Where is the Native Windows XP USB/Display Support?

Windows XP Professional
ASUS K8N-E, AMD Athlon 64 3000+, 2GHz, 1GB RAM
PNY NIVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT 128MB AGP (Force Ware 91.31, BIOS 5.43.02.39.51)
Cinema HD 30" display
This is my first Apple product and it amazing good apart from the "PC Compatible" BS under the product listing.
Where is the native Windows XP USB and display support for this $2,000 display? And no, I'm not satified with a SourceForge.net project with one developer working on WinACD (all credit to his efforts, I'm a software developer too!)
Tell me the last time you bought a piece of hardware that didn't come with driver support? Is this the first and last Apple product I buy?

I hear what you are saying but frankly that doesn't cut it - I'm an embedded sw engineer and if you are saying that a company like Apple can't take the time to create a Windows display INF file, like they did in 1997, then something is clearly not right.

They created an INF file for Windows 95.... but not for customers running "recommended" Nvidia Quatro FX's cards
running on XP and ultimately Vista?

Well, it's an all-new application, it can be disturbing indeed.
However, your log window still exists, and its name never changed, it's called Console.
So, look into the preferences --> Debugging, look at the "On start" local menu, select "Show console", when you'll build and go your App the console window will appear and display your logs.

Although the documentation says you can copy Time Machine backups in the Finder, it's very slow and sometimes doesn't work at all.
Launch Disk Utility, open the built-in help, and search for the term "Duplicate." Follow the instructions. All existing data on the destination volume will be erased. That shouldn't be a problem, because you don't want to mix backup and non-backup data on the same drive anyway. Turn Time Machine OFF in its preference pane while copying the volume.

The Help panel that you're referring to applies to a Book file only and permits the zooming of the included files when opened from the Book. For individual document zoom controls, look at the lower-right corner of your Status Bar for the zoom contrrols.

How to switch quickly between the native soundcard and USB speakers?

My computer has two sound devices: one, the native sound card (which I use for my headphones), and an external pair of USB speakers. However, switching between them is a complicated task, mainly because I find almost no programs to do it:
* GNOME Control Center, Sound section: What currently works for me, but can only be used within GNOME Shell or Cinnamon. It can be used from other sessions, though (for example Spectrwm), but it's very heavyweight to have the whole GNOME desktop solely to switch between sound cards.
* KMix: Works only within KDE and nowhere else. What's more, to actually do the switch one must open the program, go to the options menu and select the soundcard (unlike GNOME, which is two clicks away from the status bar).
* Pavucontrol: Kind of works, but only in a per-application basis. That is, I can't tell the system to start all current and future sound streams in X device. What's worse, I must wait until the application is open to actually do the switch.
* XFCE4 Mixer: Doesn't work from outside XFCE. Even there, switching cards is not possible without literally editing a configuration file each time.
* Alsamixer and GNOME Alsamixer: Can't switch sound cards at all.
So, I'm still on the search of a lightweight program that can allow me to do something as simple as switching between my USB speakers and native headphones without much hassle. Is there anything else besides GNOME that can do the trick?

When I create a new mail or reply to a mail, where is the new window?

Suddenly, I can´t reply or create a new mail because when I do, the new window never appears! When I look in "Windows", I can see a list with all the empty "New Mail". But where are they? Help! Have I by mistake made some strange settings?

Look for additional information that may be available in the form of error messages written to the Console:
1. Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
2. From the File menu, choose either Open Console Log, or Open System Log, or both, so that Console displays the contents of both system.log and console.log.
3. Reproduce the problem and look at the bottom of the Console windows for messages that might be written there as a result.

Hi, recently I updated to Version 7.0.3, and, I dont know where I can see my "download window". I miss it because within the download window I could use other apps and see the download status in a very handy way. Perhaps they changed its place or name, if anyone could help I'll be very grateful,
PS. inst View > Show Downloads, I mean the WINDOW for DOWNLOADS.

used to be under "WINDOW>>DONWLOAD" something like, and now it is a arrow-pointing-down rigth to the search bar that can be acessed on "VIEW>>SHOW DOWNLOADS".

Aperture main window won't display. Menu options for showing any of the HUD's or the main window are all grayed out. How do I get it back?
My photo library is on an external drive. The drive appears to be working fine and the library is still there. Any ideas on how I can get back to them?

Never mind... it just started working for no apparent reason.
