launch. I appreciate it!

  • Where is the Lockin Demo user manual?

    Dear all;
I have downloaded the three VIs of Lock-in start-up kit
    http://http://www.ni.com/white-paper/5613/en/
But I have problem of the input cluster of Reference Input of LockinDemodulatorSettings.vi
I don't know the data type of rolloff and type of these inputs.

The Reference Info according to the description is this:
A cluster populated by the LockInPLL.vi.  The cluster contains information necessary to generate mixer and low-pass filter parameters.
What it actually is, is a cluster needing a frequency, phase, order, Updated (whatever that means) a block size, and a "FS" which I'm guessing is the sampling frequency.
Attached is a version that allows you to see the front panel controls so you can see what the controls and type are.  All I did was delete the decoration, saved in 2011.
