I am developing a Windows Universal app in which I need to upload a FileItemThumbnail to Azure blob storage. One thing that is making this tricky is that I cannot find the correct documentation for CloudBlockBlob. For example in the documentation I can find
(https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/microsoft.windowsazure.storage.blob.cloudblockblob.aspx) the method
UploadFromFileAsync has a number of overloads each including a System.IO.FileMode parameter. But System.IO.FileMode is not available under Windows Universal. Using the metadata in Visual Studio I see that the two overloads of UploadFromFileAsync available
to me are:
public IAsyncAction UploadFromFileAsync(StorageFile source);
public IAsyncAction UploadFromFileAsync(StorageFile source, AccessCondition accessCondition, BlobRequestOptions options, OperationContext operationContext);
Where do I find the documentation for the WinRT / Windows Universal version of CloudBlockBlob?Hi,
You could refer the following links for documentation on uploading and downloading files from Azure Storage with Windows Universal App.
https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/Universal-Windows-Apps-1ea96689
https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/How-to-operate-Azure-blob-f0210e2e
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/webapps/archive/2014/09/24/upload-and-download-files-from-azure-storage.aspx
Hope this helps.

Documentation for the convert servlet
Does anyone know where to find the documentation for the /xmlpserver/convert servlet?
Dear Prasad,
Please change the User profile name as per your requirement.- meaningful name.
You have to create two statuses.
The first status is RRCL.
The Second status Is QFIN.
RRCL and QFIN - u can name them as u like.
There are two statuses.
is it clear?
First you have to create two statuses in the user profile.
You can name them as you like.
For example RRND --> Result recording not done (You can name the first status as RRND)
Second status UDCD --> Usage Decision Can be Done ( You can name the second status as UDCD.
It is your wish.
For each status you have to assign the business transactions .
Hope this is clear.
Best of luck.

Documentation for the Acrobat Document Object Model
Hello
I'm trying to move my first steps in this field, I hope you can bear with my naive questions.
I'm trying to find the documentation for the Acrobat Document Object Model. To my surprise a search in the forum's archives was unsuccessful.
I remember downloading out of curiosity a few PDFs from Adobe about their implementation of JavaScript in Acrobat, one precisely concerning ADOM (but I could be wrong as it was a few years ago and I'm getting old): are those documents a thing of the past?
Thank you very much.
GiordanoHave a look here:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/javascript.html
The link there is for the version 9 reference, which is usually good enough,
but if you want the latest one (in PDF form), you can find it inside the
Acrobat X SDK package, here:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/sdk/eula.html -

PA-US Where to find the documentation for renumeration type?
Gurus,
Where to find the documentation for renumeration type details for IT0008 in SAP Library?
I tried in HR sections under ERP of SAP Library, but could not find the place.
Thanks,Revathi,
I see an option to change the enum type in IT0008 maintenance screen.
Which simply changes section of the screen as "salary" to "pay scale" and vice versa.
I want to understand the difference between those in terms of payroll process (calculations).
Hence, I was trying to find documentation in this regard in SAP Library.

Where can I find documentation for the HSP* Custom Functions
I can see a number of HSP functions are registered in Essbase but cannot find any documentation for them. I am reluctant to use them for client development without some proper documentation. Does anyone know where it can be found?
The functions are :
@HspNthMbr
@HspNumToString
@HspDateToString
@HspConcat
@HspMbrIndex
@HspMessage
@HspGetMbrCount
@HspCreateCDFSession
@HspRemoveCDFSession
@HspAddPageCombination
@HspCreateEssbaseServerFile
@HspWritePageCombinations
@HspGetFileName
Many of these look interesting. Some of them seem obvious, others might have a number of paramenters and options.
Any help appreciated.
RichardHere is the contents of essfunc.xml. A little bit more information than what is available than in EAS; for example regarding function @HspGetMbrCount, it has a limited function prototype "@HspGetMbrCount(StringArray)" and purpose "Returns the member count of the range provided". I got this from Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/essbase1/EssbaseServer/essbaseserver1/java. You can view it more easily in Internet Explorer or vim.

