Where is the license file?

Hi,
I'm upgrading 3.0.1 to 3.2 version. In the process of upgrade, the setup program asked me for license file. I was thinking it will automatically found old one. I found several license files in my system:
Under \CSCOpx\etc\licenses there are 5 .lic files. Do I need select them all to upgrade?
Thanks.
Lou

Thanks Joe for quick response. I guess somebody just used 3.0.1 eval to install before. I searched the system and found there is one directory: Ciscoworks 3.0\eval and there are cm.lic, dfm.lic, ipm.lic, rme.lic. When I open these files, I see there is "Evalution" word in every file. Also I find there is another lic file in the current program files directory called "LMS20090903071445912.lic". 20090903 is the last time when they installed the Ciscoworks. Should I use this LMS20090903071445912.lic file? There is no evaluation word in this file and this file includes all components licenses we bought.
Thanks.
Lou

  • Using Third-Party jar file in database; Where to put license file?

    Hi!
I have a third-party product that has a .jar file that references some .so files. I have successfully loaded the .jar file and the .so files are being called successfully, but when the program gets to the part where it reads the third-party license file, it is failing (ORA-3113 and an hs_err_pid<12345>.log and udump file are created. I know the issue is the location of the license file because I am getting the same exact error when I run it outside of the database. (I have been able to run it successfully outside of the database.)
The instructions for the third-party product say to put the license file in the application's runtime directory.
What I can't figure out is this: What is the application's runtime directory when I am running the code in the database?
I thought it would be user.dir which is set to $ORACLE_HOME, but putting the license file there didn't work. I have tried lots of other places under $ORACLE_HOME.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Laurel

    Hi Laurel:
Whether or not you can read the license file, sure you will have problem then when trying to load your .so file.

  • The license file will not be written to disk...

I keep having to write the serial number and user information when I run Final Cut Pro and any other Final Cut Studio apps.
It says: The license file will not be written to disk because the user does not have enough privileges.
So everytime I open a final cut studio program I am asked for this information again before running.
This is REALY annoying. I tried reinstalling, and it wouldn't help.

Click here and follow the instructions.

  • Where are the audio files located?

You know how when your video source is missing, it shows that ! with a yellow triangle around it? Then, when you hover over the !, it shows you where iMovie expected to find the video, and then you can just move the video there and it's fixed. But for audio, it doesn't show you where it is supposed to be located when you hover over the ! in the audio file (music green bar).
So, where are the music files supposed to be located so that it can find them?
    Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge, iMovie simply links to the music file from wherever it is located in your system. That could be the iTunes Library, your Desktop, an external drive, or other places. So if you move the music to a different location, I assume that iMovie will lose track of it. iMovie doesn't actually import the music to the project - it's just referencing it (as far as I'm aware).
If you know the name of the track (or tracks, or artists), try doing a search both within iTunes and on your hard drive using Spotlight. If found, the best solution is probably to drag it again into your project, then do the necessary edits if applicable.
Note that, in iMovie the music tracks are identified by song name - it's shown at the beginning of the green audio bar. So the songs shouldn't be too difficult to track down. It's just a pain having to re-instate them.
