Where is the Flex/AIR SDK?

Adobe used to release a combined SDK for Flex and Air that could be used with Flash Builder. There is still a link with this description on the Air SDK download page.

However, the combined SDK does not appear on the gaming page. There is only something new called the Gaming SDK.

Is the Flex/AIR SDK available somewhere for AIR 3.5? Or do I need to get the Gaming SDK?

There is also an AIR SDK outside the gaming SDK. I am looking for the Flex/AIR combination.

Problems with mobile projects with apache flex 4.8 and an overlay of the latest air sdk

Using flash builder 4.7 beta, apache flex 4.8 and an overlay of the latest air sdk, i got resolution problems while testing the mobile app (windows version on windows 7) with the air (ipad)emulator. That means the emulator is much bigger than my screen (logicaly seen the resolution of my screen and also like this in earlier version), but the app is much smaller than the emulator. As I have no design view with apache flex 4.8, I don't know where to start searching. Can anyone give me some input?

I don't see any error on creating new projects and running the same.
Where did you get the installer from?
What is the framework linkage type? You can check this in project properties -> flex build path. It should be Merged into code for Apache SDK.

Does the new AIR SDK support iOS 64-bit for Flex Developers?

I saw that the new AIR SDK(December 18, 2014) has supported iOS 64-bit, but it was only supported in the new compiler. See this:
Please note that support for creating universal IPA binaries will only be available in the new compiler. The legacy compiler is not (and will not be)
compatible with iOS 64-bit. Because of this, it will be removed with version 16 of the AIR SDK. To ensure that Adobe as well as third party tools
are able to work with this AIR SDK, the -useLegacyAOT option will continue to exist, but will be internally mapped to the new compiler.
AFAIK, the Flex uses the old compiler and AIR SDK for Flex Developers doesn't include ActionScript 2.0 Compiler. As a Flex developer, what shall I do?

I guess, you might be packaging IPA on windows machine. Please try latest beta at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html which has iOS64 support on Windows machine as well.

Where is the Adapter Framework/SDK ?

I have developed a JCA 1.5 resource adapter for integration test purpose.
I thought the "hard" part done...obviously I was wrong.
I know I can integrate it within BPEL PM as "explained" in this link: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/adapters/pdf/Adapter%20Development%20cookbook.pdf
Unfortunately this document doesn't realy help and some related tools or samples seem unobtainable.
1.- Does anybody know where I can get the Adapter Framework/SDK mentioned in this document ?
2.- Where can I find the -also mentioned- sample related to the MyOwnPersonalRecord -> XMLRecord translation ?

Redistributing the Flex 2 SDK?

Hello,
Let say my application uses the Flex 2 SDK to generate a
Flash application. May I freely redistribute the Flex 2 SDK when I
distribute my application to my clients or should I instruct them
to download it from the adobe website instead?
I read the lisense.htm file but it's lawer's language and
cannot be understanded by us human beings. So, any clear answer
would be greatly appreciated :)

The SDK is not redistributable, you will need to have your
clients download the SDK themselves. In section 2.1.1 of the EULA
we discuss what you can redistribute which really can only be
framework code that you've modified (sections c and d). If you make
no modifications you cannot redistribute.

What is the official AIR SDK and FLEX version to release for iOS6 ?

Hi,
Wanted to know which AIR SDK and FLEX version is fully suporting the iOS6 to submit to Apple.
I found that AIR SDK 3.4 is supporting iOS6, though the code created for iOS 6 is not working correctly when build from Flash Builder 4.7 AIR SDK 3.4 FLEX SDK 4.6 .

Where is the Adobe AIR 3.2 SDK hiding?

This is driving me loopy!
I'm trying to locate the download for AIR3.2 SDK but whenever I find a link to it I'm directed to
Adobe AIR 3.1.0.4880 SDK
Am I missing something here?
Could anyone shed some light on this for me please?

I was still unable to download the 3.2 sdk today using Safari on my Mac. Clicking on the download just locks up Safari completely and I have to eventually give up and close the browser window to be able use Safari again.
I eventually had to dust off my PC and use IE to download the file (which worked the first time I tried it without any problems and it appears to be 3.2).
I think the Adobe download site isn't working correctly with Safari (which I suspect a lot of AIR iOS developers are probably using).

AIR SDK 3.4 and 3.5 distributives that include ActionScript Compiler 2.0 also contain command line debugger tool (fdb) that is able to debug ActionScript workers. Corresponding jar files are [AIR SDK]/lib/legacy/fdb.jar and [AIR SDK]/lib/legacy/legacy-common.jar. Fdb has been an open-source tool for years. Where can I find sources of the most recent fdb versions? Old svn repo is not updated for a long time.

Where is the ARH (AIR Runtime Helper) utility?

AIR Runtime redistributable documentation mentions the ARH (AIR Runtime Helper) which is a tool that can detect which version of the AIR runtime and which version of my app is installed on the user's machine. However I cannot find this utility anywhere - it's not avaiable on the Run-time redistribution page or AIR SDK page.
Where this utility is supposed to be?

Where did the iTunes COM SDK go?

I was going to go download the iTunes COM SDK, originally at http://developer.apple.com/sdk/, but it appears that when you click on the link to get it, it redirects you to the ADC site... which doesn't have the iTunes COM SDK anywhere in there. Does anyone know where it went?

You now need to have an ADC membership to download the SDKs. You can sign up for the free Online Developer membership here:

download it from now please?In AM 7 I happen to know there was some repackaging of the amsdk. I believe the best way to obtain the newest AMSDK is through the download of AM7, which is to say you need to download Java Enterprise System. I know it's a big download.... You can likely download just that component installer.
You'll also find the sdk bundled with some of the policy agents. However, if you want complete support, it's probably best that you operate from the package of the AM SDK in Java ES. Sometimes the jar in the policy agent might be older/newer.
Also, is the sdk only for windows and solaris? I
would like a client for Redhat ES 3.Java ES is supported on Windows/Solaris and Redhat ES 3, so there should be no problem. Java ES 2005Q4 hasn't been released on Windows yet, but AMSDK is ultimately just Java code, so it should "work" there. If you can duplicate any issues you encounter on a supported platform, you'd be able to open a service case.

Where are the Flex Motion VIs in LabVIEW 2011

Hi all!
I just installed LabVIEW 2011 and tried to open an old project made with LabVIEW 6.1, but it can't find the Flex Motion VIs like "Load Target Position.flx" and such. How do I get them back? Do they have to be installed separately?

Simply saying 'it did not work' is not very descriptive. Drivers do come with LabVIEW (at least when purchased) but in any case, did you try clicking on the 'Support' link at the top of the page and entering '7354' as a search item. It would have brought you here. Im not sure but I think the old flexmotion is obsolete and you would need to replace with NI-Motion functions.

Where is the CaptivateReviewer.air download

I have subject matter experts who need to use the .crev file
to add comments. I had them download the free adobe AIR app, but I
couldn't find the CaptivateReviewer.air app download anywhere. Do I
have to give them the one I got with Captivate 4?

It isn't clear from your post whether you are still having issues or not.
Basically the process is this. You publish the project for review. This will create a CREV file. The end user will need to install the CREV file to use it, as AIR applications must be installed. But before that will work, the user will also need the basic AIR application installed. I know it seems weird, that you must install an application to install another, but that's how it works.
That's why there is an ability to include two attachments when using the E-Mail option. One is for AIR and the other is for the project to be reviewed.
