Where is the microphone and globe symbol? It's not there, but its pictured before I downloaded the app on the store???? Please help!!!!
I have downloaded the "pages" app. Before I downloaded it I looked in the pictures and it shows a microphone and a globe. I have downloaded it and now have no microphone or globe!!! Please help on how I can get this!!!!

Your phone is carrier locked to a carrier other than the one you are trying to use.
It was apparently hacked to unlock it prior to your attempt to update. Updating has re-locked it to the original carrier.
Contact them and find out what their policy is. -

i had a new screen installed, everything working fine, as was using the phone, the next day I was flying so turn off the phone in the usual way...
oon arrival turned the phone on, received a slow acting black background with the apple sign visual, but never moved from that......... So tried a reset still the same just left looking at the apple sing in the middle if the screen,makes it there for 5 mins but still never turn on completely,,,,,
again I tried,,,,,, again I tried a reset, then started to received lines of white writing, about 4-5 lines slowly like it was being typed, which stateed INCORRECT SHUTDOWN, ????????? then took out my MacBook air, to connect to ITunes to see whaypt I could do,

After adding the latest update to my 5c iphone, the screen was black, with the itune logo in the center, a white arrow below it point to the logo, and below that, what seemed to be a white lock, but it had a long white line reaching the bottom of the screen. I can't get the phone to start. The white apple appears and then I get the same logo, arrow, etc. What can I do to fix this? Thanks for any assistance.

When trying to download free apps it says there is a minimum age resriction and disallows
The apps are getting the age of your 6-year old from the Apple ID. I am not sure if there is anything you can do about it.

Im a ex windows vista user, who evently became fed up and converted to a macbook pro. i just purchesed the macbook pro yesterday and have been trying to transfer all my music, contacts, notes, apps, etc. from my iphone 4 onto my new macbook pro. nothing seem to be working without it trying to erase all my info off of my iphone 4. I didnt think this would be a issue where they are both apple devices, but im now starting to regret the decision to purchace this macbook pro. please help me so i dont loose all my info trying to sync both devices. thanks for you help and advice
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
You can only sync the iPhone with one Mac or PC, so your Mac is asking you to erase the device because you synced it with another Mac or PC. To avoid this, I recommend you to copy the "iTunes" folder of your old Mac or PC (in Music folder) to the Music folder of your Mac, so you'll have the same data on your Mac as the data you had on the PC.
To transfer contacts, notes, etc., I recommend iCloud > http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ -
I have gone to this website almost everyday for years and I have not changed anything in my internet settings, but now I'm getting this message: secure connection failed: The Certifying Authority for this certificate is not permitted to issue a certificate with this name. (Error code: sec_error_cert_not_in_name_space) The only thing I KNOW I did differently, was I installed a CAC reader to my computer, since then, this has been happening. I just updated my ipad2 to ios7 0.2 latest update, but when I go to apps store to upgrade I don't see the upgrade button besides each app, nor when I go in for new apps I don't see free button to download new apps. Is there any setting that missed ? please help...
What do you see instead of update on the apps you are concerned about?
When updating to iOS 7 auto update for apps will be turned on. When an app has an update available your iPad will download and install the update with no input from you. Apps that have been updated by this automatic process but which have not yet been opened will show a blue dot before their name.
A record of updated apps is kept for your convenience. You can see this record by using the App Store app and select Updates, the right most choice in the bottom row. -
This is on my iPhone 5S. Updated to the latest software as well... anything I do in the app store requires my password even if I just entered it.
Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

I have 5.12gb space on my Macbook Air (Mid 2012). But when i attempt to upgrade the OS from Maver to Yosemite, i get a message "There is no enough disk space available to install this product". Please help
You need to temporarily free up additional drive space - the Yosemite download itself is just over 5GB and then it needs more space to install it. Once the new OS is installed the installer will be deleted. Music and movie files are large and will be the most convenient files to remove to an external drive.
On another note it isn't a good idea to try to run the computer with so little free drive space. Look for files you can offload to an external drive permanently. For example, I keep my music and movies on an external drive. You can keep a small assortment of music on the computer but save lots of space by keeping the regular media library off the computer. -
Upgrading to FF4.0, and manually rebooting again.
Window opened and Yahoo toolbar was mostly gone, except for white search box and its search button. Both are currently disabled. All other buttons that were with my Yahoo TB are gone.
Went to FF website using google search.

There is a newer version of iTunes than 10.6.3. The newest version is iTunes 11.2.2. It may help if you update iTunes first.
Has you iPad ever been jailbroken? You can get that error message if the device has been hacked. Have you tried recovery mode.
