Where is the iOS6 developer console in Xcode?

Hi!
I've signed up for the developer program and downloaded Xcode Version 4.5 (4G108j) so I have iOS6 running in the simulator but I can't see how to get the new console so I can dubug an Xcode app in a similar fashion to the Safari Developer console.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

Pls. use the confidential iOS 6 beta forums, thanks.

  • In Firefox 30, how can I disable the Web Developer console?

I use a keyboard macro program. Its settings, however, are preempted by the Web Developer tools' shortcuts. Therefore, I either want to (a) totally disable the Web Developer console or (b) remove/reset the shortcuts used by it.

The prefs for disabling some DevTools (devtools.*.enabled) are there on the <b>about:config</b> page, but I'm not seeing anything in the code that they are supported and tests only include a few prefs.
Disabling the developer toolbar works, but not disabling any of the tools in the web console AFAICT.
I'm not sure if there is a bug about this or needs to be filed?
Why have prefs if they aren't working (I tried it with lockPref as well)?

  • Where is the SQL Developer download for Linux

Can some one help provide a URL link to download the SQL Developer for Linux? The official link on the Oracle Website is pointing the Windows zip instead.
    Many thanks!

The link is correct. The files are the same for linux and windows when the jre is not bundled.

  • Where is the iOS6 version of the iPad User Guide and /or guide for the new version of Maps?

Yesterday I installed iOS6 along with 4 updates one of which was the User Guide, as I recall.   But my user guide till has iOS5  Maps guidance so must be the old guide.  How do I download the iOS6 UserGuide and new Maps guidance? Thanks

There doesn't seem to be one for iPad yet. There is an iOS 6 guide for iPhone. They are virtually the same.

  • Where is the 11g Management Console?

Ok, I downloaded the Oracle 11g client and selected "Administrator" during installation.
How do I launch the management console? (is it a script in <ORACLE_CLIENT_HOME>/bin ?)

Yes, the 11g Database Control supposedly now has all of the java applet Oracle Enterprise Management Console Functions and Features but that is just not the case. Major missing feature is Navigation Tree to any Oracle Database that you needed to manage. Very easy to open up branches in tree and see database configuration settings, user info, schema, etc very quickly. Web Database Control is slow, clunky, hard-to-navigate and simply missing the very important and useful function mentioned above. Oracle needs to bring back the Enterprise Management Console java app.. I have discussed this at OracleWorld in SF today with several OEM Oracle reps and unfortunately they showed zero interest is such a request.. Apparently it is not in the interest of the large Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control product..

  • Where is the Java Web Console

    Hi,
Please could someone help me out, I'm new to Solaris, I have a requirement to remotely access our development server, I understand there is a Java Web Console, however browsing to https://localhost:6789 locally doesn't work.
    I've tried running the following:
    smcwebserver -V
    It results in:
    Could not find command smcwebserver
Any assistence would be greatly appreciated.

"search" without "-r" will look on your local system for the keyword. Use "-r" to search the repository.
pkg search -r console gives some output.
    For example:
pkg:/system/[email protected] pkg.summary set The Console Manager
Not sure if that is what you are looking for, or another package that is output from "search -r".

  • Where is the blue switcher console in the titanium drivers

: I have been using the extreme gamer sound card for over a year and just upgraded to the titanium champion edition. I LOVED the blue console switcher which I got from double clicking the creative volume system tray icon.
Does anyone know where it is anymore? I installed the X-FI Titanium Pack 2.7.0004 and then the 2.7.0006 win7 beta driver over that.
    Help is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

What you have installed is only the driverpack (the driver and creative audio control panel). The console launcher is a separate app that can be downloaded from creative's support/download page. Or it can also be installed from the CD included with the X-Fi. The former is a better choice because you'll get the latest version of the console launcher.
BTW are you using windows 7 beta? If so, there is no beta release for the console launcher app for windows 7. It is only current supported in Vista and XP. However, you should be able to install it using compatibility mode but how well it would work/function is beyond me. Good luck.

  • Where is the ExternalAccessories framework located in Xcode 6?

It appears that the ExternalAccessories.framework file has moved from Xcode 5 to Xcode 6.  It used to be in the /System/Library/Frameworks folder.

It is gone in iOS 6. Use the Mobil site, download the app from the App Store, there is nothing that you can do about it until Google releases an app for the IPad.
it wasn't a competition thing. They couldn't agree on some other issues.

  • Where is the Edit Develop Settings option???

    Hi all
I am doing some study for my Photoshop ACE exam with the help of a study guide (ACE Exam Aid).
One of the questions it asks is:
You have saved the current image settings as a preset in Camera Raw and want to apply it in part or whole to selected raw files in bridge. What should you do?
The answer turns out to be: Choose Edit > Develop Settings and then select preset by name.
Now for the life of me I can't seem to find this Edit > Develop settings option in Photoshop, Camera RAW or Bridge!
Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Highlight an image in bridge, then simply go to edit and it is the 11th choice down in the list.

  • Where is the Enterprise Manager Console going to in 10?

All , where can i find out the EM in 10g? I've installed the Enterprise version ? The EM would be removed in new 10g? or is there another tool replaced it ? thanks..

Do you want to create Oracle Enterprise Manager
manually? I don't believe that's possible-- you need
    to install OEM.
Are you asking how to create a database manually,
    rather than through the DBCA?

I have created database through DBCA, but in the end I choice "Generate Database Creation Scripts" but no "Create Database". Later I have run script, but OEM no created. My OS - w2k. After completion scripts I not detected Windows service "OracleDBConsoleSID". Why? In DBCA I checked "Configure the database with Enterprise Manager".
    Sorry for bad English.

  • Signing problems on new android developer console

Hi, I'm facing a problem while submitting apps created with AIR 3.7 to the google play. The apps are being self-signed as provided by AIR, using the certificate creation and packaging functionality provided by adt. However, when I try to upload them to google play I receive an error message about the lack of signing.
The strangest thing is that this only happens if I use the new developer console interface (the default one now). If I go back to the old interface, the upload process is completed and the app is published as it was on the past. Had anyone face this? Is this a known bug of AIR packaging or of the new google play publish interface?

Hi, Nimit, the problem persists even with the latest version of the SDK. It's a quite strange problem, indeed. The app I sent to Google play using the old interface - and accepted - became available and installs with no problems on Android devices - new installations or updates from previous versions. I contacted Google about it without success... Here is a screenshot of the problem on the new developer interface:
The application name is Managana (and also ManaganaR - the same problem for this one too). Here are the direct links for them on Google Play, both working since they were uploaded with the old developer console layout:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.art.ciclope.managana
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.art.ciclope.managana.remote
The certificate was created with the following command line on Windows:
adt.bat -certificate -validityPeriod 25 -cn Managana 1024-RSA Managana.p12 [my password here]
This very same certificate file was used on all previous versions of the sofware, and I never got any problems using it...

  • Xcode 3 - Where's the Log window?

In Xcode 2 NSLog()Used to print text to a log panel. Now it doesn't. Where is the log window? I can't find it and a search of the help files doesn't produce any results. Also I can't find any menu item that would help. Generally I'm very confused by the big changes in the Xcode and Interface Builder GUIs. Most of the programming examples in my books are now FUBAR. Also the bookmarks in my browser to the Cocoa documentation are now invalid. What a bummer.

Well, it's an all-new application, it can be disturbing indeed.
However, your log window still exists, and its name never changed, it's called Console.
So, look into the preferences --> Debugging, look at the "On start" local menu, select "Show console", when you'll build and go your App the console window will appear and display your logs.
