Where is the file for startup wallpaper stored?

I have a picture that I took as my start up wallpaper but it's no longer in my photo library on the phone. I don't have another copy of it so I'd like to get it from the iPhone. If the pic file isn't in the photo library where can I find it? Can I recover it? Could someone at the Genius bar recover it if I can't?

Unless they got some new tools I'm unaware of. Wouldn't hurt to ask them.

You don't have to worry about. They are stored in a kind of volume named "MobileBackups", but they appear as stored in your hard drive. To delete them, open System Preferences > Time Machine, and turn off Time Machine. Then, turn it on. However, you don't need to delete them, as they will be deleted when your hard drive gets full

The Mail application's autofill feature pulls from the Address Book and the list of Previous Recipients in Mail. Mail stores all message recipients in a list of Previous Recipients but the data for this list is stored in the primary Address Book data file.
At the Mail.app menu bar, go to Window and select Previous Recipients. A previous recipient already entered in the Address Book will have a vCard icon to the left of the name or email address. You can remove a previous recipient from the list or add a previous recipient to the Address Book but there is not an available function for exporting the list of Previous Recipients.
Using the Address Book Backup feature should also backup the list of Previous Recipients in Mail but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know where the pictures used for contacts in Address Book are stored? Once a picture is added to a contact, is that image added to a file somewhere or is it referenced from another location?
I am trying to find an original that I have misplaced and I was hoping I could nab a copy from the address book filing system.
If not, is there any chance that once found, any part of the original name might be embedded in the file so I could search for that?
Not a serious problem but finding that foolsih picture is driving me crazy.

The images are located in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/Images Folder.
When double clicked, the alphanumeric named files open for me with Quicktime Player.

Where is the password for user SDM stored in sap system?

Hi SAP Gurus,
We recently changed the password of the user j2ee_admin in our dual stack system where our UME is ABAP.
Now, we have made changes in the su01 and configtool but after the system restart, the user id j2ee_admin is getting intermittently locked.
On starting the the JSPM/SDM, we found it still uses the old password so wanted to know that from where does the user SDM picks up the password and starts.
Searched few blogs and found that it reads from secstore of configtool. Could you please help.

Hi Himanshu,
SDM uses encrypted administrator credentials stored which are stored secure store to use deploy service.
If you have changed the password, updated in secure store and is correct, the you should be able to logon to VA.
If not, then
Goto /usr/sap/SID/DVEMBGSXX/SDM/program/config and open sdmrepository.sdc file to see the values of SecStore.properties and SecStore.Key are pointing to correct path. You can verify this from configtool or config.properties in configtool folder.
If you are not able to save this password in configtool, then refer 1228507 - Config Tool does not properly save password in Secure Store

On my macbook pro, where is the file for the original default desktop wallpaper? ...and if i replace this will it change the default wallpaper?

Whenever I lock my screen on my mac (by closing the lid) the login screen I see on reopening my computer is a faded version of my desktop image (which is normal, and fine) however when I close my laptop while it's in fullscreen mode (when I'm using a web browser or other application in full screen) the lock screen displays the default desktop image, which is what i'm trying to change. My macbook has always done this.
My computer is running Mac OS X version 10.7.3
I've been looking for a way to change the default wallpaper on my mac, so that when i lock my screen in full screen mode the lock screen displays my selected wallpaper image (the same one as is on my desktop) instead of the default (andromeda galaxy). Can anyone please provide me with the location of the default image file (if it's even accessible) or maybe even provide me with a way to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

My guess is that once you see an estimate for replacement for hundreds of dollars, those scratches won't look too bad anymore. There are products to cover the outer casing, and some people put stickers on, or even paint (I don't recommend either, but ymmv). Good luck.

How and where this files stored in the server.
Whether they are stored as objects in the database or in any location of the hard disk as a file system.
If in database, please let me know the table name and how to access it.

Where is the code for html template stored on the server

I would like to make changes to the html template source code, mainly to update the hard coded server name in it.
Instead of doing one by one in portal builder, I would like to search for all on the server.
Can someone tell me where are they stored?

well, if you wish to do it programmatically, you will have something generic to search and replace (like the hardcoded servername as you said). that will not be sitting in any variable to go and edit. in other words, you wanna edit an uncategorized content value so it will be a job to search and find it in a general text attribute/field value. it will be a pain.
one method could be to write a script (shell, nt, csh, sh, or simply sed) to make all of those generic changes in any template content. now copy and paste all items out in a temp file, run the script, and paste back the output to the template.
however, if you're determined to modify uncategorized content using APIs, you might wanna try this:
Look into wwsbr_api.set_attribute and look for wwsbr_api.ATTRIBUTE_ITEM_TEMPLATE to focus on the template you have. It might work out. more on it is here.

It does not seem to be possible within iMovie itself either !!!!
the delete tab is greyed out when I select clips or events to be deleted!!
i Nearly deleted the whole of iMovie to start afresh with frustration!!!!
you know what I mean??
why does Apple make it so difficult to see files and to delete them I will never know....!!
never had had this problem with Windows ...sorry ..going off the mark a bit there...
And also in " Theatre" it seems you can't delete the movies there either...

Where are the files stored?

So...does anyone know where the files for iWeb are stored on our iDisk?
I can clearly see all the ones that are still on my Homepage. Movies are stored in the, of course, Movies folder, and photo albums are in the Pictures folder.
But the new ones that I've created with iWeb...and which work just fine...well...I can't seem to locate them.
The reason I'm askiing is that I'm thinking of possibly moving all my homepage stuff over to my new site and then...in theory...deleting the files used by homepage. But if they are still needed by iWeb, then I wouldn't delete them.
However...I can't find the files for my iWeb site on iDisk. Anyone have any ideas?

OK...problem solved. It actually occured to me as I was reading over my last post.
I remembered that previously when I had put something into the public folder of my iDisk so that someone could access it, it only showed up in the iDisk when viewed from the compter from whence it was sent...even after syncing. And then, when it did finally show up on both computers, it was a pain to delete it and have it not show on both computers.
So, remembering that I had first created the site on the iBook, although finishing on the iMac, I went over to the iBook and checked the iDisk that showed up.
Glory be...there was a Web folder.
So that's that. I can now sleep peacefully.
I do find it strange, thought that I can update and publish on the iMac, have it upload to the iDisk, and yet not show files. Curious.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. There is no "procedure." When you sign up for iTunes Match, iTunes does all the work for you. But you must have the external HDD connected for it to work.
Also, keep in mind that iTunes Match is not a streaming service. To play your music on your computer you'll still need to have the external HDD connected, unless you decide to delete all the music from your iTunes library.

Hi Jeff. I did purchase Premiere Elements 8 from Adobe (download version), but couldn't find the files to download again on the adobe.com website. I did, however carry out another search of files from my old PC and eventually found the files to reinstall on my new PC, using my registered product serial no. Installation has worked. It seems that Adobe has stopped supporting version 8 as I could only find version 9 and later for download from the adobe.com website.
