When I create a new document in Dreamweaver CC, I get the following @media queries:
GLOBAL
only screen and (min-width : 481px)
only screen and (min-width : 769px)

I thought the fluid grid layout option in DW would create 3 screen sizes.
Do I have to create another special style sheet to only apply to the mobile version?
When I click on the mobile icon at the bottom of Dreamweaver's CC screen, I see the mobile page with the 4 column grid.
But how do I make changes to just one screen size, say mobile?
When I have the mobile view on my screen, and have GLOBAL @Media selected, the changes I make go across all screen sizes. I want some styling to only be applied to mobile. I don't understand how to do this. Could somone please claify if I am missing a @Media sheet and how to create it if needed. Thanks.

You're looking at plugin settings. A plugin setting is not an Ultrabeat sample. Wrong place. Look in:
/Library/Application Support/Logic/Ultrabeat Samples/
unless you've moved it elsewhere...

So far everyone at Verizon is replying to what is a current (with Jelly
Bean) reality. Know one has acknowledged that this was free and did not
require utilizing the Mobile Hot Spot at all to use.
Also, this is not a third party application. This is installed on the phone
in the original OS the RAZR Maxx shipped with as well as ICS and now Jelly
Bean. It is just not free anymore.

Hi! I see around the web that there is a mobile version of safari for iPhones and iPads but my iPad air has the standard desktop version with only 7 tabs available at a time and the interface that's not quite suited to iPads. How do I use the mobile version? Thanks!

The only version of Safari available for iOS devices (iPads, iPhones and iPod touches) IS the mobile version.
Your iPad is a mobile device and the version of Safari on it is the mobile version.
You already have what you are looking for. You do not have the desktop version of Safari on your iPad Air, you have the mobile version, the same as every other iPad owner.

Where has the mobile emulator for windows gone?

Posts going back a year or so, refer to the mobile emulator for windows. Those links don't seems to work/be there, is there currently a version for developers?

No. Those tools were for old versions of Fennec that are now deprecated and essentially dead. All current development is geared towards the Android platform.

Where is the TouchUp Reading Order Tool in Adobe Acrobat X

Hi,
Our company just switched to Adobe Acrobat X and I'm having issues with some of the tools. In the old adobe acrobat I was able to use the TouchUp Reading Order Tool; does that tool still exist in X? I've tried the Edit Object tool but it's not working for me. I've tried holding down shift and the Edit Object tool but that doesn't seem to work also.
Please help if you can.

In the Tools section on the right in Acrobat X, not all the possible tools are displayed. From the flyout menu at the upper right select the Accessibility section and you'll find it there.

Where's the Mobile Me gallery URL I created?

A few weeks ago, created a web gallery on Mobile Me from Aperture images.
At that time I got a URL to send out.
Weeks later I've added some new photos and want to send out the URL again but can't find (in Aperture) where this information is located.
Please help.

Don't know if there's a way to get back the announce button, but you can get the URL this way.

Billprint program where does the prior reading value come from? which table

hi all,
In billprint pgms the value is stored in structure ERDZ but i'm not able to find how these values are populated and where?
i need to know from which table prior reading and current readings are populated..
is there any program that triggers the billprint forms, if so how to find it?
pls suggest those pgm names.

If you have already attached the form in your contract account and you have done your meter read and Billing, you get these values during running of Invoice program.

Where is the Mobile server SDK ???

Hi! I have Installed the 9i Lite Linux distribution
olite_50200_linux.cpio.
I managed to get the web-to-go in standalone mode working with
my ORACLE 9i DB
Now I want to deploy an application , but I can't do that as the
above distribution does not install the MobileServer SDK.
Any help is appreciated.

I was reading through this article and most of it makes is pretty clear.
Can someone go into further detail on Overlays (resampled and pass-through) - specially in regard to resolution of assets (72 and 144)???
What is the best resolution to use for different asset types and for different iPads?

It would help if you provide a more detailed question. I'm afraid a rambling answer might might this seem more complicated than it is, but here's my take.
If you create a 1024x768 folio (no renditions), you don't need to concern yourself with resolution of assets. Use 72 ppi images as always.
If you create separate 1024x768 and 2048x1536 source files with two renditions, use 72-ppi images.
Let's suppose you're using one set of source files -- 1024x768 -- to create two renditions. When you import the articles into the 2048x1536 folio, the background content and overlay view areas are scaled up. What happens you have a slideshow, an image sequence, a video, and an image pan on a page?
Slideshow -- The slideshow is not a pass-through overlay, so the content on each state is scaled up and resampled as a PNG file. (If you're using the PDF image format, text and shapes in a slideshow are rasterized, unlike text and shapes that aren't part of an overlay.) In other words, you don't need to make any changes to slideshows or other resampled overlays (buttons, audio skins, scrollable frames).
Image Sequence - An image sequence is a pass-through overlay. That means if you created 400x300 72-ppi jpg images, these images are not scaled or resampled on upload -- they're simply passed through. For the hi-res folio, this is the equivalent of scaling up 400x300 images in an 800x600 frame. But with the retina display, image sequences look good on the iPad 3, though not as clear as if you use 800x600 72 ppi images. As I see it, you have three options: (1) just use the 400x300 image sequence, (2) create 800x600 source images and scale them down to a 400x300 view area, which looks great on both devices but increases folio size, and (3) create two sets of assets and put them on two different layers (or create separate 2048x1536 source documents).
Video -- Videos are pass-through overlays. Like the image sequence, a 400x300 inline video appears in the equivalent of an 800x600 area on the iPad 3. The same options apply.
Image Pan - This is the tricky one. Suppose you have an 1200x1200 72-ppi image in a 400x400 view area. On the iPad 1, you pan the 1200x1200 image within the view area. On the iPad 3, you pan the 1200x1200 image within the equivalent of an 800x800 view area -- the image pan overlay is restricted. For Pan & Zoom images, the best approach is to use different images. In this example, you would use the 1200x1200 image for the iPad 1 and a 2400x2400 image of the iPad 3.

Where is the "google reader" search in Safari?

Whenever I use any google web "app" such as news, gmail, video etc, there is always a search box at the top, except in RSS reader. This only happens in Safari. If I use Chrome, the search bar is there. This means I cannot search within my RSS feeds if I use Safari, my preferred browser. I know the search box used to be there but I can't remember when it went away. Is this an issue with Safari or with google? Any ideas on how I can get the reader search box back into Safari?
BTW, firefox also has the search box. again Safari does not.

If you had the Extension installed, check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. You may have turned Extensions off or inadvertently uninstalled Google Reader ?

How to resolve error in opening White Paper from OTN?

I want to optimize/tune my report. I was suggested from this forum to read White Paper available at http://otn.oracle.com/products/reports/pdf/275641.pdf.
I tried several times to open/print The white paper on above address but always got an error 'There was a problem reading this document (14)':
Previously I have been able to open and print white papers but here is some problem on the document side. Pl. guide as how I can I get this problem resolved.
Is Oracle Reports Team responsibel for resolving such problems or if there is some other department, let me know their contact so that I can take up matter with them. I need this white paper urgently as I am stuck up with a report. This report is taking 4 hours to process while expectation is 20 minutes.
