Where is the iBookstore Asset Guide?

I have just signed up with iTunes Connect after watching the WWDC2012 video on the iBookstore.
They mention that you will have access to resources like the iBookstore Asset Guide, samples and iBook Proofer. But I don't see any of these in iTunes Connect.

I have just send 'feedback' on the iBookstore and iTunes Connect website. No where does it state that you will not have access to the resources if you are signing up for the free account.
No biggy really, just annoying that there is such a lack of info.
Also annoying that my main AppleID is now forever associated with only being able to create FREE iBooks. I know I may have missed the bit about (....if you think in future you may want to...) but that is an easy error to make and I should be able to change the contract. Ho hum.
But thanks MichiHenning for getting back to me so quickly - at least someone is listening.

  • Where did the AS Language Guide go?

I've always used Apple's Language Guide pages for quick lookups of AppleScript syntax, but they've been 404 since the 13th. I'd download the PDF as directed by the Scripting and Additions List. But that's 404, too!
So, where to go for an online indexed reference guide?

    Hello
    Good news.

  • Where's the real installation guide?

After nearly reaching the limit of my patience with Oracle's documentation and the UCM setup process, I'm putting the call out to anyone who's gone through the installation pain already to throw up a step-by-step installation process that works. So far, documenation that I've found on the Oracle site and various things floating around in the land of Google make small pieces of the whole pie work, but never the whole pie start-to-finish. I and one of my coworkers are very much feeling like anything we get up and running was hacked together just to gain basic functionality.
In terms of basic functionality and architecture, our goals are the following (and I'd love to know if one of these pieces is specifically known to NOT work):
    Server 1:
    Oracle DB 11g
    Server 2:
    JRun4 (in lieu of Tomcat)
    Apache 2.2.9
    Content Server
Content Integration Suite (haven't even gotten to Portlet suites yet - just trying to establish base functionality)
    Site Studio
    Full-text search
    JSP Enabled
For the time being, we've been attempting the setup using Win XP Pro on both boxes.
I'm hoping I'm just missing a setting or referencing a name incorrectly in my configuration, but I've run into nonstop roadblocks, java and SQL errors and all-around pain and misery. Anybody up for a complete step-by-step that I KNOW a lot of frustrated users are dying to see?
    Thanks!

    Installation of the Database:
    Install OracleXE
After installing the software, taking all the defaults, follow these steps to create the schema
    Open the SQL Command window:
On Windows, from the Start menu, select Programs (or All Programs), then Oracle Database 10g Express Edition, and then Run SQL Command Line.
    Connect system/welcome1@XE
    @ <location of installables dir>/Createuser.sql
    @ <location of installables dir>/UCMRole.sql
The result of this action is a user id (db_admin) with the password of db_admin
    Exit the sql command line
    Installation of content server:
Navigate to [Install_Dir]\UCM\ContentServer\win32 directory of the extracted zip location. Run Installer.exe
    Use the following options
    Your Locale = English-US
Installation Type = Install new server
    Installation Directory = c:/oracle/ucm/idc
    Create Directory = Yes
Java Virtual Machine = Sun Java 1.5.0_11 JDK
    Native File Repository = c:/oracle/ucm/idc/vault/
    Create Directory = Yes
Web viewable File Repository = c:/oracle/ucm/idc/weblayout/
    Create Directory = Yes
Master or proxy server = Configure as a Master server
Admin Server Config = Install an admin server to manage this server
Note: For subsequent installations you can select to configure an existing admin server and save disk space
Location of web browser executable path = usually the default
    Content Server Locale = English-US
Timezone = Use timezone of operating system
Content Server Port Number = 4444
Note: Subsequent installation will increment this number. There is no magic to the number other than it is a unique port number on the server
Admin Server Port Number = 4440
    Incoming connection address filter: 127.0.0.1
Web Server relative root = /idc/
Note: Similar to the installation directory above, it helps to name the relative root as to what you are using it for so that you can easily confirm the instance you are working with from the URL in the browser
    Company Mail Server = localhost
    Administrator E-Mail Address = sysadmin@localhost
Web Server HTTP Address = let it default to your host name. If your web server is on a port other than 80 then enter hostname:port
    Server Instance Name = idc
Content Server Instance Label = Content Server Master 1
Content Server Description = Content Server Master 1 for UCM Product Training
    Web Server = Apache
    Database = Oracle
    Manually configure JDBC = No

