Where is the info tab on iTunes 11.0?  I need to update my contacts to my iPhone 5.

I cannot update my contacts from Entourage to my iPhone using iTunes 11.0.  The online instructions refer to an "info tab" which does not appear on the new iTunes.  Help!

this is hardly resolved. I do not see any info tab in itunes on the computer, on the iphone or on the site. I see no info tab at all anywhere. The so called settings is in the iphone and its not there. the gear that is normally settings (not labelled of course) has no item in the drop down as info. There is no devices next to the itunes store. There is a devices 2 items down under the itunes store, you open that drop down arrow and there is no info button.
So where is this mysterious itunes button? It is getting very frustrating to come across solved help tickets that are not solved and short on info. Stating to look in itunes when there are several different itunes that are involved here does not help.

  • Where is the info tab in itunes

First Itunes gets corrupted and won't delete and re import then the info tab is missing.
Then on my ipad which has 5000 e-mails and no group delete - unbelieveable!

To put the album into one group, in the Albums view, select the album and right-click.
and on the pop-up menu, choose Get Info...
    ..."Yes"
You should also check on the Info tab and make sure that the Album Artist has "Various Artrists" in it.

where is the photo tab in itunes? it doesn't appear in the itunes sidebar, I am trying to remove photos from my ipad by restricting them from appearing after synch.

I was struggling with this too - but seem to have found the issue.  It appears the photo synch option in iTunes isn't available unless the photos are out of synch.
    This is incorrect.
The Photos tab is always available when you have your iDevice connected.
First open iPhoto, move the photos you want to get rid of to the trash, then close iPhoto.
No one seems to want to delete the photos from iPhoto/computer.
They just don’t want them to sync to the iPad.

Since the release of Mavericks (OS X 10.9) syncing contacts and calendars with a Mac via iTunes is no longer supported. The currently supported method is via iCloud. Setup instructions: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

  • How to show the photos tab in iTunes? Problem since ios 7 update.

Where is the photo tab on iTunes? My iPad is listed on the left side in iTunes, but there is no photos tab.
The left hand pane window in iTunes is maximized, but I do not see any tab for photos. Seems related to a recent update (IOS7?) as this was there - at least before the very big change to the interface.

Note the same thing happens when I connect an iPod.

Don't worry, there is no duplication.  Photo Library is just a summary all the photos from different folders that you have synced over.  Right now you have synced only one folder to the library and therefore your Synced folder (14photos) is equal to Photos Library(14).
Say you have synced 3 folders, A(15), B(8), C(12), on you iPod you will have Albums 'photo Library (35), A(15), B(8), C(12).  So you have an option to display slideshow of all photos by using Photo Library or just photos within particular folder by going into A or B or C.  Hope above explains.

  • What happen to the "info tab" in iTunes V11.1.3?

The "info tab" in the latest version of iTunes is no where to be found. Unable to sync Mail, Contact and Calender!

  • Where is the info tab?

just updated to Maverick and the info-tab seems to be gone in iTunes 11.1.2 to sync to my iPhone and iPad!!?!?!
I guess we in europe think a bit different in using cloud systems and are not that easy willing to share our personal informations with the government.
so I am used to sync my Apple devices wired via iTunes and the info-tab gave me the possibility to check what I needed .... but now the info-tab is gone??!?!
is it just on my machine or is this a move to force people to share personal data to the NSA-Cloud?

why should I use or need software (and may be APPLE hardware), when APPLE just cripple software, remove a safe sync option, reign over my devices and my way of working. Have you ever asked me, if I want to use iCloud services - especially regarding the different laws and practice to data privacy in USA vs Germany???
Have you never heard, that you should inform people, your customers, before you reduce capabilities???
I don't want any gift like that!
I'll stay at mountain lion, itunes 11.1, iwork 09, ... until you show me, that now  and in future 1984 will never come true inside your services, iOS or OS X.
many little customers are watching you APPLE. best regards, yancy

  • Where is the info button in iTunes

Using the itunes 11, I'm stuck with the sync of the contacts from itunes to my iphone. Don't know why but the "info button" of iTunes disappear. Hence I can't sync back whatever the contacts or the notes to my iphone. Pretty bad. Also, when looking, I can't find back my last bakcups. I should the 2 or 3 last but only 1 from yesterday and miss the other ones from a month ago

    Hello raphaelfromfarmington
In previous versions of OS X, SyncServices was used to sync Contacts, Calendars, Notes, and Mail account settings. OS X Mavericks v10.9 and later do not use SyncServices. Instead, Mavericks supports sharing your information using several network-based and cloud-based solutions. If you want to sync your information across multiple devices and computers, you should use one or more of these methods. These include iCloud, CardDAV servers, CalDAV servers, and servers that utilize the Exchange ActiveSync protocol. For more information about SyncServices, take a look at the article below.
    About SyncServices

The website below has information on how to set up and use iCould to sync your contacts and calendars.

  • I can't find the Info tab on iTunes on a newly purchased MacMini.  Any suggestions?

I am a new convert to Apple..... got tired of PC and having used iPhone and iPad a couple of years decided to go the whole way.
I'm having some difficulty synching my contacts however.  I remember in the PC version of iTunes that there was an info tab where you could select the Outlook and Contact synch preferences.  But I cant find it in iTunes on my new MacMini.  Any suggestions on the best way to do this.  Basically I want to have a single address book and dont want to lose all my existing addresses in the process.
    Thanks

With Mavericks (Mac OS 10.9) you need to sync Contacts, Calendars and Bookmarks via iCoud.
System prefs > iCloud. Turn on everything.
    On the iPhone & iPad...
Settings > iCloud and turn everything on.

  • Where is the photo tab in Itunes 12.0.1.26 ? (Windows 7, iphone 5s)

Hello. I'm searching for a way to get my photos _from_ my iphone 5s in iTunes. I don't see the photo tab on my iphone. Where can I find it ?
Here is what I see in my itunes:

Your screenshot shows the option for iTunes to use a folder to put photos from the computer to your iPhone.
With the phone connected to your computer, you should see an external drive listed in Windows Explorer. Look in there for photos taken on the phone that you wish to transfer to the computer.

  • Where is the photo tab on itunes? My device is not listed on the left side of my screen and there is no photos tab on the right of my screen. I want to delete photo albums that were synced through itunes to my ipad 3.

I synced several photo albums to my iPad 3  from my computer through iTunes. Now, I would like to remove them and have discovered that they cannot be removed except through using iTunes. Instructions that I've read say that once the device is connected to and selected from the list in iTunes, select the Photo Tab and then the folder that contains the photos etc.  I never get that far because I do not have a Photo Tab to select in iTunes. How do I find this illusive tab so that I can delete these albums that are merely duplications of other pictures and are just occupying space. I need to get rid of them. Can anyone help me find the photo tab. I cannot move past that step until I do. Also, my device is not listed on the left side as stated in the instructions. It's in the bar on the upper right area of my screen and is automatically selected when connected. I am using the current version 11.1 for iTunes and IOS 7 on my iPad 3, if that helps.

I have the same problem on the latest iTunes software and Windows 7. My window is maximzed and I do not see any tab for photos. Seems related to a recent update (IOS7?) as this was there - at least before the very big change to the interface.
