  • To include a JAR file that contains enterprise beans in a WAR module

    1)I'm studying java ee tutorial in 6 but I do not understand what he means by "To include a JAR file that contains enterprise beans in a WAR module, add the JAR to the WEB-INF/lib directory of the WAR module" at this link:
    http://docs.oracle.com/javaee/6/tutorial/doc/gipio.html
    how do I create a file. jar to hold the enterprice beans in netbeans?
    2)
    as regards the case study prensete always in the tutorial "dukes-forest" I do not understand how it is structured, I think that the "dukes-store" is a web application (web module. war) to which are added other projects "entities "etc. .. is that correct? if it is right how do I create the project "entities" in netbeans? how do I add it to the project "dukes-store"?

    Hi,
    I have also tried putting the actual jar file in my
    jar file that I created, that didn't work either.
    I didn't try extracting the contents of the jar file
    into mine because the directory structure would
    conflict my dir structure in the jar file (manifest
    file that is)Out of curiosity are you trying to use executable jar files? If so you might want to put the classpath in the manifest using Class-Path: blah.jar etc. Be remember that this resolves to the disk filesystem not the internals of the jar that is being executed. In other words - the blah.jar file resides in the same directoy on the disk as your executable jar.
    If you could clearly describe what you are trying to achive and how it is structured I am sure we could give you more pointers.

  • Where is the jar file to have jolt.pool.*

    hi,
    where to find the jar files that have
    bea.jolt.pool.DataSet;
    bea.jolt.pool.Result;
    bea.jolt.pool.SessionPool;
    bea.jolt.pool.SessionPoolManager;

    If you are using Tuxedo 7.1 or 8 (or Tuxedo 6.x+Jolt), you should find
    it in joltjse.jar under $TUXDIR/udataobj/jolt.
    If you are using WLS 5.1, you should find in under
    $WL_HOME/classes/bea/jolt/pool or in the service pack jar.

  • Where are the jar files downloaded.

    When I run a javafx sample, the first time, it downloads so many jarfiles to a particular place on my box. When I run another sample, it downloads some other jar files, and I can bet some of the jar files downloaded by the previous sample are also downloaded by this sample, I am just thinking, if there is a central place where all downloads go to, then can we have an app check in that folder to see if a jar file is present before downloading it again??

    saHey trinisoftinc - I recommend you go investigate java webstart (jnlp). This behavior should not unique to JavaFX applications packed into jnlp but Java as well. I believe it's quite complex and I think Sun have done the right thing here. Duplication is better than potential inconsistencies between supposedly 'identical' jar's. Also, who really sign's jar's anyway.... not many... if any ;)

  • PhoneGap 3.2.0 where is the .jar file?

    Hi,
    I'm working with this tutorial
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/html5/articles/getting-started-with-phonegap-in-eclipse-for-an droid.html
    I can't find the .jar file he is talking about anywhere. I'm using Mac OS X 10.9. I found where phonegap was installed but there is only a cordova.js file and no cordova.jar or phonegap.jar or anything like it! I've looked everywhere and I found that 2.7.0 had this. Is this ok to use?
    I wasted so much time on this. Adobe, please update your documentation, it's a year and a half old!
    Thanks for any help!

  • Where are the jar files added to a project listed?

    Hi Guys and Gals,
    This should be an easy one, and yes, I have searched google and the forums.
    My Master application/project uses task flows from other projects. These projects have been deployed to jar files, which are then added to my Resource Palette under the File System. From there, I may use these task flows in my Master project by clicking on their corresponding .jar file and selecting "Add to Project". However, where in the world are they listed?
    I would think they would be in Project Properties->Libraries and Classpath, but they are not.
    Using JDev 11.1.2.1.0.
    Befuddled,
    Will

    All ADFLibs are put into a lib named ADFLibrary. If you ADFLibs are dependent on other libs or jars you may see a lib 'ADF Dependend Libraries' which contain all secondary jars.

  • Where are the latest files that be downloaded in the computer?

    a problem confused me recently.i cannot find the files which be downloaded by adobe application manager.
    so, who can help me? thanks.

    Bear with me:
    Where the actual files are stored doesn't matter. If you want to delete them you put them in the iPhoto Trash and then empty it. Thereafter you also empty the system trash. Do this in batches of about 100 or so at a time.
    If you delete the files directly via the Finder then you will corrupt your Library.
    Yes, if you have photos linked from iphoto to other apps, then deleting them will break those links.
    Have you considered moving the whole Library to another disk?
    Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
    As an FYI: The files are stored in the iPhoto Library package in your Pictures Folder.
    Regards
    TD

  • Where is the DLL file that exports these functions?

    I have been tasked with controlling a DAQCard E-series via program written in C. My development environment is MinGW on Windows 2000, with DAQ-MX and Traditional installed.
    I started by using the MX example code as a foundation. Everything goes well it comes time to link the code; the linker can't find the exports defined anywhere.
    E.g.: WriteDigPort_Fn.o : undefined reference to 'DAQmxCreateTask@8'
    WriteDigPort_Fn.o : undefined reference to 'DAQmxCreateD0Chan@16'
    etc.
    (Same with the Traditional example, since it's using the same NIDAQmx.h header file)
    My guess is these are properly defined in the (MSVC) .lib file supplied, but MinGW doesn't like it. I can build a definition file for this DLL that Min
    GW will like, but to do this I need to know, what is the name of the DLL file these functions actually are exported from?
    PS: Not part of my question, but for everyone searching here for info on NI DAQ + MinGW: MinGW defines 64-bit integer types using 'long long' instead of 'int64'. If you're getting errors referring to int64/etc., change the following lines in NIDAQmx.h:
    //typedef __int64 int64; // replace this
    typedef long long int64; // with this
    //typedef unsigned __int64 uInt64; // and this
    typedef unsigned long long uInt64; // with this

    Greetings,
    The NI-DAQmx ANSI C functions are contained within nicaiu.dll. This DLL should be available in the following location:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32
    Good luck with your application.

  • Where is the B1 field that contains the ITEM DESCRIPTION in the ecommerce

    Is there a place in B1 where we can put in the ITEM DESCRIPTION?
    I lookever all over but I don't think the ITEM description in the ecommerce side exists in B1.
    Mike

    Mike, I think you might be referring to the Part Name (which is really the description), "PartsMaster.PartName," from Web Tools. If so, the matching field in B1 is Item Name, "OITM.ItemName."
