Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

The last message had some more stuff in between the "Hello" and "Regards" - I have no idea what happened to it. But nevermind...
I started up the Mini with the modem in one usb, and the speaker system in the other (M-Audio Sonica Theatre) - I have one of the Minis that have only 2 USB (and one FireWire) ports. The firewire has the external drive connected to it.
So far, as I"m typing this, I AM able to be online and use iTunes simultaneously. (both SaFari and iTunes respond slower than if I was using only one or the other, but they ARE actually working - in addition to having Adium running) - So I think what you suggested ( that is was something wonky was the USB hub) was a correct, yet assessment.
Would you have any reccommendations for USB hubs? The only thing that I have connected to the hub under normal circumstances that would be constantly "running" would be the RadioShark (even though the Radio soft isn't playing - the blue light on the RadioShark is always on) - and the speakers naturally. Everything else is of the occassional variety - iPod Sync Cable, Dual Layer External DVD Burner, and a "pass thu" to the USB ports on my Hard Drive Enclosure (which had been unplugged before the problem was noticed). Figuring the best way to create a web site

i am an inexperienced java developer. i need to create web application where the user logs in. i want to know wish is the best way to go about.
for eg,: should all my content be in one jsp file(logic, presentation and db logic) or should i servlets or should develop a j2ee application and have a web server send requests to an application server. i just wanna know which is the best way to develop a sophisticated web site that will not require major code rewriting in future and that won't be difficult to maintain. any advice will be warranted.
also, what is an application server and is there a free one available.

After I open the first Firefox browser window, any additional window I open does not open my homepage, but opens a blank page with "New Tab" showing on the tab. An orange "Firefox" tab with a drop down arrow shows at the upper left hand corner of the screen. All of the options (File, Edit, etc.) are greyed out, however they will work if you move your cursor over them.
The URL address window says "Go to a Web Site". After I've gone to a website, the back button remains greyed out and I am not able to go back to a previous page. My RoboForm and Netcraft toolbars only show up in an abbreviate form. The add-on bar doesn't show up at all.
Again, this is a recent problem, and only happens after I've opened one browser window (which works fine) and then open additional browser windows (as few as one additional).I had this same problem. Seems to be caused by the web developer tool bar FF extension (this started happening after a recent update to that extension). After disabling it, my FF is back to normal :)

In the prior version of Firefox before I was encouraged to download the newest version... when I would open a new tab: on the blank page below would appear thumbnail versions of web sites I had frequented which was awesome to return to sites without even going to bookmarks. Now when I open a new tab it is just a blank white screen beneath. Is there something I can do to make thumbnails appear again on the screen below when I open a new tab?

I have to go to Internet Explorer to view these two pages, and, I used to be able to get it all on Firefox.
Both of the sites you mention use FlashPlayer content.
Firefox on Windows is having continuing problems that developers from Flash & Firefox are looking into. It is possible you may need to uninstall the troublesome FlashPlayer 11.3 and install Flash 10.3 or 11.2

Where is the drop down list with "edit web part" for a list??
In Sharepoint 2010, there was a drop down list to the far right of a list. One of the options was to Edit Web Part. In Sharepoint 2013, I can't find the drop down list. Nothing is to the right of my list and mouse overs down't reveal
anything. I am trying to get to that area to change my toolbar type. Any clues as to where the "edit web part" has gone to?I've been able to edit Web Part properties for weeks, but a few days ago, I could no longer do it, either by using the checkbox in the upper right corner of the web part or by using Web Part Properties in the Web Part tab. It's greyed out.
Then yesterday I could do it again and today I can't. An intermittent problem!
No one has changed any Sharepoint Admin settings.
Anyone have any ideas? They would be greatly appreciated. -

I do not see a Logout button on the web configuration interface. Should not there be one?
There is really no logout/signout for the web interface. You just simply close your browser. When you open the web interface, it will always ask you for the password.