    Oracle Listener Port = 1521
    Oracle User = db_admin
    Oracle password = db_admin
    Oracle instance name = XE
Find the JDBC driver in a specific jar file = no
Create database tables = no (since we have created them earlier, otherwise) yes
    Components to install =F
Configure Administrative Server service = Install service and start automatically
Configure the admin service to run as a specific user = no
Configure admin service to be dependent on another service = no
Configure Content Server service = Install service and start automatically
Configure the service to run as a specific user = no
Configure service to be dependent on another service = no
    Proceed with install = Proceed
    Disable 8.3 Filename creation=true
    Proceed with intsall : 1
    Verify the installation
    Open Windows Explorer
    Navigate to “c:\oracle\ucm\idc\install”
Open the “log.txt” file in a text editor
NOTE: Content Server writes files in UNIX style, using only a line feed and not the carriage return/line feed combination that Microsoft uses. So using Notepad as your text editor will give you huge run-on sentences. Use WordPad or TextPad or some other “real” text editor
    Review the log for errors.
NOTE: The default English-US locale uses two digits to represent the year (‘yy’), where the year is interpreted to be between 1969 and 2068. In other words, 65 is considered to be 2065, not 1965. If you want years prior to 1969 to be interpreted correctly in the English-US locale, you need to change the default date format for that locale to use four digits to represent years (‘yyyy’).
modify the default English-US date format
From the Windows Start menu, select Programs—Oracle Content Server—[Instance Name]—Utilities—System Properties.
The System Properties applet is started.
    Open the Localization tab.
Select the English-US entry in the list of locales, and click Edit.
The Configure Locale dialog is displayed.
Modify the date format to use four digits for the year (‘yyyy’) rather than two (‘yy’). This is done by changing the Date/Time Format from “M/d/yy {h:mm[:ss] {aa}[zzz]}!mAM,PM” to “M/d/yyyy {h:mm[:ss] {aa}[zzz]}!mAM,PM”
After you are done editing, click OK to close the Configure Locale dialog.
Click OK to apply the change and exit System Properties.
Stop and restart the Content Server (otherwise the change will not take effect).
Note: Open the services applet from the control panel. Locate the “IDC Content Admin Service idc_admin” service and restart it.
    Install Web Server
    Run <InstallablesDir>/*Apache* with defaults
Open httpd.conf file (From the Windows Start menu, select Programs—Apache HTTP Server-Configure Apache Server – Edit the httpd.conf file
Add the following entry at the end of the file and restart the http server :
    LoadModule IdcApacheAuth C:/oracle/ucm/idc/shared/os/win32/lib/IdcApache22Auth.dll
    IdcUserDB idc "C:/oracle/ucm/idc/data/users/userdb.txt"
    Alias /idc C:\oracle\ucm\idc\weblayout
    <Location /idc>
    Allow from all
    DirectoryIndex portal.htm
    IdcSecurity idc
    </Location>
Note : The above entry is located in the Apache.txt file in the installables dir
Results of a Content Server Installation
Verify the browser interface by opening your web browser to http://localhost/idc
The system administrator user id is sysadmin with a default password of idc. These are case sensitive. Select the Login link and log in as sysadmin.

  • Where can I find a guide to all the options and settings available via the "about:" pseudo-URL? (Using FF 3.6.8)

When I last used Firefox support, several years ago, I saw mention of a long list of options and settings available, using a kind of local URL, beginning with "about:". I can't find it now. The text "forums" that I saw then seem to have disappeared and been replaced by support for dummies who might be frightened if they saw a page containing more than just a tiny amount of information.
The question is: where can I find this guide, listing all the available options and settings so that I can make my own decisions?

