Where is the jspdynpage in .par file for masthead

I have a project in NWDS with .par file for masthead.
In the dist folder I found the jsp files but where will I get the jspdynpages in this project.
I want to add the code to connect to R/3 in this dynpage for lightheaderiview.jsp
Please help.

Hi Anzar,
If you describe the scenario then probably you might get more helpful answers. You can write a custom module JSP which will use JCO adapters to fetch the data you need from the backend systems.
Thanks,

  • What is the name of PAR file for SAP logo?

We want to know  the exact name for the PAR file for the SAP logo at the upper
right conner of the EP, and the PAR file for the picture before the SAP logo.
We know it is in the pcd directory but there are too many.
    Points guaranteed. Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer,
That par file name is "com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par.bak".
It is available at System Administration>Support>Portal Runtime>Browse and Deployments>ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/pcd.
If u download that file to ur NWDS u can see the logo icon and pictures used inside the image folder presents in dist folder.
In the coding part they have used the url to this pictures and logos.
    Note:
While downloading that file from pcd save it with the extension .par remove that .bak from the name.and import that par file to ur NWDS.

    Hi Anzar,

    > Check dist>PORTAL-INF>jsp
That is misleading of course, as you said that you found the JSPs by yourself.
The JSPDynPage implementation you won't find if you imported the PAR into NWDS, as the sources are not part of the PAR. And the compiled JAR parts of the PAR are not imported into NWDS automatically. So you would have to copy the JARs into the project manually, and within the JARs, you'll find the JSPDynPage implementation (if it is done via JSPDynPage). For changing something inside the implementation, you would have to decompile the classes you want to change, put them as sources into the project and delete the original compiled version within the copied JAR.
That way, you can change the implementation and create a new deployable PAR with your changes inside.
    Hope it helps

  • How to find the PAR file for standard iviews??

    HI all,
I am trying to customize some screens provided by the standard EP portal. But i am not understanding which will be the PAR file which has code for these iviews.
For example, in the "Approval screen for New user registration" has an iview which displays the info given by the user(seeing which user admin will either approve or reject the new user). I need to change this.
Also the screen where new user enters his information(when the company feature is enabled,it shows a second screen where Contact info of the user, etc. are asked) , needs to be changed which also some iviews.
Please help me in finding the right PAR file and the JSP which needs to be edited for this purpose (and how to find these in general for any standard screens)
    Regards,
    Narahari

    Hi Narahari,
--and how to find these in general for any standard screens)
For getting the right par file for any standard iviews, Check out the property named <b>Code link</b>, which is there in the property list of every iview. This will give you a clear cut idea on which PAR file you have to edit to obtain the desired result.

  • Where are the official microsoft ISO's for windows 10 preview?

    Hi All,
Where are the official Microsoft ISO's for Windows 10,  10051 and 10056 preview?   They are all over the web, but I don't trust them unless they comes from Microsoft itself.
    Many thanks,
    -T

    To ToddAndMargo,
RE : Is there a way to manually go to Windows Updates and manually download a particular file
No. All updates will be downloaded and installed automatically. You don't get to choose which to install and which to decline.
RE : And I can't find 10049's ISO either (from Microsoft).
As of now, the only most current ISO available is for build 10041. Build 10049 ISO is not yet available.
When build 10049 is released from Slow ring, usually it is also the time its ISO will be released.
    RE: ESD file. How?
One cannot download an esd file of build 10049 from Windows Update.
You download and install the entire build 10049 via Windows Update. When it is done, you can then find its Installed.esd file from RecoveryImage folder and use it to manually create an ISO fie. You will need a specific program to create an ISO from Esd.
You might ask " why do I need an ISO fie if the operating system is already installed ?"
Some users are advocates of "clean install". They prefer clean install over upgrade install. Clean install can be done by burning the ISO file into a bootable DVD or an USB with at least 4 GB capacity and use it to install.
You can also use the same media and install in another compatible computer.
It can also serve as an emergency backup incase you need to reinstall.

Writing in pages in Afrikaans. Spellcheck keep on correcting to dutch. Switched off spell check and also looked in System preferences - keyboard. this stops the "Auto-correct" but does not help me with Afrikaans or other language spell check.  Where do I get languages other than what Apple offer and where is the dictionary, Library, spelling files.

You are basically limited to what Apple deigns to offer.
Try LibreOffice [free] which has a huge selection of languages.

Now my query is I went to System admin->support-Portal runtime->Root Folder-->Portal apps........

Or I need to change the file format into par or par.bak file?
please tell me how to go about it.........
higher points will be rewarded for the useful inputs.......
    Thanks in Advance,
    Dharani

    Hi Dharani,
Tools --> Options --> Compiler --> Check box deploy for par and mention the namespace and vendorname in the PAR prefix name
Very similar to how its done in NWDS.

  • How to find the source code in the par files for B Package  Projects 50.3

    Hi,
I want to modify the par files (related to Business Package Projects 50.3) which i imported into Netweavier Developer Studio. I didn’t find any jsp files or any java files in it.
If any one worked in this Business Package for Projects 50.3, please give the solution.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Ravi,
The recommended appraoch for modifying Business Packages is by using NWDI - Netweaver Development Infrastructure.( new name for JDI)
You should be able to make modification, package/build a new version and deploy. The pre-requisite is you need to set up NWDI on the server, create a Track in CMS(Change Management SErvice) and configure your DTR. Once done you can import the configuration file into your NW Developer Studio and make modifications.
      hope this helps.
