Where is the "Logo Example (UI-integration)" example?

As per this page

in the "Logo Example (UI-integration)" section there should be a "'GEF4 MVC Logo Example" which can simply be installed from the update-sites. I can not find the example even when I use the "-- All Available Sites --" option on the "Install new software" panel.

Although the NI-USRP driver does indeed install examples, the current NI-USRP 1.1 release does not update the LabVIEW Example Finder with entries for these examples. To find the examples, you can navigate the Windows Start Menu to the following location:
Start Menu\Programs\National Instruments\NI-USRP\Examples
This Start Menu entry includes several Shortcuts that point to folders that are the home to example VIs.

It looks like Agilent/HP makes the 8990A, but I was not able to find a driver for it that we or Agilent has written for this device.
Since I am not familiar with the 8990A, I cannot recommend which drivers might be similar, but you are pointed in the right direction. Agilent themselves might know more about which models use similar command sets so that you can modify a driver easily.

Where are the example files?

hi all,
I have the full labview 8.5 developer edition installed on my computer, however i have the book labview 8 student edition (includes 8.2) that i am trying to learn from. the difficulty is i do not seem to have the example files mentioned in the book and i cannot locate them on the student edition cd. can someone please point me to where i might find them? thanks!

Can you tell me the name of one of the examples you can't find? And you are sure that you are checking the NI Example Finder (Help » Find Examples...)? Additionally, some our shipping examples are installed with our drivers, you may have to install some of our drivers to see the examples you are looking for. If you are able to find the website for the book, the examples may also be found there.

Not sure about examples but this is how you should proceed
1. Limit all your dimension to the leaf level values.
lmt financialperiod to '200901'
lmt geography to 'XYZ'
lmt product to 'LAPTOP'
2. Limit your measure variable to one measure(this is applicable if you have more than one stored measure in the cube).
for 10g
lmt <cube name>prtmeasdim to '<MEASURE NAME>'
for 11g
lmt <cube name>measuredim to '<MEASURE NAME>'
3. Write into the variable.
for 10g
<cube name>prttopvar = 100 -- this variable is created for a compressed & partitioned cube. for uncompressed cube the variable name is <cube name>_stored.

The password: The weblogic password you provide when prompted
must be at least: minimal condition for secure passwords enforced on WLS by default
at least 8 alphanumeric characters: no 7 but eight or more characters
with at least one number or special character: password should have a number in it or an "@" "-" or similar
E.g.

is one password option that would meet that requirement

How to add a image in the DocSign example

I am struggling to add a image to the DocSign example instead of text. If somebody could give me a few hints it would be much appretiated.
I am currently modifying the CreateN2XObject function.
My situation is as follows:
I am drawing a image using the wxWidget library. From this a save the raw pixel data to a file. The pixel data is an array of unsigned chars where the first RGB triplet corresponds to the pixel first pixel of the first row, the second one to the second pixel of the first row and so on until the end of the first row; and so on...
In the CreateN2XObject I create an ASStm to read this file.
I create an attribute dictionary for this image
And then a new cos stream from the ASStm and dictionary
When I return from the function the plugin says that it is successfully signed, but I see nothing on the screen.
When I open the 'signed' document in a text editor I see:

Using the States Example how can I set Selected to Maryland Without RowNumber

Let's use the states example for the sake of everyone having
the code in front of them. If I am returning a value from the
database that I am writting out to the application like this

how can I set the selected value to that without knowing what
the row number is, here is my try but I get a few error messages:

I believe what you guys are looking for is the
Set
Default Row Based on Specific Column sample that is on the
Spry
Samples Page.
The problem of using a spry:if="{name} ..." approach is that
it only makes sure the form select widget is set to what the server
thinks is the current row in the data set, but it doesn't actually
set the current row in the data set to reflect this, so the cities
select is out of sync cause it is defaulting to displaying the
cities for the first row in the states data set.
Checkout the sample I mentioned above, it will show you how
to set up an observer where you can query for the correct row
immediately after the data is loaded, and then set the current row
so that everything is as expected.

So as you can see I have no spaces in the directories names.

Anyone got the SimpleCertAuthenticator example working with 5.1??

The SimpleCertAuthenticator example that does the client certificate to user
mapping doesn't seem to work. I followed the instructions and tried many

I got the example working on wls 5.1 using sp8 both in Linux and NT.
Try to print something in the SimpleCertAuthenticator constructor, because the
SimpleCertAuthenticator is instantiated during startup, be sure that you can see
the startup so that you can verify if the handle has ben installed correctly.

Are yo able to invoke the backend service directly from soapUI or similar tool? If yes, you can enable tracing on the Business service and capture the request sent out from OSB and compare the same with the one that works in soapUI. This should lead you to the exact issue.

Well, Remember(you might have done this) u have to run the
setExamplesEnv.cmd after u add the client.jar in the classpath. Also, the
ant command will work only in the window where u ran the setExamplesEnv.cmd.

How to delete the databse of the medrec Example and where does the admin user and password information gets stores(which table).

Do you mean to say that a blank ALV should be displayed. You can try by deleting the contents of the Internal Table from which the ALV is Displayed.

Adapting the OCI examples for VC++. Errors

Hi,
I can build and run the OCI example 6 .c in VC++ IDE as a console app.
Now I want to develop my code further with hpp and cpp files to create SDI/MDI application that uses an adapted version of the OCI6 Example. My problem is that the error (below) keeps coming up.
Where could the problem be?
As this project has been adapted from the .c console app all of the include files and library files seem to be added sucessfully yet I still get these errors.

I have found that if I change the settings for the .cpp file
from:
Use precompiled header files.
To:
Don't use precompiled header files.
The error message changes:

Help Running The SpeakHere Example

Hi,
I'm a newbie to iphone development coming from world of windows, so apologies in advance if it's a dumb question. I'm trying to run the SpeakHere example but so far unable to do so. The program compiles and launches, but freezes when I click 'record'. I tried to debug, and it seems to crash at:
recorder->StartRecord(CFSTR("recordedFile.caf"));
At least it doesn't go past this line (there's no error). So far I checked that audio input works in another app (garage band), gave the speakhere's sandbox full permissions, made sure I have the latest version of the os and sdk, and now not too sure what to do. Any help greatly appriciated.

Problem Solved:
After discovering where to look for errors I found that the error was:
Error loading /Library/QuickTime/DivX Decoder.component...
The solution was to remove the decoder and encoder from the /Library/QuickTime folder.

Where is the "Logo Example (UI-integration)" example?
