it means that your links are wrong or the images were not
updated to the
server or they are in the wrong directory but without a URL

look at the code that has been generated it will really hard

  • Where is the image file size???

Where is the image file size in LR3? I can't see it anywhere neither in the Library module, nor in the Develop module.

As far as I know Lightroom does not display the file size. Keep in mind that LR never makes changes to the Original files that you import.
When you export a file with LR edits the file size generated will depend on the edits applied and the size and quality settings you choose in the export dialog.

  • Where are the Image Properties located?

Where are the Image Properties located? Recently watched a tutorial that suggested right clicking an image to see the Image Properties window. However, I am not seeing it. I am looking to add Image descriptions for better SEO. Thank you

    Hello,
Is that image used as a fill in a rectangle ?
If you right click in a Image frame you will the option for image properties. look at the screnshot.
If you right click on a recangle that has an image used as a fill then you will not the option for image properties. look at the screnshot.
If there is anyother scenario you are talking about please let me know and i will look in to it.

  • Where is the image of the Mac HD?

I have a new MBP with 10.7. When it starts up the image of the Macintosh HD is not on the screen. I have performed a erase of data and a restore(download) of a new MacOs and now the image of the HD is not on the opening screen. Where is it?
This is a refurbished MBP. I intially transfered everything from my PowerBook G4 only to find that I had a lot of garbage and unuseable stuff on my new machine. I erased all the data and did an installation of a new Os from Apple over the net. Several situations resulted the most important is that  the HD is not on the desktop after start-up. Also when identifying myself the data entry refused to take a Canadian province and a code postal. Is the OS a US version? Is there a Canadian version somewhere?

  • Where are the image units in Motion 5.05??

What happened to the image units in Motion 5.05? I used to have it in 5.04 but where is it? I'm using Mountain Lion.
    Please Help,
    ~AJ

    Good question!!!
I have a few Effects that are breaking due to the removal of these filters (both sets are gone, btw: Filters > Image Units and Generators > Image Units). Funny thing is -- they still work just fine in Motion (already being used) but completely ignored in FCPX.
I know that many of the IUs were from Quartz and not compatible with Motion, but many of them were, and worth experimenting with.
I just finished filling out a bug report (AKA providing feedback) about this subject. I hope you will do the same.

  • Where are the image files located?

hey guys, my book is 75 mb and I can only guess that it's because my images are Too big. I don't know how to get the file sizes down because I replaced them but they must still be retained in the image folder because when I look at the size its 75mb. Does anyone know where the images are located?

Finding out where the images are held doesn't really help – here's why:
iBA a files aren't really document files – they're more like zipped folders. iBA does a whole heap of background stuff to make the book work. When you drag an or import an image into iBA, it gets filed into a certain place within that folder structure, and presumably 'logs' that location in some xml-type wizardry somewhere else in that folder structure.
Because of this, it's not a great idea to muck around with any of that stuff - it often makes things worse, not better.
As for image size - as Vinny said - all you can do is make the images 2048 x 1536 if you want view them full screen. That looks best on a Retina display, as almost all iPads being sold now are.
I don't know what your intentions are with the project, but in my experience, 75Mb pretty small. Is 75Mb the iBA file or an exported .ibooks file? Once a book gets exported to .ibooks format, the file size comes down. The iBA files I have worked on are much larger – the smallest being about 975Mb, going up to about 3.25Gb.

Towards the top right under Tutorial files you should see a Download button. The files will download and be in a Zip file. Double-click the zip file to access the tutorial files.

  • IPhoto 11 and PSE 11: where is the image data stored?

I have been using iPhoto on my new macbook for the last 3 mos. It has some useful features such as quick editing,  easy sharing and making neat collages etc. However its editing capability is limited and so i just bought PSE 11 for mac.
    My questions:
    1. I am trying to figure out as I import new pictures, where do I keep them, iPhoto or PSE? The pictures I take from iPhone , iPad obviously go into iPhoto first. However it is the photos I take with my other digital cameras that I am not sure where to bring them in.
    2. If I import first into iPhoto and then into PSE, does the image data get duplicated?
    3. If I bring a photo from iPhoto into PSe and edit it, the picture remains in PSE. How do I take it back into iPhoto? Should I delete the edited photo from PSE after exporting it to iPhoto to avoid duplicate images?
    Your recommendations appreciated.

In general it’s best not to use Organizer and iPhoto together. It’s one or the other to avoid duplicating your images.
If you already have lots of photos in iPhoto, you could set up the iPhoto prefs, to enable the PSE11 Editor application for external editing. You can then use Edit In or Cmd+E directly from you iPhoto thumbnails.

  • Where are the Image Settings?

In Adobe's Bridge Reference, it says, "Here are some tips for automating the processing of camera raw image files:
When you record an action, first select Image Settings from the Camera Raw Settings menu [icon appears here] in the Camera Raw dialog box. In this way, the settings particular to each image (from the Camera Raw database or sidecar XMP files) are used to play back the action."
Problem is, I cannot find the Camera Raw Settings menu anywhere in the Camera Raw dialog box, and I cannot find anywhere in the documentation where it tells you how to do what they're recommending here. I'm confused as to whether the action recording takes place in Photoshop (most likely), Bridge, Camera Raw, or the Image Processor. I was under the impression that, of these four, actions can only be created in Photoshop, but now I'm not so sure, since this paragraph says that while the action is being recorded it has to be selected from the Camera Raw dialog box. WHERE DOES ONE FIND "Image Settings" IN THE CAMERA RAW DIALOG BOX?
Edit: Actually, I found the Image Settings selection, but it is still unclear how I can incorporate it into an action. Can I invoke the Camera Raw dialog box while recording an action? if so, how?