I must have forgotten; it wasn't exactly FF support, but Mozillazine. '''Thank you for the pointer'''. The "long list" I was thinking of was in fact about:config, which is pointed to by that page.
Given all that, I think it should be easier to find Mozillazine from the FireFox support pages.

  • Where is the setting of 50% cenvat in case of asset in SPRO

    Hi,
In case of asset if we select the Asset in J1ID for the material and if asset code is mention in the PO then system post the 50% of the duty to the on hold account this is OK, but i want to know where is the  setting for this 50% , this is just for information, is it hard coded in the program  or the  50% is mention in customizing can we change this 50% to some other value,
    regards,
    zafar

    M adding up in above.......
in J1id , select Material and Chapter ID Combination , give material type assets. Based on  Material type, system calculates Cenvat and treat like that. U dont need to do much difeerent anyth in the case of assets.
Also cross check that u have ticked Immediate credit on capital goods in Company code settings.
Before posting any excise invoice it is advisable to see the simulation of excise invoice for correct posting of u201CCenvat on holdu201D and u201CCenvat availu201D part.
    thanks

  • Where is the Combined Upgrade and Unicode Conversion Guide

    Hi All
    Embarassing question time.
I am after the Combined Upgrade and Unicode Conversion Guide for 4.7 to ERP 6.0, but can only find the Combined Upgrade and Unicode Conversion Guide for 46C to ERP 6.0.
Can anyone advise where the 4.7 guide is.
    Thanks

Thank God SAP don't include it in the Install guide. The Install Guides are complex already. BTW if you need more info on unicode and its conversion go here

Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.
If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process.

  • Where has the Setup and Load Guide gone?

    Hello experts,
In the past I helped implement our CRM 3.0 and 4.0 systems.  At the time we had some very helpful guides (.pdf) which allowed us to configure the basic exchanges between R/3 and CRM.  They were called:
Implementation and Configuration Step by Step
    Setup and Load Guide
We are now going through a new CRM 7.0 fresh install and I am looking for those very same guides but updated for CRM 7.0.
At first someone pointed us to the building block guides "http://help.sap.com/saap/sap_bp/CRM_701_XX/Html/index.htm" but those do not appear to be the same content from what I recall in the older versions.  They look to help you establish a quick "default" type system even telling you values to plug in.  This was very different from the older versions where it explained step by step how to connect to R/3 and pull in values.
Someone then told us that "those guides are in Solution Manager now" but not being overly knowledgeable in SOLMAN I cannot seem to find a way to locate them.
Even in IMG in CRM 7.0 we see several references specifically saying "CRM Setup and Download Guide".
Can someone please help me locate the latest versions of those guides.
Thank you very much for your help.

    Andrei,
Thank you for your response.  You are the second person to mention "Solution Manager documentation" as a way to obtain such information.  Can you elaborate on how you go about obtaining that type of information through Solution Manager?
We were given guidance to find such documentation through the "accelerator tab" under Project Scope -> Roadmap but we are unable to find that tab.
Please advise if that was what you might be referring to or something else.
Thank you very much for your help.

  • Where do I find the JavaScript Tools Guide

I’m fairly new to Adobe scripting.  I just downloaded the Photoshop 2014 CC JavaScript Reference,
and in describing ExtendScript’s features, it includes the line,
For details of these and additional features, see the JavaScript Tools Guide,
which it says is installed with Adobe CC at
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Utilities\ExtendScript Toolkit CC 2014\SDK.
It wasn’t there — there’s no such folder on my system. The Javascript Reference goes on to say,
The latest versions of this document and of the ExtendScript Tookit,
can also be downloaded from Adobe Developer Center,
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/.
I followed the above link to the Developer Center, and I couldn’t find it there either.
Where can I find a copy of the latest JavaScript Tools Guide?

The built in Mac Help App "Welcome to OSX Lion" has all the Infos you are looking for.

The content is organized into subsections like "using Internet and chat", "customizing your Mac" and so on, on the bottom is a link to "Apps Help" which will launch the contents for your installed programs ( like imovie, iphoto and so forth ).
