I have an older application for my USB6008 which has a Reference to NationalInstrument.DAQmx and an Imports NationalInstruments.DAQmx statement on top and it runs.Now I start off a new project after installing the latest driver software and I can't Add Reference to the requirement.When I goto Project>Add Reference>recent then the NationalInstruments DAQ is indexed as being in Program Files\NI\MeasurementStudioV2010\|DotNet\Assemblies\Current. Maybe thius is where it was with the older driver and thats howcome its listed under "Recent" but it is not there any more
There is NI.Common.dll NI.Common.Native.dll NI.MStudioCLM.dll and NI.NiLMClient.dll ..Thats all.
Please help

Where are the unpacked native resources / dll files?

Among the dll files in my native.jar there is an exe file that needs to be executed from the Java Web Start application.
I see that the files are unpacked at:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws\http\Dlocalhost\P8080\DMwebstart\RNnative_win.jar
but how can I retrieve this path from the java application?
(I need the full path to my exe file, and user.dir is "C:\Program files\Mozilla", not the above)

Java WebStart doesn't unpack anything, it just
downloads and caches the jar files. Yes, it unpacks the native files, because I found them in the folder I specified in my post:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws\http\Dlocalhost\P8080\DMwebstart\RNnative_win.jar
"RNnative_win.jar" is a folder name, not the downloaded jar file. The folder contains all the native files, so Java Web Start indeed upacks the jar.
So therefore I was hoping I could find this folder programatically instead of unpacking the jar once more.

The Report dll code is found in Modelsupport2.dll
The source of this dll can be found under \Components\NI\Models\TestStandModels.
The project name is "modelsupport2.prj"

Where does the ISAPI redirector go?

Where does the ISAPI redirector iisforward.dll go? Does it go on the
specific website or on the general website? The docs, from what I
remembered were a bit ambiguous about that. I put it on the whole thing
(WWWService) cause that's where I needed to put it for an older Apache to
work. But I seem to be at least getting a log file generated when I tried
putting it on one specific website within the WWWService. However, I'm
still not getting any redirects.

The scroll bar is hidden by default. You can re-enable it in System Preferences > General > Select Always show Scroll bar.

Here is question about install path of DLL for After Effects plug-in.
I'm developing Effects plug-in run with CUDA, so I have to deploy third party DLL to client PC.
So where is the right path to put DLL such as cudart32_30_14.dll?
I think it's under "Support Files", because my plug-in runs with cudart32_30_14.dll
in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS4\Support Files"

well... that depends.
when you rely on an external library, the external dll is expected to be somewhere along the path, as it appears in the command prompt.
places like win32, and sxs folders are in that path.
you could also put the support dll in the same folder as your plug-in. any process automatically includes it's own directory in the search path.
if you don't want to put it in any of these pre-set locations, then you have to program the path into the dll loading function.
if you choose to do that, you can put the support dll anywhere you like.

Where is the mod_jk2.dll?

I'm trying to install jk2 connector.
My problem is that in the .zip distribution on Jakarta site, I can't find the mod_jk2.dll that must be given to httpd.conf in Apache.
Instead of it, I find a mod_jk2.so, which is the Unix/Linux equivalent.
I tried to use anyway the .so file, but without success (I also tryed to rename it to .dll).
Please if anyone knows where to get this mod_jk2.dll tell me.
Or I must compile this file by myself.

Use the mod_jk2.so and put it in the apache2/modules folder.
In the httpd.conf add the line : LoadModule jk2_module modules/mod_jk2.so
right where all the other modules are specified.
This works for me with Apache 2 and Tomcat 5.
Don't forget to fix up a workers2.properties file (to be put in Apache2/conf folder)

I Migrated my pics from iPhoto to Photos. I've read that the pictures will appear in a "Hidden" folder...not in Moments or Albums. Where is the Hidden folder? I cannot find.

On iTunes 11 you can re-enable the sidebar via View > Show Sidebar. To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from you library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

Where is the software for the Lenovo G550???

I want to do a clean install and replace the pre-installed Vista with Windows 7.
I see that the Lenovo G550 download page has drivers for Windows 7, but where is the pre-installed software, like Veriface, camera software, and all other pre-installed Lenovo software? I looked at all OS options for the G550 on the download page, and NONE of them had the G550 laptop software, all they had for each OS option was only the drivers.
I understand that I can make a recovery DVD, but as I understand it, it will return the system to the factory fresh state (all pre-installed programs installed, but also with the factory installed VISTA - yuck!). I didn't see any option to only re-install the Lenovo software without also re-installing the OS.
When I look at the download pages for other Lenovo laptops, I see that they have drivers AND SOFTWARE, but the G550 has no software except for the drivers. Since the G550 came with no software disks, and there doesn't seem to be any of the software online, how exactly does one do a clean installation of an operating system, and then re-install the Lenovo software, on a G550?
I was able to find downloads of programs like Veriface on the Lenovo site for different laptop models, but unfortunately those were much older software versions, and for a different Operating system.
Why can't Lenovo post all of the software online? If they aren't going to provide the software on DVD when they ship the PC, then they should at least have it online; so that people can do a reinstallation if necessary. DELL doesn't seem to have a problem putting all of the software for their PCs online, and they also provide it on disk with the PC.
Do I have to find the hidden backup partition and then copy the Lenovo software installation files to a DVD or different drive myself? Has anyone done this, and if so, can they please provide some assistance as to the best way to accomplish this task?
If there is a different/easier way to accomplish my end goal of a G550 with a Windows 7 clean install, and also with a re-installation of all pre-installed Lenovo software, I would be extremely grateful for any assistance. If there is also a way for me to select which factory software I wanted to install, that would be even better ( I don't need all of the crapware that came on the PC)

Thanks, I'll give that a try when I finally get the Windows 7 upgrade disk.
It seems ridiculous that Lenovo doesn't support this product for Windows 7, especially when they mentioned the "FREE" upgrade (with ridiculous "shipping and handling charge") to Windows 7 on the web page where I ordered it. Being a reasonable person, I assumed that when they offered a "Free" upgrade to Windows 7 with the PC, they would also provide the basic software to allow the built-in hardware like webcams to keep on functioning as they did under Vista.
Had I known that they would refuse to offer any software on disks or download, I would have ordered a DELL or some other PC that has a reasonable level of customer service. I am not a typical user; I don't call in for customer support. All I need is the software and drivers, and I will install it myself.

Where did the old left click shortcut go - to 'make link'?

Aloha, Please tell me if there is a way to make a link like there was prior to installing the 10.4.11 update.
Before i installed that update i was able to press control & click and the pop up menu would give me the quick option 'make link' from the link text i typed. Now, since i have installed the update, it is gone and some of my links don't automatically become links; in email they seem to but on, for example, myspace they do not.
Please tell me if there is a shortcut to get to that sweet, quick and easy old 'make link' option.

When I send a photo from iphoto through e mail I cannot find a record in the sent box. Where is the record of the sent photo?

Where is the record of an e mail I send using i photo share? It isn't in the 'sent' box of my e mail account

What I am missing is the sharing history in iPhoto.
It's hidden and buried in the Info drawer for the photo.
And there's no way to search for those photos that have been emailed. If you want a sent copy BCC yourself on every email you send out.
