Where is the drop down list with "edit web part" for a list??

In Sharepoint 2010, there was a drop down list to the far right of a list. One of the options was to Edit Web Part. In Sharepoint 2013, I can't find the drop down list. Nothing is to the right of my list and mouse overs down't reveal
anything. I am trying to get to that area to change my toolbar type. Any clues as to where the "edit web part" has gone to?

I've been able to edit Web Part properties for weeks, but a few days ago, I could no longer do it, either by using the checkbox in the upper right corner of the web part or by using Web Part Properties in the Web Part tab. It's greyed out.
Then yesterday I could do it again and today I can't. An intermittent problem!
No one has changed any Sharepoint Admin settings.
Anyone have any ideas? They would be greatly appreciated.

Where's the drop-down with "Recent places" in "Open File" dialogue?

Hi,
Until Mountain Lion, all "Open file" dialogue boxes included at the top a drop-down list with higher-level locations as welll as "recent places" - folders that were recently used to open files.
In apps such as Smultron, this is hugely efficient and I would say the vast majority of the file I open, I access via that drop-down.
Now, in apps that support iCloud, the UI of the "Open file" dialogue has changed significantly - with that drop-down now completely missing!!!
I am actually really really upset about this feature being removed. Is there ANY way to bring it back? I waste so much time now in opening files, it's ridiculous.

Wierdly the only way I have found to bring this essential piece of the open file dialog box back is to disable icloud "Docuemetns & Data". Then hey presto the view controls are back on the top and the drop-down returns.
...but you don't have icloud documents any more
Sounds like a wierd omission in Mountain Lion if you ask me. I use that drop-down all the time...

before firefox 4.0 i was able to go straight to a page several pages back by clicking the drop down arrow, then clicking the desired site address. now i have to click the back button over and over until i reach the desired site. what a pain! absence of this feature alone makes me want to go back to version 3.6XXX

I was also desperate no to find my arrow after updating Firefox so I did some research --which by the way is quite difficult when you do not know what to call that arrow-- but thankfully I arrived here fairly quickly.
It saves me half an hour of research, so thanks ^^
I never would have guessed that you had to right-click... I tried it a couples of times and have to agree with gk2011, it is not very convenient.

Where has the drop down button for page history gone from next to the Forward/Back page buttons?

in previous versions of Firefox(and most other Browsers) there is a drop down next to the back/forward page buttons, that shows the last 10 of so pages browsed in the current tab......
has this feature been removed from Firefox 4 and why, or is there a way to enable it?
Currently using Firefox 4 on a Macbook running OSX 10.5.8

You can get the drop down list by either control-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

How do I alphabatize all my bookmarks from the drop down menu with the star on the Right side of screen?

I want to alphabatize all my bookmarks that are in the drop down menu, the menu with the star icon, on the right side of the screen. I do not want to put them in folders or view them in the box from the menu bar and all the answers pertain to that box, and not to the one with the star. Thank you

I don't think it's possible from the toolbar button.
However, the action you take in the Bookmarks Sidebar or in the Library dialog will affect the Bookmarks Menu everywhere it is displayed, including the toolbar button, so you only need to use it for the few moments needed to use Sort By Name and then close it.
Bookmarks Sidebar (either):
* View menu > Sidebar > Bookmarks
* Command+b
Library dialog (either):
* Bookmarks menu > Show All Bookmarks
* Command+Shift+b
right-click "Bookmarks Menu" > Sort By Name

Instead of hitting the "back" button on the toolbar, where is the drop down to go back 2-3 pages?

I used to be able to go back a few pages at a time until the latest upgrade. Now, if I click the "back" button on the toolbar I can only go back 1 page at a time. This doesn't always work and I have to go back to my original starting point which could be 10-15 click back ... is there anyway to get the option to go back multiple pages like before or can I just not use certain web pages anymore?

Devices not detected - where is the drop down menu for device?

the latest 11.0.1 update doesn't have the dropdown menu for devices and if i click on FILE > DEVICES, nothing happens plus all the selections are greyed out!

HT1918 I'm from the Philippines and the County field does not accept 3 letters. Not sure why when the drop down options only has 3 letters for the provinces.

The Philippines only has Provinces not Counties and the province initials only have 3 letters. I cannot create my Apple ID because it keeps getting the "enter at least 4 letters or numbers" error. Please help.

On editing clips in iMovie10, the drop down menus fail to appear

After an upload to iMovies V10, I tried to edit a clip by using "Enhance" & "Adjust" buttons on the top right side of the edit screen. But, the drop down menu (item 3 in Help for stailisation, etc) didn't appear. The icon changed colour to blue and the image in the top section (like a post card image) advanced slightly in the same frame. On pressing "Enhance", there was only a little one off bit of sound delivered. I tried the following remedies
1) Opened iMovies10 in Admin profile, but same problem;
2) Moved iMovies10 to trash & emptied Trash;&
3) Re-loaded iMovies10.
It made no difference. I'm also using another iMac loaded with V10 with no problems with the drop down menu not appearing. I have spoken to 4 people in Applecare under a case number. They have been supplied with screen shots from both iMacs for illustration purposes.The problem was to be elevated to Apple's Engineering unit for a possible solution. Meanwhile, if anyone has a solution in the community, I would be most apprecoative of any useful ideas to arrive at a fully functioning IMovie10 app. I have not tried to add transitions yet as I can't even do the stabilsation routine!

Updated iMovie on 21NOV13 with version 10.0.1. It failed to eliminate the bug mentioned above. Basically means that iMovie continues to be inoperable for me.

I cannot find this 300GB "Backup" in the Finder, only in the Storage info when I check "About This Mac".
You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

I have restarted my computer, but the information remains the same. How do I reclaim the use of the 300GB? Why is it showing up as "Backups" when it used to indicate "Photos"? Are my photos safe on the external drive?
You have tested the library on the external drive, and so your photos are save there.
The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots.

Create a fragment with web service to populate the drop down list

Can any one please advise/suggest on how to create a fragment in LiveCycle Designer ES with web service to populate the drop down list so I can re-use it for another form. I already have a drop down list to populate the data from the web serivice but need some advise on how to create a fragment for this drop down list so I can start to embed it in other forms as well.
