having a lot of trouble after installing itunes 9, i had to delete everything.
How do i find the music i have already bought ?

No, they don't store your personal purchases on a server so you can download then again and again. They pay royalties to the artists for every download.
If you have them on an ipod, you can get them off of that. Authorize your PC first. Then when you hook up your pod, be SURE to choose *TRANSFER PURCHASES*. Anything else will erase your ipod.

Yes I tried that. I finally turned off all home sharing settings, shut down my desktop and found them in my account settings in the store on the cloud. So at that point I just had it download everything. But I suspect that with the ipad somehow being on, the store was saying I had already received them? Regardless, my trip today whilst running errands, I was rocking out to vintage Police music! Thank you so much for responding.

The music icon will only access your purchased music. You need to go to the computer icon. It must be on and running iTunes, and home-sharing enabled in order for it to be accessible to Apple TV

You can't. Sorry. Encrypted movies in no way can be played back thru the VGA adapter.
You could do the following:
- get the Apple TV and stream the video to it. If you only have VGA input in your protector, get a HDMI -> VGA converter box. I use the one at http://www.dealextreme.com/p/hdmi-to-vga-video-converter-71816 for this purpose. It's pretty cool for the price - nevertheless, there're better models for more money; let me know if you need further recommendations on them. (Note that I haven't tested this unit with a direct HDMI output from the iPad yet. Will do it soon.)
- if the projector does have HDMI input, test it with the HDMI adapter. Hope the projector supports HDCP.

For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes if you have the sidebar displayed, or with the button at the top right.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

The music is stored on the iTunes library. This library isn't deleted when you uninstall or reinstall iTunes, so you will keep everything. Anyway, it's better to make a backup of the library. Apart from that, you can download the purchased music as many times as you want

From your backups. By doing a clean install you erased your startup volume. You may have installed OS X, but your personal software was erased. You can restore from backups if your have them. If not, then you've lost it all, permanently.

Setting up syncing
Before setting up syncing you should download and install the latest version of iTunes. Wi-Fi syncing requires iTunes 10.5 or later and iOS 5 or later. You can change your sync options at any time. Each time you sync, content is synced between your iOS device and computer to reflect new, updated, or deleted content.
USB syncing
Open iTunes.
Connect the iOS device to your computer using the included USB cable and select it in iTunes under Devices on the left-hand side. Some tabs may not appear if you do not have corresponding content in your library. For example if you do not have any podcasts in your library, the corresponding Podcast tab will not appear.
Click Apply, in the lower-right corner of the screen, to sync.
Wi-Fi syncing
Open iTunes
To set up Wi-Fi syncing, connect your iOS device to your computer with the included USB cable. Select your device under Devices on the left-hand side.
In the Summary tab, select "Sync with this [device] over Wi-Fi".
Whenever the computer and the iOS device are on the same network, the iOS device will appear in iTunes, and you can sync it. The iOS device will sync automatically when all of the following are true:
The iOS device is plugged in to power
iTunes is open on the computer
The iOS device and the computer are on the same Wi-Fi network
While the iOS device appears in the left-hand column of iTunes, you can select the content tabs and configure sync options.
Click Apply or Sync to sync the iOS device.

Or you could transfer from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

The music will be in your itunes library.
You can look under your account and see your purchase history.

Can't play music I've bought on Itunes store

All songs I've bought on Itunes Store suddenly won't play. My computer asks for my password again and again. When I've typed it, the computer tells me that the computer is already authorised, and then nothing happens. Then I press play again, and it asks for the password, and round and round it goes.

Weird, nothing worked, and the mentioned sc file was not present anywhere on my computer.
Problem got solved, when i removed itunes, downloaded it again, and installed. All previous files stille there, and now i works. Why did i not try that three weeks ago.

HT201272 I get this when trying to download anything I have bought in iTunes Store "The item you are trying to buy is no longer avalible"

All music I ever purchased in iTunes is showing up as no longer available and is impossible to download. Thing is I can still find every single one of those albums when searching for them in iTunes Store. All of them is showing up with a price tag button next to them.
Is this how iTunes Store work? The albums get removed from my account after a year or so and if I suffer a complete hard drive failure I have to purchase everything again? Sounds like a rather crap deal if that is the case...
