where is the magnet located in the track pad and display lid?
have to see if theres a problem with the display magnet because when i close the lid, the sleep function does not work.
am using a fridge magnet to move around the track pad to see if this will activate sleep mode. im begining to wonder if its worth just going with out the auto sleep mode and maybe try n get some money of what i paid for it (it was a refurb machine)
as a guess, around the middle of trackpad, maybe half an inch moving from the lead edge towards the screen
also, give it a few seconds to activate in any one spot - it's not instant

Where is the default location for the OC4J logs?
Depends on what variant of the product you are using.
In an Oracle Applicaiton Server environment (ie the one you install versus unzip) the stdout/stderr streams from OC4J are captured in the $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/<group-instance> directory.
If you are using standalone then stdout goes to the console where you started the process.
The logs for the OC4J instance itself are located in $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/log/<instance_group> directory. In this directory you'll see different logs for differet areas of the server. Most of the logs however are captured in the oc4j sub-directory in the log.xml file. Whenever you enable an OC4J component logger in the j2ee-logging.xml file or via ASControl, this is where the logs will end up.
Take a look at the $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/config/j2ee-logging.xml file -- the log handlers will give you some idea on the different log files that are in use.
You can configure your application loggers to also direct their log into this file if you wish. See http://buttso.blogspot.com/2007/09/directing-log-messages-into-oc4j.html for an example. -

I have read somewhere that there is a proceeding to calibrate the magnetic compass on the 5230, and my questions are:
1) The 5230 has a magnetic compass built in it? Where it is documented?
2) It is used in navigation using Ovi Maps? How and when?
3) How I can calibrate it, making the 360 turn, as suggested elsewhere? On what screen/menu is the function selected?

To know about compass keep your cell in open i.e. under open sky with no roofing or building obstacles
Press menu
Icon with "Location" will appear or otherwise go to applications there you find "Location"
Press Location
Go to "GPS Data"
You will find compass on Navigation icon

Override the last location of the dw.browseForFolderURL
Hi all,
Is it possible to override the last location of the
dw.browseForFolderURL()? So that when I call the
dw.browseForFileURL() function would the open select dialog box at
the folder I set via “myVar_Override”.
So the user would not have to browse for the right folder it
just opens in the right location set via my
“myVar_Override” they choose the file and its done.

It's not setting the
"dreamweaver.browseForFolderURL()function I have an issue with.
It's once someone selects a folder with the above function
the dw.browseForFileURL() will start at the last location
where the dreamweaver.browseForFolderURL() was called last
and thats fine in most cases but I have a special need to be able
to set the dw.browseForFileURL() starting point which does not have
the parameter as does the "dreamweaver.browseForFolderURL()"
function.
But I know the DW has to have the Location store in memory or
in a file somewhere. I'd like to write a new location to the
variable holding that information. -

When I download firefox, using recommended setting, or my own, all the sub files/folders like plugins, modules, updater end up on the desktop as well as in the file location. And when I try to put them into the file location, they don't. And when I delete them, FireFox won't open. I tried deleting FireFox and reinstalling it multiple times, and a message pops up sometimes that says FireFox may not have installed correctly, so I follow the steps, but all the extra icons on my desktop don't go away. This has happened every time I have downloaded FireFox. The browser itself works, but I need to know how to get rid of these icons, but still be able to use FireFox. This is on a new computer, with Windows 7.

TIAI guess I'm misunderstanding the question, then.
I don't quite understand what you're trying to accomplish with this task. How does Excel factor into this? What value is it to have a report of x and y coordinates for an Acrobat page? This sounds like something you'd need for html coding, not a print document. If so, the pages should be exported as html pages, not Acrobat pdf files, from your original. I only ask because I have a feeling you might be creating way more work or expense for yourself than you need to be. The more information you can provide, the better advice you'll probably get.
If you need a report of x and y coordinates, I'm thinking Acrobat is the wrong application. It's not really a web design app. I don't have Dreamweaver here at my office, but I seem to remember that all that information is available if you open your pages in Dreamweaver, and there may be a way of extracting a report with just what you need. You might try asking your question on the Dreamweaver forum, if that's the route that makes more sense for what you're trying to do. -

Hi. I just downloaded Firefox 4. Some of the new features are missing such as the new "Firefox Button" and the new location for the bookmarks button. It almost looks just like Firefox 3. I am using Windows XP on this desktop computer. On my laptop, running Windows Vista, Firefox 4 has all the updates advertised. Why is this happening? How do I fix?