Record an Action after opening a file into Photoshop, so the Action contains no Open command but it does contain Save and Close.
Run the Action in a Batch with disabled 'Override Action "Open" Commands' and enabled 'Override Action "Save As" Commands'.

  • Where is the Image when I click to open a psd file?

When I click on File>Open and get the list of files, in previous versions an image of the file I clicked on would open under the Image Sequence Box, whether it was checked or not, and give the file size. Where is that in CS6? I can't find it nor could I see anything in preferences I needed to check. I know it has nothing to do with Image Sequence it is just that it appears under it. Thanks

It's been removed from the Photoshop CS6 File Open dialog, because the thumbnail functionality and ability to preview the size are available through the dialog itself (if you install the proper codecs).  Unfortunately, Adobe doesn't provide codecs for its formats and getting manufacturer-supplied codecs for raw files is a bit iffy as well.
Some time ago I found a decent solution, though it costs about $20 as I recall...  FastPictureViewer Codec Pack will provide thumbnails and previews for virtually any image file type.
In this example I'm hovering the cursor over a .psd file and it's showing me the size info.

  • Url idle with ccm 5.1: where upload the image file?

    Hi,
I'm trying to work the url idle feature in ccm 5.1.
The phone gets the message error http (404).
I have the default configuration on the enterprise parameters of the callmanager and I have upload the xml image file in the tftp directory and in a ccmcip directory, but it doesn't work.
Where must I upload the image file or why it dosn't work?

  • HT1171 When you do a 'print screen', where does the image go?

    Using Windows 7 in Bootcamp.
When i use the shortcut to do a print screen, i cannot find the image nor does it seem to be stored in the clipboard.
    Any ideas where this goes?

My Mac Pro has a Mac aluminum keyboard. I found the F14 key to be equivalet to PrtScn key on PC.
Your Windows BootCamp control panel interface has keyboard help.
In PC jargon, pressing PrtScn copies what is displayed on Monitor to clip-board. Unlike Lion/Leopard's
user friendly equivalent, it does not create an incremental .png to desktop for you. If you open Paint
accessory there is a Paste function that will show clip board and you then can save it as zzz.jpg to
    desktop etc.
Because this is a tedious process, I have code to do what Lion/Leopard does, so that after pressing
PtrScn; when (PasteScr.Vbs) executed, will place Picture(NN).Jpg on desktop, incrementing NN thus
saving need to go through Paint. The code is Vbs script and you can use it by copying text between,
== lines then pasting the copy to a new text document somewhere on your C:\ drive. Then, after saving,
rename it to, for example, PasteScr.Vbs
You can make a shortcut to this on Desktop to use whenever you have pressed PrtScn.
This works in Vista & Windows 7 and should work in XP.
I have found that in Windows 7 64 Bit, on occasion PrtScn does not go to clipboard and results in a white
Picture(NN).Jpg. If this happens, repeat the Prt & Paste process.
This could be improved if pressing PrtScn could be invoked in the VBS but I don not know how to do that.

  • Where are the images stored after migration

I'm totally lost after migrating my pictures from iPhotos.app to Photos.app...
From an article from Apple, (see below) there is no duplication of the library even if it looks like (when you look at the GB). So i understand that there is a kind of link or alias for each picture. But i would like to know where the original ones are (imposible to know looking at the finder because both libraries show strangely a lot of GB.
So I tried different options to understand. If I delete an event in the iPhoto library and definitely trash it, these pictures are still in Photos. And if I delete some pictures in Photos.app definitely (deleting definitely from File Menu > Show Recently Deleted) these pictures are still in iPhoto !!! So where are the real pictures ??? In which library? Somewhere else? Why the two libraries are showing all these Gb and it does'n't correspond to the capacity storage of my hard disk...
I really don't understand how it works... Any help would be very appreciated.
    Article from Apple :
Photos saves disk space by sharing images with your iPhoto or Aperture libraries
Learn how Photos stores images when you migrate your iPhoto or Aperture library and saves disk space by sharing images.
When you migrate a photo library from iPhoto or Aperture, the Photos app creates a new library structure but doesn't duplicate your images. Instead, Photos saves disk space by creating links to the original and preview versions of your images. When Finder reports the file size of your Photos library, it includes all your originals and previews. It may look like your remaining iPhoto or Aperture library is taking up twice the space on your hard drive, but it isn't—your images exist only in one location, even though you may have more than one photo library. After you migrate your iPhoto or Aperture library to Photos, you might feel tempted to delete your original iPhoto or Aperture library. Because the migrated library takes little additional space, you don't need to delete the original library.

They're in both libraries; a hard link to a file is indistinguishable from the original file, and either one can be deleted without affecting the other.
