Where is the discussion group for iPhone developers?

I have tried, but faild, to find any Apple hosted group for us new iPhone developers. Are we suppose to post our questions here?

There are number of web sites dedicated to development on Apple platforms, many of which have forums. I haven't seen any sites or forums specifically dedicated to iPhone development, but I have little doubt that one or more will appear. None will be able to discuss any item that's covered under Apple's nondisclosure agreement, which will undoubtedly included the iPhone 2.0 beta, but there should be useful discussions nonetheless. You can start with CocoaDev's forum:
http://cocoadev.com/forums/
and keep doing a web search for something like "iphone development" over the coming weeks for sites specifically dedicated to the subject.

For Info.
iChat went A/V at the Jaguar (10.2)/Panther(10.3) Upgrade time.
This was effectively the release of iChat 2 and was branded as iChat AV
In fact Jaguar users could use a free beta for a while May to Oct 2004 which was replaced by a Paid for version but came free with the Panther Upgrade. (it was somewhat confusing as the Jaguar version would not run in Panther despite having the same name of of iChatAV)
At Tiger (10.4) iChat became iChat 3 and on your Mac would have lost the A/V part of the name. This gave us multi-video or Audio chatting
Leopard has brought us iChat 4

Where does the discussion group go to

Has anybody ever figured out where the discussion group messages disappear to from time to time?
It's been nearly a week since the list of topics has come up.
Is there some evil force at work here, or just the usual?

It usually takes a while to get the email. But it could go to your spam folder, so check there as well........

You don't download iCloud for iPhone. It is built-in.
You'll find it in Settings.

Where are the backup files for iPhone stored on windows 7?

Can't find backup files for iPhone on pc using windows 7. Other posts list a path but the folders listed do not show up on my pc. Lost several file entries when updating to ios5. Files that were shown dated from an older backup.

As an addendum, if I need to, and hopefully won't, unless I switch computers, how can I revert from a copy of a different backup? Thanks. :-)

Where is the restore button for iPhones on the new version of itunes

I have bought an iPhone 4 which was on orange ee.
The friend has paid them to unlock it and they confirmed it has been done but my voda sim shows no service.
The instructions from ee mention restore from iTunes but the new version doesn't appear to have to have this button.
Can someone let me have the process for resetting a network unlocked phone through iTunes.

I need to add to this that when I connect to iTunes the screen just brings up a message sim needs activating but I tried the sim in a voda iPhone and it works so the sim is good

Currently I cannot find anything official on enterprise app distribution - only third party information. Has something changed, or is this a documentation glitch? Surely wireless OTA enterprise app distribution is still available via the enterprise developer program?
Note: We currently use this for one of our enterprise clients. But before recommending other clients to join the enterprise developer program, we would like an official citation on whether this mechanism still exists.

Where's the FREAKING manual for the DigitalLife Security System?

Where is the printed documentation for the AT&T DigitalLife Security System? The so-called on-line system is PATHETIC and UNUSABLE, as it is impossible to(a) get it to run at all and (b) has light gray TINY printing on a white screen, making it UTTERLY impossible for senior citizens like myself to read (when we can get it to appear at all). After all the time and money I've spent on this system, I WANT SOME DOCUMENTATION!

Depends on what variant of the product you are using.
In an Oracle Applicaiton Server environment (ie the one you install versus unzip) the stdout/stderr streams from OC4J are captured in the $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/<group-instance> directory.
If you are using standalone then stdout goes to the console where you started the process.
The logs for the OC4J instance itself are located in $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/log/<instance_group> directory. In this directory you'll see different logs for differet areas of the server. Most of the logs however are captured in the oc4j sub-directory in the log.xml file. Whenever you enable an OC4J component logger in the j2ee-logging.xml file or via ASControl, this is where the logs will end up.
Take a look at the $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/config/j2ee-logging.xml file -- the log handlers will give you some idea on the different log files that are in use.
You can configure your application loggers to also direct their log into this file if you wish. See http://buttso.blogspot.com/2007/09/directing-log-messages-into-oc4j.html for an example.

I cannot find this App icon. Where is it located? It was supposed to be preinstalled.
