OSX 10.9.4 -- The only way I can find the Network Utilities app is by using Spotlight search. I don't see it in the Applications folder in Finder, nor in the Launcher. Could you tell me where it is, please?

An alternate approach: Open the application via Spotlight. From the applications resulting dock icon, control-click, then options, then "Show in Finder". Now make an alias ("shortcut") via control click, "Make alias". Put that alias in your Applications or Utilities folder.

My Droid DNA just installed the new update, which is very nice. However, the my files app is nowhere to be found. I checked my apps list and widgets and cannot find it. Could someone tell me where it is?

HTC phones typically don't have a file explorer app pre-installed other than a "Downloads" app to access your downloaded files. I have seen this coming from using at least three different HTC phones in the last four years since getting my HTC DROID Eris in November 2009.
You will be better off finding a file explorer app from the Play Store and using across all the Android devices you have.

Where is the firefox sync app??? its not under options

I a trying to set up the firefox app on my iphone..and i have not been able to find the firefox sync app/ add on to set up the sync account from my desktop version..its not under the options tool bar, and i am running the latest version of firefox.

Where are the daily released apps? The new page has them all mixed up. Is there any way to see only what has been released each day like it was before?

Since updating to ios6, the page with the newly released apps is gone, and replaced with something that has them all mixed together. Is there any way to search for apps released each day? I don't like the new setup, where it is categorized and you have to go through everything listed.

800 clips extracted from these obviously on the timeline and joined/compounded according to their content in say 15 layers according to 15 instruments used ,so now just to see the entire usable footage ....
now one 7 minute song sequence has to be made where bits would be simultaneously taken from these 15 layers as all instruments are playing simultaneously
these shots are not more than 2 secs each according to the beat........
when I try to work with these 15 layers as well as the Final primary layer that I'm making in the same timeline my fcpx becomes slow
but when I drag individual layer to individual timelines it is fine so that is the only option
but now for every 2 second bit I have to go back to the 15 layered timeline and find one single suitable shot
So I was wondering is there a way to be able to see these layers and clips on the timeline in the browser in a systematic fashion like the way we get with keywords ?
and keywords can only be used in the imported clips already in the browser ,and not after we drag it on the timeline.....
Till now I think exporting and importing back is the only option ...but is there another work around ?

Where did the baby Einstein app go?

I just noticed the other day that the Baby Einstein app was not on my desktop any longer. Thinking it must have been removed by my increasingly tech savy 2 year old, I went to re-install it at the app store.....alas it is no more. Did the app get done away with?

Look like it's been removed. No idea why. If you don't have a backup, then you're out of luck. Sorry.

I cannot find the you tube app in the new ios6. It's not in the App Store, only the iPhone version. What's wrong here? Is apple taking its competition with rivals too far?

It is gone in iOS 6. Use the Mobil site, download the app from the App Store, there is nothing that you can do about it until Google releases an app for the IPad.

Where has the CBC News App gone?

I have had a problem with the CBC News App the News stories were frozen. It stated that the story had been up dated to the day and time shown on the i pad, but the story was 3 days old and did not change fro day to day. This occured after up grading the app from the i tunes program.The weather forecast was current.
Does anyone have an explanation ?
I deleted the App on the i pad on Feb 2nd and then went to the store to downlode it again but it was and is no longer there. Why?

I have a similar problem. My CBC News app can no longer open on my iPad and it is no longer available in the Canadian App Store. This is an excellent app and I would like to restore it. Does anyone know what is going on?

Where's the Basic Photos App?

So, I deleted the basic "Photos" app from my iPhone and iPad, and now I want it back. Unfortunately, it's not in the App Store. You know the one: It's got the yellow sunflower icon, and it now includes Photo Stream. Any thoughts on how I can get the app back? Built-in apps cannot be deleted, and thus, are not available in the App Store. Try going to Settings, then General, then Reset, then proceed to 'Reset Home Screen Layout.'

My iPhone 4s no longer has sound for any of the applications but it does have sound for phone functions. Where is the setting for app sound? I have gone to the multitask screen and the volume bar is empty.

I recently found my phone outside in light rain (it had been there about 20 minutes). It had some glitches at first, however after letting it rest overnight it seemed to mostly recover. The one problem I am having is that I no longer have sound for any of my applications. I do have sound for phone fuctions, and I am able to use the speaker for phone functions.
When I am in my applications, including music/videos, the only way I can hear is if I use my earbuds. I am able to make a video and it will record sound just fine.
When I go to the multitask screen, the volume bar is empty and I cannot adjust it using the side buttons (even though in settings I have that feature activated). I completely reset all of my settings tonight and that did not make a difference.
Is there a setting I am missing, or am I just SOL? I am trying to avoid having to get a whole new phone but it is very frustrating to not have sound with my applications.

There are two places where vibrations can be set.
One is the Settings > Sounds
The other area is Settings > Notifications
If you have an app set to Alert, it may have a vibration set for it.

Muse Crashes - Where's the Love? App Launch Failures & Database Errors

I really love Adobe Muse but I'm really frustrated by it's instability.
There are two general problems that I consistently experience.
App Launch Issues
Firstly, and an issue I am experiencing right now is, a launch error where the program refuses to open displaying an error message then crashes immediately.
Today's message is:
Anyone experienced this before or have a solution? I tired signing in and out of Creative Cloud and uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Muse and same issue.
Database Errors / Save File Errors
I can generally expect for a Muse save file to become totally unusable for some sort of random database error totally messing up my save file making me have to step back to one I've previously saved. Just like the wii brought back load time in a serious way Adobe Muse is bringing back incremental save practices we'd all LOVE to abandon.
Why This Sucks
I don't do high-end web development but I offer basic sites to clients with simple needs and I find Muse to be a delightful product given my skills and base in photoshop.
Not being able to update sites or launch the application at all is SUPER annoying.
It certainly justifies NOT using Adobe Muse for complex sites.
If there is a general approach I can take to avoiding these issues I'm all eyes and fingers.

Solution for "Üser ID Mismatch"
Please do the following steps and you will be all set.
1. Sign out from Muse By going to Help > Sign out. (if you see the option to do that)
2. Sign out from Creative Cloud Application. (Steps are mentioned in the link Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app), then Quit Creative Cloud Application.
3. Rename the "OOBE" folder to "OOBEold"
MAC : (This folder can be found at Finder > Go > Go to Folder> Type ~/library/application support/Adobe > Hit return)
Widows : ( This folder can be found at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe )
4. Relaunch Muse, Sign in with your Adobe ID.
Suggestion for database error:
Is the file saved on local location or at a network drive or external location live Dropbox or Google drive.
Please move the file to desktop and then try to save the file after making few changes. Hopefully you will not get any error.
If you still get the error please share the exact error screenshot.
