We use a lot the "CR ODBC XML Driver 4.20" included with "Crystal Reports Server XI" to generate reports to our web-applications.
Now I am trying the new version "Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1" and after installing it I don't see that driver in the ODBC Data Source Name window (from de Control Panel of the OS).
Isn't more included in 2008 version???

Stupid question...where does the digidesign core audio driver belong

hey,
I did something really stupid and took out the digidesign core audio driver and I can't remember where to put it back. I've got a tdm system and never use the digihardware via core audio. now in order to switch from core audio to dae I have to quit logic and reboot where as before I could launch dae from within logic with out having to quit the program. I suspect this is because I removed the digicore audio driver.
any help would be appreciated.

How I Solved The X-FI + Vista Driver Unrecognized Device Prob

Okay, the solution first, then comments. It's not bad hardware, like myself and so many others assumed. Those of us who are used to using Creative products are familiar with the drop down menus to get to your type of device, model, and OS. Here's the rub: Currently, if you quite naturally choose "X-FI" in the top of the box (especially makes sense since it's at the top of the list,) and then choose "Soundblaster," you will be taken to the download for the driver that?seems to primarily work as a driver for insanity in the user. If, instead, you choose "Soundblaster" in the FIRST box, and then "X-Fi" in the SECOND box, you will be taken to a completely different driver that recognizes the card, sets up the drivers, and everything goes hunky dory from there. (Don't let the "beta" fool you.) The downloaded file should start with "SBXF" instead of "XFXA." Of course, you're going to have to close a bunch of Vista windows trying to "help out" along the way, but choose wisely (you want to accept the ones that ask if you REALLY want to install the drivers you're installing, and cancel the rest) and you will be a happy camper. "X-Fi" instead of "unknown media device," and the pretty, pretty sound. Now my comments: I am a Creative fan, from the early days when they replaced the Ad Lib cards?for me, to my Prodikeys keyboard. They've always made great products with great support. I have never before been frustrated like this by them. And one of the things that made that support so great was the familiarity of the process for downloading drivers.
This is a MAJOR hiccup, and a LOT of people are posting all over the net about the percei'ved problem. Creative may have to talk a bit with whomever let that bit of confusion come about over something as simple as redundant menu choices on a website. Anyway, I am not going to copy this post all over the net, so if you try this solution and it works for you, please spread the word. It would have saved me three or four hours. What are you going on about? Using drugs? That sounded pretty logical to me? So why wouldnt people who have half a brain do that without youre "smart" solution?

Can you please tell us on which page you found this information? This is not known to me that you get a bag and CD driver with the notebook.
Can you also explain what you mean with CD driver?
I have checked the user manual of my Satellite U500 and this shows the following informations about the delivered hardware in package:
+Toshiba Satellite U500 Portable Personal Computer+
+Universal AC adaptor and power cord+
+Battery pack (is preinstalled in computer)+
+Clearing cloth (is included with some models)+
So I didnt find any informations about the things that you mean

It's been a year since the last release of an audigy driver for vista 32 bit. And it barely works. What in the hell are you doing creative? way to send people away from your products. Can we get some drivers? it's been an f'ing year, and they don't even work with SP.

There was nothing in any SP notes that indicated a change to the audio subsystem. I checked as I installed SP. I think they are understaffed for programmers. They have somewhat of a release schedule but "they have so many products" that it seems they will never get the sound working. They said that Vista's tighter audio tolerances exposed some low level driver bugs. Maybe old improperly written code that is hard for new programmers who haven't worked on the code base to decipher. Either way you think by now they would of fixed it. Really sounds like disorganized and bad management. - My opinion.

I saw mentioned somewhere on these discussions that HP had a "list of pending updates". Anybody know where that might be? Like others I subscribed to HP Alerts, and all I get is SPAM.

Two months after Leopard release (an written assurances from both Apple and HP that my AiO would have "full functionality") I have nothing except for a print command that launches Text Edit. Hello, i've had my Creative Live Motion working fine under Vista for weeks until today after i have uninstalled the Logitech Quickcam software from my computer (as it doesn't work with my Sphere only the new Sphere MP). After that the Creative driver stopped working, i have searched around on internet and in this forum and looks like everybody have the same problem under Vista. after having tried everything else I have decided to reinstall the latest Logitech Vista driver :http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/do...,contentid=003 and then the 2000/xp driver for the Live Motion from Creative website which finally installed correctly and is again working fine. I have developped webcamXP and i've been using this driver under Vista for days without interruptions and without any problems, everything is working fine including the directX functions to control the pan and tilt through software. This worked for me i hope it'll work for you

As a mich more powerful app I think you'll find that Lightroom is also quite capable of "uploading, screening, and deleting unwanted photos."
The point about using both is that you have an overly complex workflow - and that leads to situations like the one you have now, where you can't recall the workflow you used.
Put another way, it's like wrting your novel part on Word and part in TextEdit. Which bit goes where? The best advice is to pick one horse and ride it.
Do don't "import photos to the Finder" you export them from iPhoto to the Finder. File -> Export....
On your Mac you have Time Machine as a back up application. There are also many, many others. Search on
MacUpdate

It looks like Agilent/HP makes the 8990A, but I was not able to find a driver for it that we or Agilent has written for this device.
Since I am not familiar with the 8990A, I cannot recommend which drivers might be similar, but you are pointed in the right direction. Agilent themselves might know more about which models use similar command sets so that you can modify a driver easily.

The Radeon 9000 driver works for the Radeon 7500 card. I have successfully used it on a T43 with Vista Ultimate x86

Unfortunately no. The Radeon 9000 driver should bring your graphics score up to close to 2, but it will not get it high enough to enable Aero support.