Overhauling the Documentation for Director
Hi Everyone,
Please excuse this cross-post. You can also find it on the Direct-L mailing list and on the Director Online Forum. I will post a summary of answers to each of these places.
Rajnish Bharti, Product Manager for Director and Shockwave, asked me last week for my input on how best to overhaul the documentation for Director. In particular, he asked me to give him an idea of what the Table of Contents should look like.
You can find my first draft of the Table of Contents here:
http://www.openspark.com/adobe/Director_Documentation_01.zip
While preparing this, I contacted a number of Director teachers and trainers, talked to some newcomers to Director, consulted dozens of Director books (mostly from the Macromedia days) and pored over the various reincarnations of Director's own help.
Examples
Lots of real-life examples that you can copy and paste and
know that they will work
Images
Clear and concise screen shots that capture the essence of
a concept at a glance
Fast and Powerful Searching
Beginners don't know which menu item or scripting term they
are looking for. The search engine should help users to home
in from a layman's expression to the appropriate documentation
article. Articles should be intelligently cross-referenced.
I have suggested dividing the documentation into three sections:
1. Director Step by Step
A series of short hands-on tutorials which introduce all the
commonly-used features of Director in the context of simple
movies. Beginners can start here.
This section imagines that you have never used Director or
studied its documentation before. You select a project that
is similar to the one you are planning, and the documentation
shows you how to achieve your goal using Director.
Hyperlinks lead you to more in-depth entries in the Feature
Guide on how a feature works, or to the appropriate entry in
the Scripting Dictionary.
2. Feature Guide
This section will give detailed explanations of each feature,
category by category. It will be divided into three main
chapters:
The Workspace
Working with the various windows and menus
The Raw Materials
Understanding sprites, members, the various media types
and data types
The Process
Designing your project, animating sprites, using scripts
and publishing your work.
This section will give you a categorized view of what Director
does. It imagines that you start with a "How do I..." type of
question, and guides you to the appropriate part of the
User Interface or the correct scripting terms to use.
It will contain links both to the Step by Step tutorials and
to the entries in the Lingo Dictionary.
3. Alphabetical Scripting Dictionary
I have abandoned the idea of having the Dictionary divided
into categories. I believe it is much easier to find an
entry without having to wonder whether it is a keyword, a
method or an operator. If you don't know what entry you
should be looking for, the Feature Guide will help you. If
you do know the word you are looking for, then you only
need to know the alphabet.
Each entry in the Scripting Dictionary should link back to
the articles in the Feature Guide which refer to it, and to
each of the tutorials in the Step by Step section which use
the term.
I also suggest (Section 4) implementing a much more powerful Search engine than the D11.5 browser-based help currently features, but that is not really a part of the Table of Contents.
The document that I have posted at...
http://www.openspark.com/adobe/Director_Documentation_01.zip
... is by no means definitive, but it is at a point where I am ready to share it, to check if my general approach is acceptable.
I have not gone into much greater detail in some areas than in others, so past the 4th level, you may find certain areas are still vague. You may have better ideas for the Step by Step tutorial movies than the ones I have included.
Red text indicates new content.
I welcome feedback from all members on the community, both in terms of the content and the structure.
Once we have a comprehensive list of all the topics to cover and a consensus on the structure, then we will have to work out the most cost-effective way of generating the actual content.
Let me know what you think,
JamesJames, this looks outstanding!
I'm too far behind in versions to offer much here, but one thing I noticed that, I think is an oops:
3.4. Java Dictionary
should be:
3.4. JavaScript Dictionary
Unless they brought back the Java beast, that is.

The link to system requirements for Firefox 4 beta takes you to a page that gives you the requirements for Firefox 3.6 instead. I assume that the requirements for the beta are different as I can't seem to install the beta on my Macs. Where can I find the beta system requirements?
I never expected Mozilla to neglect the users of Apple's PowerPC (PPC) computers, while still supporting much older operating environments such as Windows XP. So, I should just throw away a $6,000 system, which is still fast and functional, and contribute masses of heavy metals to land-fills because…?
I'm hurt and confused after supporting Firefox for many years — installing and using it not only on my own computers but on most of my customers' computers. Now I have to tell my customers with PPC Macs they can't have a secure cross-platform browsing experience from Mozilla. They'll have to learn to use some other browser, or buy a new computer.
If one doesn't buy a new computer every year, one doesn't deserve Firefox 4. This is sort of sounding more like a Microsoft™© doctrine. (But wait, I can still have Firefox 4 on a ''SERIOUSLY CRAPPY WINDBLOWS XP pile of rubbish?!'') Please open your eyes Mozilla. This just doesn't make sense. -
Where is the hyphen on the apple TV? I am trying to set up my network and there is a hyphen in the password for the network
A few options to try:
They hyphen should be next to the + on the character map.
If you are still having issues, provided your ATV software is up to date, you can now connect an Apple Wireless Keyboard through bluetooth connections.
Change your network password so it does not use a hyphen
Good luck!
